@maisamy j'ai compris, tu vois une amélioration ? Les médecins disent que ce sera long, mais ils ne peuvent pas dire une date. Peut-être 6 à 8-9 mois. Mais tout le monde est différent

I mean has anybody be checked for Autoantibodies against e.g. G-protein coupled receptors after the shot? I m thinking about autoantibodies that could have passed the blood brain barrier and cause this problems.

Hi all,

I've been checking in on this forum for about 4 months now and finally decided to leave a comment to share my experience.

I received my first does back in late April and about 2 weeks later started experiencing vertigo (less dizziness, more walking on a boat or in a fun house) and having, seemingly, spontaneous,  panic attacks. I didn't think it could be related at the time so a week later I received my second dose. I did not notice an increase in these symptons but they were pretty bad to start. An NPR article discussing vertigo, tinnitus and loss of hearing as a side effect led me to dig deeper in to the possible connections and that's how I found all of you experiencing similar issues. Firstly, I am sorry that we are all going through this and no one will listen. We did our part and they hung us out to dry.

Secondly, after about 6 weeks of constant vertigo my symptoms had gotten mostly better- especially the anxiety and panic attacks (I ended up having 3 within a week's time). In mid-August I ended up getting covid (my luck, right?) And the vertigo that had mostly dissipated came back, albeit less intensly. I've noticed it waning over the past week but it still comes back in waves- something I noticed as a pattern before it got better pre-infection.

I'd like to start a discussion about boosters in this forum. I've got some time to wait and watch since I've recently been sick but my first instinct is that I will not be getting the booster. The lack of acknowledgement of our issues gives me little faith we will be getting any relief if the issues persist/revive.

What are your thoughts? Anyone already gotten a booster?

Vitamins and supplements I take daily:

I take turmeric, vitamin d, c and zinc, a respiratory and immunity multi daily.

I'm also a plant-based vegan- so not a ton of inflammatory foods in my diet.

@seemamkhrj Hello Seema, I read your thread with Holly and I hope that my symptoms go away too. I got first shot of Pfizer on May 20th, no symptoms. Second shot of Moderna on July 1st, and since then a consistent headache (24/7) along with dizziness, sound sensitivity, and ear pressure have continued for over two months now. Did MRI of brain and ear canal, all came clear. Met with neurologist who said that I have sudden onset migraine. The solution he provided was prophylaxis medication (though used for headaches but are basically anti-depressants or anti-epilepsy medication). I refused to take those as they have a lot of side effects and according to neurologist, can only reduce migraines by 50 percent. Been doing acupuncture for the headache for a couple of weeks now. So far no changes. Met hospital emergency doctors three times, but they did not provide any solution. So I am hoping that with time, these symptoms will go away. Thank you.

@Nauman- Apparently, we all are experiencing some neurological issues and for some reason there is an onset of migraine with aura (as suggested by my neurologist). Is you ear pressure still there? Mine has reduced considerably in the last two weeks. Although I am not sure when will the next relapse hit me. I haven't been able to figure out the cause of relapse. The anti-epilepsy drugs works great. I know someone who tried it and it took away almost all of her symptoms. I tried Lamotrigine but had side effects. So, I decided to discontinue it.  Now I am on amitriptyline for the past 7days . Its one of the milder drugs compared to Lamotrigine and Topiramate. My neurologist told me that these symptoms will go away with time. But, the meds can help us in crossing the rough patch (2-4 months).

@seemamkhrj Thank you for your reply Seema. I really appreciate it. My ear pressure has reduced a lot. Occasionally, I feel it a little more. The sound sensitivity has gotten better too but not 100 percent. Dizziness too has reduced but sometimes returns. The headache has had no change at all.

@sdeb424 Hello Jessy, have the vestibular exercises helped in reducing the symptoms?

@kris Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sorry to hear how difficult it has been. Here in Canada, where I live, I have met with 9 doctors so far. 2 specialists and 7 General practictioners (GP), only two agreed that these are vaccine side effects, the rest did not see any connection between the vaccine and the symptoms I described to them, like you mentioned in your experience. It is frustrating when doctors don't believe us. Please stay connected here and hopefully, all this will become past one day. Thank you.

@julie37lpool you’re not alone, I’m experiencing the same things you can check my post. I’ve been feeling this way three months now but the good news is that it gets better with time, my good days are better and my bad days isn’t as bad, it slowly gets better. I only get a panic attack if I eat high histamine foods or I’ll get anxious if I go out alone but now the intensity is less. Hang in there.

Hi,

This group is trying to get governmental recognition. I am sharing it. I hope that is okay.

If not. I understand.

@tiredofthisdrama yes, 42 m here never had insomnia before. one and only modern shot on 3/19. Insomnia started the 2nd night. suffered hell for over 4 months. nothing worked especially first 2 months. always amped up still. i started seeing improvement at the 4 month mark and I am seeing gradual and slow improvements. at 6 months now, it is almost back. i know of several other who suffered or are suffering insomnia. good news is that it does come back eventually. hang in there! magnesium glycinate helped me and some others.

@saba is it almost back to normal you wanted to say? Can you please tell me more about what your actual insomnia meant? As my brain is literally not switching off at all...thanks

@tiredofthisdrama I am also experiencing insomnia, muscle jerks prevent me from sleeping and yes, exactly as you described my brain doesn't seem to want to switch off. If I do sleep it is very light and I awaken easily after a short time spell. Feeling exhausted now. Going to pay for a private neurology appointment as the NHS could only give me an appointment with a headache nurse. She was pleasant enough but couldn't advise on alot of my other symptoms.  The insomnia is horrible though. Been with me for a few months now.

@marieski858 This is literally happening to me every word you said is literally happening. Can I ask you. Does it come on unexpectedly like your sitting relaxing and suddenly you get dizzy or sharp pains in the heart? Can I also ask you what has helped the most to relieve this? Thanks so much

Thanks @megan.  I filled out this form.  I hope more of us on this forum will do so as well to the extent you agree with the statements (pro-science, pro-vaccine, but wanting recognition and treatments).
