I found this discussion form with a google search. I got the J&J vaccine on June 1st, and started feeling groggy the next day. Two days later I was extremely groggy, the way you feel waking up in the middle of a deep sleep to take a piss, and also felt off balance, like I had been drugged with a sedative. After a few days I started feeling better, but it's now been a full month and I still feel slightly groggy and off balance, no matter how much sleep I get. My energy level is down, too... I've seen a doctor, he just said the side effects last longer in some people, but after reading this discussion forum it seems that long term dizziness is a definite side effect for many people.

BTW, I do have tinnitus from being a rock musician. Have had it for 20 years. Not sure if that has anything to do with the vaccine induced dizziness.

A lot of folks on this forum have had a lot of success with the following supplements

Liposomal Glutathione (liquid) 1500mg - some folks took just the 1500mg 1x daily - others took it up to 3x daily until the dizzy-ness  subsided

Liposomal Vitamin C - 2000mg

Quercetin - 500 to 2000mg daily

Zinc - 20 to 30mg daily

With all due respect, but from what I’ve understood Dizzy From Vaccine dose was: 3 times Liposomal Glutathione 500mg a day on an empty stomach; at least 40 minutes before eating.

In total 1500mg which already is a insane high amount of Liposomal Glutathione, but not unusual in acute situations, and not 1500mg 3 times a day.

125mg quercitine at the same time with 30mg after a meal 2 times a day.

No offense meant or anything, just trying to clear up a possible miscommunication: 1500mg 3 times a day is way to much, IMO.

In regards to your question about the J&J shot, my answer would be yes, it does cause the same effects.  My 29 year old son is 12 weeks post vaccine with the J&J and he has had horrendous side effects since day 3 after the vaccine.  Vertigo, nausea and other gastro issues, vision problems, shaking, body pains, paresthesia, chest pains, feelings of "electricity" surging through his body 24 hours a day, muscle spasms, nystagmus, sensitivity to light and sound etc.  This week is the first week he's been somewhat functional since April 11th.  He is currently 4 days without having a relapse which is a record for him. He has also, finally, been able to eat better and sleep better this week. Fingers crossed that he's starting to be on the mend but, of course, cautiously optimistic.

I am 31 years old. Extremely healthy. I had the first dose of Pfizer in March with no side effects. I had my second dose Sunday, 7 days ago. I experienced vertigo, extreme nausea and sudden unexplained depression. I had a baby three months ago. I still have vertigo, headaches and out of character mood swings where my brain is foggy. My leg also shakes randomly.

Has anyone experienced a mental issue? Is it the vertigo causing it or is it in addition?

Another note, does anyone have regrets and wish you could go back in time? I haven’t seen a doctor yet. I’m not sure what exactly they would test for.

It's been a long time since I checked in here. I keep hoping that I'll be able to say that everything is totally better, and I'm oh so close, but not quite there.

I'm right at 14 weeks since onset of symptoms, and my true vertigo and brain fog seem to be gone. I still have very brief dizzy spells, fatigue, periodic vision problems, and tinnitus, but life is so close to normal! I can drive again without having to think twice about it. In the last week I was able to do some home improvement projects that involved climbing a ladder. Tonight I was even able to attend a 4th of July party that included loud, bright fireworks, and it didn't set anything off like it would have a month ago.

I live in a part of the US that seems to be the latest Bermuda triangle of new cases, especially the Delta variant, so I suppose it's a good thing that I got my second shot before I realized that my symptoms may have been caused by the vaccine.

Anyway, if I had to put a number to it, I'd say I'm 98% of the way to being fully well.

@macey yes I had vertigo after getting the moderna vaccine. I went to physio and had them perform the epley maneuver. Google it as you can do it yourself. I went to physiosense here in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada. They specialize in vestibular rehab. I went and had them do the epley maneuver... And was a billion times better. I scheduled a 2nd appointment a week after the first to have it redone. I was having very mild but still happening dizziness.  After having this done the 2nd time... I am absolutely perfect. No dizziness... No spins... No feeling unbalanced.

Google Eply Maneuver.

Hi Everyone,

I received my first dose of Moderna around a week and half ago. 4 days after receiving the vaccine I began to experience the brain fog, dizziness, and vertigo people have mentioned on this forum. It has been around 1 week now, it seems to come in waves of severity.
Can anyone fill me with some hope on how long these symptoms will persist, and how long they have lasted for others? Any medication recommendations? Will this go away naturally with time?!

I joined this site to see if anyone else is experiencing the same symptoms as me after the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  I have been having spasms in my arm and hand. Both of my hand's first thing in the morning is so tight that I can hardly grasp anything. In addition, one of my arms has spasms in the inner elbow and hands that are pretty painful throughout the day.

Hello & welcome, Unfortunately there's not a usual course for this, so each person's story is written over time. As you know, many people don't have these symptoms at all after getting vaccinated; among those of us that do, some have mild symptoms and recover quickly, others have variable and/or lingering symptoms for months.

People try a number of different things during this time and some attribute recovery to prescribed meds, and/or over the counter meds. It's hard to know if healing happens over time anyway, and relapsing is a pattern for some.

It's not always easy to find medical professionals that will correlate vaccination with these issues. As a result, some have moved past their traditional providers and are getting advice from others here for the use of nonprescription supplements and/or consulting a doctor over Zoom who will prescribe medications that more traditional medicine doesn't recognize as appropriate for this type of issues.

I've wished to have my care remain directed by my family doctor and have consulted an ear, nose, nose & throat specialist also. They have ordered a number of tests, some of which have showed areas that they could offer intervention. I've been prescribed a tapered round of steroids, twice.

As a result of balance testing I've recently started my first week of vestibular rehabilitation therapy, since my issues have persisted for 4 months now, and I believe with the deliberate provocation of my symptoms my body is starting to learn compensatory measures that are aiding my recovery.

I would advise starting with primary medical care to rule out anything that is begging for attention that may not be at all related to vaccination, and to guide in safe use of anything used in hopes of aiding recovery.

I hope your course proves to be short and you experience full recovery! 😏🙏

Ok so I'll be taking my 5th dose of ivermectin shortly. My thoughts:

Well today is a bit different for me because some friends came over last night with a vr headset and I played the boxing game for the first time which was super fun but was like a 20 to 30 minute cardio workout! So I anticipated maybe not feeling so well today. Plus, I'm on like 2 hours of sleep. I'll probably crash after I take my medicine.

I will say though, there is a significant improvement. I don't feel like crap like I thought I would! I still have some issues, like what I think is "brain fog". I think the ivermectin has helped tremendously with the diziness and generally sick feeling, allowing me to separate that from other symptoms. I feel a good 60% better! So yeah I gotta say I think the ivermectin definitely worked. After today, I'll wait a week.

Has anyone tried the fluvoxamine? I was wondering if that would help with the brain fog. But yeah, definitely what I would call a significant improvement after 4 doses of ivermectin.
