@heather257 I’m sorry I didn’t see your reply until now! I think I am experiencing the same as you are. I feel rocking vertigo every day when I wake up, like I’m on a boat. Some days are worse than others but I can’t drive, go out to shops, go for a walk or go out of the house at all now and I don’t want to be left on my own. This is 6 weeks post AZ vaccine second dose. Just when I wake up feeling a bit better then I get the feeling like I’m on a plane that takes a sudden dip in altitude, then I feel sick and then I get anxiety and fullness in my chest. I was initially told it’s anxiety and to take propranolol (beta blockers) but they spaced me out and I didn’t agree with that diagnosis. Then was given anti sickness but they made me feel weird. I’ve been taking Betahistine with Ibuprofen for 5 days and been eating anti inflammatory and antioxidant foods but didn’t feel the Betahistine was doing anything. So I called doctors and asked about supplements listed here. He agreed it’s worth a try but he’s still thinking it’s a vestibular migraine. So yesterday I skipped my last Betahistine (Serc) tablet and got really bad after breakfast with rocking, nausea and anxiety. So I’ve continued with the ibuprofen and Betahistine and also had a beta blocker to see how that goes. Do you find the symptoms are worse after you eat and have you had any spotting since your last period? I’ve noticed I have xx

Update: After experiencing my first symptoms in early February, my tinnitus has lessened. It took months!  I do have bouts of dizziness. I have always had some sensitivity to light, but it is worse since getting the vaccines.

Anyone got a really sore chest like when you have a chest infection? Aching arms, neck and back kind of flu like? Along with the dizziness?

Feeling depressed and tearful today had enough of feeling this way now, I'm grieving the old happy, bouncy active me as is my boyfriend.

I'm praying I feel better soon.

Im praying the private dr gets a cancellation too so I can get a consultation and start Ivermectin treatment.

I will now try a stripped back approach as feel I have tried most options with limited success.  So I am stopping supplements as feel I've given them a good amount of time to work with some success. I have stopped pregablin as helped with nerve pain and anxiety but made me more dizzy.

My approach now is to take vertigo pills, ibuprofen and paracetamol as per my Dr's instructions. I will take a multivitamin and continue with the fruit and vegetable smoothies.

Wishing us all a speedy recovery  x

Can we hear more success stories of people having these long term symptoms and recovering?  I am super encouraged by the few I’ve read (I.e @dizzynessfromvaccine) but would really love to hear more.

It seems like quite a bit of people of fallen off from earlier on this forum, so that seems promising.

OMG!  You have no idea how happy I am to read this Kris...I have had tinnitus since my second shot on May 2nd...Can you tell me if you went to an ENT for your symptoms and they prescribed something (steroids)?  Or is it just the passing of time?

Glad your symptoms are lessening...

Been following this page since i got my first dose of Pfizer. 34 Year Old Male, U.K,  No previous Heath Issues.

Had first dose of Pfizer on 24/05/21 at 11am, went back to work and was fine all day, little did I know what was coming...

Drove home at 17:30, felt fine, as soon as I got out of my car I nearly fell over, felt as though I’d drank 20 bottles of Stella.... By 19:00 I was very sick, vomiting to the point there was nothing coming up.

The Vertigo was nothing less than severe, although it did slightly improve after 5 days, I spoke to 111 on day 2, who advised it was an immune response that had triggered vestibular labrynthitis and to contact my GP.

GP then told me that is a new side effect that 1 in 3000 were experiencing and would get better on its own in 7-10 days, prescribed Stetemil, which did nothing...

After the initial 5 days of severe vertigo,  it started to ease off slightly, but with this brought on another issue, Double Vision!

Every morning from day 6 until day 14 I woke up with double vision, which usually sorted itself out within 20 mins of waking, it also got quite bad again coming up to late evening.

Called GP again, spoke to a different doctor who agreed with 111 and diagnosed vestibular labrynthitis - This Dr prescribed Betahistine, 8mg, 2 tabs 3 times a day, This medication has provided quite a lot of relief, the double vision has now gone, however the dizziness is always there slightly, it is manageable.

Have got to stay on betahistine for 28 days, Before another check with GP.

Today is Day 23 since Vaccine, Day 9 of taking betahistine and feel quite positive, am going to attempt to go to the gym and maybe have a kick around!

Afterr the initial anxiety of thinking this would never go away, it seem like there is light at the end of the tunnel, unsure as to whether I will have my second dose.

Thought I’d share my experience, wish you all well and hope you get better soon!!

Frank - Thank you for sharing; I'm glad to hear you're improving!

Your account is the first I've seen where your medical advisors are giving this specific advice, attributing your symptoms to vestibular labrynthitis due to an immune response to Covid vaccination, informing you it is a new side effect that 1 in 3000 are experiencing and predicting it would get better on its own in 7-10 days!

There has been a lot of discussion on this forum about lack of correlation of these kind of symptoms to recent vaccination by medical professionals and desire for this to become acknowledged.

I wonder if the source of the information your doctors have received is publicly available, since I've seen nothing of this kind. If you come across anything of this nature - it would be invaluable to us, so please let us know if you do!

I hope you continue to have an uninterrupted course of steady improvement and a full recovery soon!

I had the first dose of Pfizer on 15th May and I had bad brain fog, head pressure and exhaustion. Worst of all which doesn't go away are the increased floaters! I went to the urgent eye care unit and they don't find any serious eye problems. I'm relieved that I'm not alone in blaming the vaccine as they developed immediately after. Has anyone's floaters been reduced? Needless to say that I'm not having another dose.

Hi Roxie - Although others have also reported onset of floaters following vaccination, I don't recall anyone sharing that they've diminished. Whether associated with vaccination or not, our brains can become pretty good at suppressing notice of them over time. That has happened for me over the years. I hope you will experience improvement, one way or another!

I also have experienced reaction to a mRNA vaccine, Moderna, and have decided to listen to my body letting me know that was not a healthy thing to be doing to it - so no more for me, also!

@chels8957 I'm having the same side effect in the same order , me and my wife actually , I was wondering how long did it last for ?

Its very disturbing....

Some here have had their side effects resolve quickly, but others have had them still continuing for many weeks. It is very disconcerting! I hope for speedy recoveries for both you and you wife!

@ladyd hi!  I’m more dizzy than rocking feeling.  The worst of my symptoms are extreme anxiety which I’ve never had….I feel weird too.  Like my brain and body!  I take bonine which is like for motion sickness and that does help.  I get terrible brain fog at moments and my vision is blurred too at times.  I just can’t believe this is all happening to so many ppl.  I haven’t noticed any difference in my cycle yet.  It’s been 11weeks since my vaccine.  Part of me wishes I never got the shot.  Although my best friends dad passed away from covid and didn’t get the shot.  I’m so scared I’m going to live like this forever :(.  I hope you feel better quickly!!!
