@quail444 I was just researching and found a study for RA that showed 49% of patients with normal CRP levels showed there was histological evidence of inflammation....my levels were normal also.

...so, part of my "negotiated peace" has become to avoid reading and hearing quite so much in that vein. I can't do that 100%, because it is a pervasive issue these days, but it becomes toxic for me to be too immersed in it.

I avoid as much as I can, but avoiding everything that upsets me is impossible.  I don't watch TV news or read a newspaper.  But I do see the headlines on my Internet feed, I follow this forum, and I do communicate with people who sometimes tell me things.

I greatly respect and empathize with you in what you're sharing. And that will continue to be a part of my story, also. In going onwards, I've decided that I need to look for what ultimately brings increasing health of all kinds ...and admitting, facing and expressing my justifiably appalled, angry reactions has been a part of that.

I've been asked by the health professionals I've seen throughout this debacle if I'm depressed. I've told them, "No - but I'm angry!" They're trained to refer you for help for depression, but I've gotten some long looks after sharing that I'm angry. They're not so sure what to do with that. Maybe they've decided they need to keep an eye on me, but none have made any mental health referrals for me yet. I think I'd be crazy not to be angry!

It's my reality that I've suffered an insult and injury to my physical and mental health and I don't accept anyone trying to convince me otherwise. But, I don't want to remain a victim of that, so I'm looking for ways to deal with it, to regain as much physical and mental health as I can, and hope that I can be a part of others doing that also.

At the least, I want to be learning healthy ways to deal with adversarial events in my life. And I feel that I am learning more about that, although it hasn't been an always upwards course for me. Rather I've taken many downturns, and I've got a ways to go yet. But I do want to continue to look upwards... 😏🙏

Hi guys my name is Sarah and I am in Australia. I had my first dose on September 9th and from the next day I began to experience vertigos, first there were several episodes a day and I always had faith that I was going to get better. now, 4 weeks later, my dizziness is constant, I feel confused, dazed and disoriented. I can't do anything at home this happens to me 24/7 I went to the hospital, they did an MRI that went well, my blood tests went well. now I have anxiety, panic attacks and an immense fear of dying, I have a 9 month old baby that I do not want to leave. Please give me positive stories and tell me if you can get out of this. reading that there are people dying from the vaccine has me terrified. I just want to read positive stories. I've been like this for a month and have had suicidal thoughts.

Sassafras, dragonlover and Tammy,

we all have been expressing our frustration and experiences for months. God bless us. Now we have to come to terms with our total disappointment in medical    institutions, governments, public health institutions and fellow humans. What to do? Keep the faith in the greater powers that be for the greater good to prevail as we have little choice as surrendering is not an option. May this horrible time end soon for all of us who thought we were doing something good and noble for friends and family and the greater good of all.
❤️🥺❤️

@bmango I’m praying, too…when did you get your shot? Have you been tested for Lyme Disease?

@zacattack99 did you ever have insomnia, chest pain, headaches or tinnitus? I have mainly tingling and twitching, a slight sound in my ears. I got the shot 9/3

Hi Gloria,

Yes, we've seen and been through so much together during this time and have done some much needed venting many times! I'm grateful for the few of us from near the beginning that are still stopping in here for this welcome oasis for our trekking on! We've never been in this alone since we chanced to happen upon one another here.

I'm reflecting on how these physical symptoms oftentimes ebb and flow, with times of recovering and relapsing, whether we have vaccine injury or Meniere's - and how our mental, emotional, even our spiritual responses do also.

As Tabby has reminded us to, we've helped each other to keep our chins up at times when we felt most discouraged.

We here understand what we're going through like no one else has opportunity to and having others' empathy that can arise from that makes us quite rich indeed!

I'm thankful for everyone here and wish well for us all! 😌🙏

I have only come across this forum some six months after vaccines began being distributed in the West. I live in a Southeast Asian country, so my experience is a bit different. I have had Meniere's since April 2017, and had lost between 40 percent and 60 percent of my hearing in both ears. I have not had a vertigo attack since December 2017 and take Serc, Nootropil, Tanakan, Cephadol, and a vitamin B 12 tablet to control symptoms. I was vaccinated with Sinovac, one of the Chinese vaccines, with the first injection on 8 June and the second one on 29 June. The Chinese vaccine is being questioned as to its  effectiveness, even in the country where I received it. But FWIW, here has been my reaction. After the first shot, mild tiredness and extra dizziness with nausea that culminated about two weeks after the shot.  After the second shot, more dizziness and nausea, which after 16 days persists. But most of this is something I can live with. Odd reaction to my hearing, however. I know this is only anecdotal, but my hearing slightly improved after the fist shot and significantly improved after the second shot. Coincidence? I don't know what to make of it.

I read someone else on here a few pages back saying that their hearing had improved after the COVID vaccine but I can't remember which jab they had.

It might have been me, because my hearing, coincidentally or not, did improve after the Sinovac shots. However, I just received my third shot, which was Astra Zeneca, and not Sinovac. That was on 30 September. I have been excessively dizzy since then. And I haven't been able to focus on my computer monitor as I did in the past. Just the last day or two it seems to be improving. But I really do not want any more Covid shots. And after reading through this forum, I am especially going to avoid Moderna and Pfizer. FWIW I do not think sufficient concern over the effects of the vaccines on people with conditions such as Meniere's has been given by the medical community. And they seem reluctant to investigate the matter. Governments have just been too gung ho to get everybody vaccinated, no matter what. I'm not an anti-vaxer. As I said, I've had three shots, now. But I am a lot more suspicious.

@opheas that is really interesting because this flare up has been quite bad and my stomach has been dreadful. What probiotic did you take?

Anyone heard of reports or people having more side effects after mixing mRNA and non mRNA vaccines? Any possible risks from taking those MRI and EMG tests? Thank you!

I've had dizzyness and chest pain that started about 1 week after the vaccine (July 20), and still bothers me.  I ended up in the emergency room thinking I had a heart issue on July 27th, and they did various tests and said it wasn't a heart attack. About a week later they asked me to wear a 24 hour Holter monitor to basically monitor my heart over the course of the day.  I just got the results and they said:

"Patient had multiple episodes of [dizzyness, chest pain, lightheadedness] correlating with sinus rhythm and ST-T wave changes for which I would suggest a rather urgent exercise tolerance test for ischemia workup"

I had an exercise tolerance test a year ago and was given a clean bill of health, so whatever is happening with my heart is new and post-vaccine. I still have dizzyness at various times during the day, and the odd stabbing chest pain that comes and goes (but sometimes is enough to make my flinch).  I have an appointment with a cardiologist in 3 days so I'm anxious to start figuring this out.

Just an update - heart issues have slowly gone away, but I still have balance issues.  I had a caloric reflux test which should grade III spontaneous nystagmus and a 24% decline in my right vestibular function.  The ENT prescribed high dose steroids for three days, and then a six day taper.  I'm on day 5 of the taper, so only 1 more day left.

I felt actually amazing around day 2-4, when I had lots of steroids in me - basically back to normal and able to walk straight for the first time in about 8 weeks.  But I think as the steroids decrease the symptoms are starting to come back.  So I'm not sure what I'll feel like in a few more days.   But I see the specialist again next week and we will re-review.  But definitely I have vestibular issues post-vaccine and they are sort of responding to steroids.

Hi guys, thought I'd drop by to see how everyone is getting along. It's great to see old friends here  contributing still, Sassafras, Dragonlover, Gloria to name a few but it saddens me that you are all, like me, still in the doldrums, trying to make sense of everything that's happening to us. Our timeline is about the same since the jab/jabs and we seem to be progressing and regressing along the way, there have been tears of desperation and tears of joy on better days, it has been something of a rara avis experience for sure.

My symptoms persist, more so these last few weeks for whatever reason. I've stopped taking supplements, they don't do anything, may even be making my situation worse. I still take hope from those who have recovered here and I am so grateful for their contribution.

I hope we will rid ourselves of this "beastie", as Sassafras would say, hopefully by Christmas, although earlier would be better. Best wishes all.😊🙏
