@flemingcool scary how in common it is with autoimmune diseases I know, I’ve been through every scenario in my head thinking I’ve got all these different things. Normally with blood clots you would have incredible pain and swelling, so i wouldn’t worry yourself to much if you haven’t got to much of an issues. After my d dimer I still had a ctpa which was a scan for blood clots in the lungs as I have shortness of breath so that test would of picked it up. I do agree that all these symptoms are extremely scary and can be signs for so many different problems which is a problem as doctors won’t test for everything 👎 at the minute my doctors seem to just be letting me ride it out and see what happens sort of thing. I’d be losing if I said I’m not scared but at the end of the day there’s not a lot I can do. Hope your symptoms aren’t to severe and your on the mend! Fingers crossed for us 🤞
@junior1087 -Many thanks for the swift response. Yes at 3months since just one dose of Pfizer I am finding none of the vitamin supplements really make much difference. Just Sleep, Water, Prednisone and Ivermectin (both Anti-inflammatories) have helped. Maybe the antihistamines like Type 1 Zyrtec and Type2 Pepcid help a little. It is a matter of TIME and whatever the body needs to get rid of this poison.
I have been cured of dizziness. When I got COVID-19 vaccines, I had dizziness, heart palpitations, tinnitus, and leg pains. My doctor said vaccines reduced my folic acid and vitamins of B12 in my blood. I used vitamin drugs, did dizziness exercises, and ate healthy things. Then I recovered from that about one week.
I never posted on a forum like some have said here BUT here's what happened to me: I received my first Moderna shot on Friday, 10.22.21. Felt actually great. A few hours later, I had some pain in the area where the injection was given. Next day I was fine too...until the afternoon. Dizzy and a bit nauseous. I laid down and took it it easy. Couldn't sleep at night for some reason. Had chills so I got a blanket. The dizziness has continued. Also congested but not sure if it's due to the weather as there is a nor-eastern coming and sometimes that affects me. I am grateful to this forum. I have been reading the posts and now I know I'm not crazy. Doctor's office said it would pass. Although I did not speak with a doctor, he suggested lots of fluids and coke. I take magnesium daily as well as C and D. I am a bit prone to vertigo so hope this passes soon. Fearful of getting the second vaccine BUT I am taking it one day at a time and trying not to project. I am scheduled to take my second shot in 3 weeks. I have not taken any meds but try not to in general. If it's no better tomorrow, I may try ibuprofen. Will come back and give an update when I know something else. Thanks for being here!
@jaydev55 For me, I have been having problems falling asleep. But it's only been 3 days since the first dose of the Moderna vaccine for me. Also experiencing dizziness and nauseous. Makes me not want to get the second dose!
@myadan me too! Having a hard day today with the swaying, headaches and ear ringing. Wondering if this will ever improve 🥺
@larag Thank you so much. I'm on break at work and was feeling fine until recently (brain fog/"static" feeling are starting to set in.) Reading your reply gave me hope. I just want to get back to normal. I was against getting the second dose until my workplace required it. I wish I had just quit. Oh, well. I can only focus on one day at a time.
@kenny I had a d dimmer and a chest ct scan looking for blood clots, all negative.
@andrewdb I did not get shots, but had a ENT say he thought I had Menieres, but since I didn’t agree with his diagnosis I didn’t return to see him.
@tarx I was diagnosed withPOTS after the vaccine. My brain fog and dizziness was due to blood pressure falling upon standing and getting worse the longer I was on my feet. I increased my hydration, sodium, electrolytes, added Zinc, B12, D3 and I improved over 3-4 months time.
@nomorehugs Same. My first visit here. I haven't had meniere's in over 25 years and yet....here I am. I had 24 hrs of vertigo after 1st jab in April. 3-4 days a bt mroe severe vertigo with tinnitus, hearing loss, full spin cycle, nausea etc. after 2nd Pfizer in late June. Then started getting all these "vestibular migraines", kinda new for this lifelong migraineur. I'd never even heard of them but when I read about them, yep, that sounded right. It felt like mini-meniere's, as I used to call it.
3rd jab (Moderna) on Oct 3 and I'm still having quite severe "Meniere's", terrible headaches, burning eyes and increase blurriness. I've been using Dexamethasone and need to taper it down now because I know it's not going to do much more good - on ly bad really. I've had 2 new eyeglass scrips since June and the latest ones are better, but I still can't see much of the time!
Nice to know I'm not alone.
Have all your symptoms resolved by now?
I'm sorry I'm in such a brain fog!
I'm new to this forum, but not new to this illness. I got a flu shot in October of 2018. I started getting weird pain in my occipital nerves and didn't think much of it. But then 5 weeks after the shot I woke up to a spinning room. Cleared by the afternoon. Happened again next morning. Went to the Er. They said it was bppv. I had a trip planned to Florida for Xmas and was debating going. But I felt a little bette other than that occasional feeling like I was being dropped. Went on vacation. Felt sick most of the time. But on the plane ride home I fell asleep and woke up to a spinning airplane. Constant vertigo for 4 days. Got diagnosed with VN five months later and after all kinds of tests and fighting with many docs to get help. It took me a year and a half to feel almost normal. I will not be taking that vaccine. I haven't been on the site in a long time and just read through all of these comments. For those of you who are suffering I think it will get better. People are not being made aware of these side effects because they don't want anyone to be deterred. I worked front lines for 15 months and ended up quitting. That kind of reaction is not worth it.
@simplicity2378 everyone keeps telling me to be positive , but I keep waking up to this nightmare that doesn’t end. I think about how I used to be before this happened and I can’t stop crying. It is not a life that I am currently living. This is hell. I can’t enjoy anything and I don’t feel safe inside my own body. I have never felt that way before. It is that scariest feeling. I used to be a very active, happy, outgoing person. I want that person back. I am so mad that I took this vaccine. So mad. If I don’t go back to my old self , I don’t know that I will ever find peace and happiness the way that I am now. I know many feel this way. It’s extreme. And it pushes you over the edge.
