I was diagnosed with an Accoustic Neuroma 7 years ago and had it treated with Gamma Knife. Since having 1st Pfizer tinnitus  and vertigo really bad. Never had tinnitus with my AN before and not had vertigo since treatment with GK 7 years ago. Not going to have the 2nd dose. Wishing I could go back in time and not have had the 1st.

I came upon this article today, looking for more answers to all the questions I have about the side effects (tired of useless advice from the doctors) Is anyone familiar with the topic mentioned in this article?

Some of you mentioned that on the road to recovery you started to have good and bad days and not just bad… I think i just started to experience the same. I had 2 good days and now a bad day… so tired of this

@hope123 Hi Hope - I'm glad you're starting to have some good days! I know what you mean - I'm tired of it too, but now I'm starting to realize a rhythm involved and trying to figure out how to go with it.

I was able to tell that the Medrol steroid pack I took last month backed off my symptoms for a bit, because I took them during a time of plateau, but this time starting them after a big relapse, I don't know if I'm just recovering as I would have anyway, or if the Medrol is making a contribution.

I'm about at that point once again where I can move my head more with less feeling that I'm going to pitch over onto the floor, but I'm bone weary, probably partly because I've sat around all week, turning into a jellyfish! Now comes the hard part of getting up and and starting to move more again, provoking more symptoms and my brain relearning to work on tuning out the aberrant signals coming from my dysfunctional right vestibular apparatus. I know in my head that I'll feel better as I work through this, but my body just feels like lead right now.

I'm really exhausted after doing so much nothing today and must drag my tired self to bed and get some rest.

Tomorrow... well, I guess we'll see about our tomorrows when they come! I hope yours is another good one! 🤗🙏

Are most of you having reactions after 1st or 2nd dose?

I have heard of some people who had a bad reaction after 1st dose who went on to get 2nd dose which cleared everything up.  Is it possible somehow that the 2nd dose allows your body to fight/clear things out more?

Just a theory.  I will NEVER get another dose but was curious to know people's thoughts.

It is indeed a rocky road, my physical symptoms and emotions have been like a roller-coaster. I have to take everything one day at a time and just manage how I feel on that day. For me it's too overwhelming to make longterm plans when I don't know how I'll feel on any given day.

Guess the road to recovery is quicker for some than others. We just have to believe we will recover and take comfort from those that have however long it took. Everyone has different bodies and recovery times unique to them so we need to try and be patient with our bodies - even though I'm totally inpatient with my body for not recovering yet lol.

Speedy recovery to us all xx

EXACTLY!

We don't know.  We don't know.  Let's assume the best.  Live in the here and now.  Your plans are going to change minute by minute.  Roll with it.  I'm here for you.

@isismadec

Hopefully the medical profession will take these adverse reactions seriously as more reports are made.

I'm sick to the bones of being told its not vaccine related and is anxiety. Yes I'm anxious now has feel so unwell after having the vaccine but was not anxious before.

Let's hope they take this seriously and work on a plan to help us recover rather than being dismissive of our ailments.

One thing for sure the uptake of booster shots will be down due to how many of us have stated we will not have them. Then maybe they'll research a bit more into what they can do to ensure these side effects are eradicated or at least managed, otherwise thier agenda for mass vaccination will be derailed big time as it should be!

@heybro that is an excellent question. I am having a reaction after my first Pfizer shot, definitely not getting a 2nd one to find out as I am still recovering.
