@gingerjones The medicine that the Doctor prescribed was Nortriptyline. He claims it would get the brain levels down because the brain is overreacting to the vaccine. The other Vestibular specialist prescribed Topamax. They said that the Vitamin B2 and Magnesium were natural supplements to try to overcome this. Their suggestion for the natural route was to strictly follow a migraine diet and take the supplements. They said if i wanted it to go away faster, i'd have to start taking one of those two meds.

@kirstymiller I'm based in the UK. I got the private doctors details from a link on this forum (Flcc) and he is the only UK based Dr currently doing ivermectin treatment. He did tell me he is now booked up until November 2021 with consultations regarding covid / covid long haulers  covid and vaccine reactions. I originally had an appt for 22nd July but they had a cancellation and offered it to me first because of me feeling so unwell. I can pm you his exact details if you want?

@kirstymiller

it is a really horrible experience to feel so unwell and not know what to do to feel better. I know my anxiety is sky high too. It must be harder for you as have a kid to look after also. Some have found that all thier symptoms pass with time and you may well be one who improves with time. Others have had success with medicines and supplements and some like me have felt the need to seek private treatment now after a long time with little recovery.

It does seem to be that recovery is a very individual thing and what works for some doesn't for others.

I'm wishing us all a speedy recovery as I'm sure we will recover even if it takes time we are going to get well again xx

And I promise to update this forum with how my treatment is going once I have received and started the medicine.

@rachie yes please! it would be good to have them in case the more conservative therapies don't work. Just started on the supplements. This forum has been so useful and no people scaremongering or making you feel worse! thanks again and good luck! I will also keep everyone posted on my recovery. I find peoples date stamps really interesting, although its all individual. good luck x

Hey everyone,

I’ve had my vaccine 6 weeks ago. I was really happy about ist, and only had fiber for two days or so. Everything was fine except a pain in the back of my head, which I cannot clearly describe, but it felt like small electric shocks. This pain in my head never really left me. Some days, it’s fine and then, it suddenly comes back. 2 weeks later, I percieved an unpleasant feeling in my face and hands. It was tingling and it felt as if I had needles on my skin, the last weeks until today it was mostly appearing in my feet and hands. Furthermore, my skin feels as if I had a sunburn (which I don’t have) and my ears are ringing, which is really annoying. This scares me a lot, because I‘m not sure, if these symptoms will last. I met some people, who have basically the same problems as I do. But no one knows what to do or how it could become better. Was there anyone, who had the same symptoms and if yes, did it leave until now or did it stay or do you think it will just take time to get better? Was there any medication, that could help you? Do your doctors know, what to do? I’ve got this uncernaity, because I don’t know if I should take the 2nd vaccine or not. One the one hand, I definitly want to be protected, but on the other I’m scared, that these problems that I’ve got now will even become worse. My doctors don’t really know how to help me or what to do.

Sorry for my bad english, I’m from Germany, but since I went to many doctors, and most of them couldn’t help me I hope to find some information or advice here.

Thank you, I’m wishing you all the best!

@paulinea

that’s exactly how my symptoms are. I’m fine in the morning and get dizzy during the day, then mostly ok again when I go to bed. It’s so strange

@rachie

it’s funny you say that about the nurse. The only people that believe me about my symptoms being related to the vaccine are nurses and other hospital workers. Not one dr I’ve seen has said it could be related. Crazy that they won’t admit this and start finding treatments
