I have a sister who is a registered nurse at a hospital in Boston, MA.  She contracted Covid-19 in March of 2020.  During this time she lost her sense of taste and smell and developed tinnitus.  It took a full year for her sense of smell and taste to come back, and it took a good 6 months for the tinnitus to go away.  She said at times the tinnitus was the worst...

She did go on and got both doses of the vaccine and none of the symptoms she had from Covid-19 returned.

She also told me if my tinnitus is from the vaccine (which it DEFINITELY IS!) then it is only temporary...

Has the tinnitus gone away?

Many of us are having it post the jab. If yours is cured, we can hope for the same.

Please do reply.

sorry to report that it is still with me...

According to some, their tinnitus (due to Meniere's) was lessened by taking Lemon Bioflavonoid. It's an OTC supplement. It did absolutely nothing for me, but it might be worth a try for others.  For those who wish to try it, it must Lemon Bioflavonoid and not Citrus Bioflavonoid, they are not the same thing. There is probably more information about it on the Meniere's Forum.

@medee yes. For sure. I had a lot of head pain, headaches, head pressure. It felt like a head cold all the time but without the mucus. It was constant. In the temples, in the nose, in the ears. I really feel like my head was severely inflamed. There were two times in my life that I remember having the worst headaches I have ever had. First, after I caught Covid, and they lasted for a few months and were excruciating. The second was after the second Pfizer shot, and they were just as bad but had a whole slew of other symptoms at the same time that I didn't have with Covid, like the dizziness and head fullness. I found that my muscles in my neck and shoulders and all the way up my neck were very badly swollen and bulging. This was terrifying because they were noticeably larger. And I got a neck massager and started with the cold compresses and daily massages. It really helped all around. It made them sore, but looser and I think some oxygen finally started to get to my brain. Also, I had only one day of not being dizzy in the middle of all of this before the last time. The last time I had a very severe migraine. The worst, barr none, of my life. It hurt for two days and my temple was actually sore. And sore to the touch. But I didn't get dizzy after it like I expected to be and I haven't been dizzy since. As far as stomach issues, it maybe the supplements. I did have a stomach infection right after my symptoms stopped. Like a few weeks and it was an infection. I had a scan and everything. High WBC count, the whole nine. I ended up getting my yearly colonoscopy and some strong antibiotics and steroids. The MRI showed inflammation from start to finish through my whole digestive tract. I don't relate it to the vaccine, but possibly the supplements or medications I was taking could have made it happen. Or a random infection that coincided with the end of all those symptoms. I really don't know, but it was awful and you should get up a GI appointment if you are worried. I can't say it was the vaccine, but it did happen and I figured I would mention it given your symptoms. Go to the doctor. THAT symptom can usually be solved with some steroids. I was at the point where I hadn't eaten anything and I couldn't eat anything and I was in pain and all of that because I refused to go to the GI doctor until I couldn't stand it anymore. It would have been much more manageable if I had just gone when it started. At least have some blood work done to see if you have a gut infection. All of this is terrible. It seems never ending, and I felt like giving up so many times, but a lot of it, like 90 percent, is the anxiety caused by the shot. It's involuntary and it's real. You have to get control over it. Call your doctor and ask for some anti anxiety pills if you have to, but you will heal faster when you can breath through it. You aren't dead yet and neither are we. I know how you feel. I thought it over and over that this shot was going to kill me. I had it set in my mind so that any new thing or recurrence of an old thing would set me off on days on end of how I was dying. It is a symptom. I am convinced of it. Take it one day at a time. You are still here. You can get better. You have to tell yourself until you believe it. When the anxiety breaks some, it really helps other stuff too. Breath. Neck massager. Cold compresses on the head and neck. Call your doctor. It takes time.

Thank you! I am trying my best to take it one day at a time. But it wears on you most of the times, especially when you continue getting new symptoms every now and then.

Unlike you, I cannot take any medication as all the tablets I took in these 2 months only made my condition worse. It didn't work on me. Maybe I would've been at a better place both mentally and physically had I not gulped all the tablets prescribed. But who knew how this all works.

Unfortunately I do not have any medical help here in India. They just snap at you and laugh it out or ignore your injury. Things have been difficult for me. You won't believe but the Cardiologist I last saw didn't want to believe me and asked for a Psychiatric advise.

He told my mom to wait back and spoke to her separately telling her that I am all scared and this is anxiety. When she told him it isn't and how messed up my condition has been post vaccine, he asked both of us to see a Psychiatrist. How inhumane and unprofessional is that!!! And these are well reputated specialists with the highest ratings!

I am still trying to look for a doctor who could help me with some blood works and prescribe some supplements accordingly. Even for that I have to struggle coz they just don't want to speak or hear anything about it. We don't have any Naturopaths here nor Functional doctors. Have a couple but don't seem legitimate and would charge a lumpsum amount for a 2-3 months diet plan which you have to pay in one go.

I tried to speak with the Neurologist about inflammation and he said it could be or cannot be but there's no test to rule that out. I didn't know if what he said was true. I knew he doesn’t want to speak about it. This is how things are out here.

I just wonder how many people must be there in my overly populated country who have no where to go, no help, no resource. Don't see anyone here talking about it but have heard there any many in every locality suffering in silence coz if they speak in the open, maybe they will be attacked and nobody has the strength when we're already down with so many symptoms. Moreover the crowd is poor ir earn minimal wage or salaried people. They cannot do much. We will be easily suppressed.

I just hope something works out for me. Hope I come back soon and update a recovery post. Not sure when but I hope the day comes soon.

So do I. We have doctors here in the States that also won't hear of it being related to the vaccine. The first doctor I went to told me I had no sign of an ear infection but it must be an ear infection because it couldn't be the vaccine. She said any effects of the vaccine would be completely gone in two weeks or so. I was sick for three months ths and two weeks. It was absolutely the vaccine. I think they can't say because there's nothing anyone can do about it. The manufacturers are protected. And now they can mandate a shot where there is no recourse if it injures you. That isn't right. If it's safe enough to be mandated, then why can't you sue if it hurts you? Now they're sticking this stuff into children.

After 6 months post Vax, I still got the tremors, the dizziness (the weirdest I've ever seen -as it's with neck and head movement), the eye vision problems (first was blurry, eye sensitivity, now double vision), lack of attention spam. I guess what's gotten better is my memory and brain fog, my heart rate and axiety, but I am so distracted by the internal warfare with my own body, I can't really focus on the outside world. Does anyone else have problems with their muscles? Like you can loose up the tight ones but they cringe back into their comfortable place. I've also had the many tests but now waiting on my rhematalogist and nerve conduct test. Dr all say stress but it's since post vaccination.

Years ago, it was prescribed to me by the doctor at the House Clinic.  Like everything else that was prescribed, didn't do any good.  At the time it was actually a prescription, but now you can get it OTC on some online vitamin/supplement sites, and maybe in a well-stocked vitamin store, I don't know for sure.  It's made from the inside white part of the lemon peel.  I tried it at various times over the years.  It didn't help, but neither did it have any bad effects.

Just want to update you all... so since being in ER diagnosed with vestibular neuritis....its now been 9 weeks of feeding dizzy,  unable to drive or go for exercise....after second shot of phiser and being an invalid after  12 days after second phiser shot 8.10.2021 till today.. There's been no admission from any of specialist that its covid related.....except for the ER staff -  as im not the first  person coming with this issue. GET THIS "as a lottery odds". My grandfather ended up in ER.......10 days after a second phiser short......no fucking dopesick shit from me. This crap is not "fit all" . its wrong that, now  im incapable of normal life. I would rather have covid for 4 weeks and/or die than not have a quality of life and my partner watch me in the toilet when i piss.....so i don't fall and hurt myself. Really angry.

This "one size fits all" approach makes me angry enough to spit nails. If this was anything else, any other vaccine, drug, etc. they would readily acknowledge that some people shouldn't take it for whatever reason.  If this was anything else, and someone had a bad reaction to it, that person would be told to not take it again.  But it's another story with this crap.  They couldn't care less what happens to people.   They continue to push this crap on everyone even though it's quite obvious by now that it doesn't even work all that well and is causing a lot of misery and damage to some people.

My family has been crying since the day I got these symptoms. I cannot lock the door even when I go for a bath since all of this began coz who knows what will happen to me. I have to keep the door unlocked. Just in case....

I deep down feel I won't make it for long. 2 months ago I was a happy person, planning my future. Now I am scared, my family will be homeless as I'm the only earning member and live on a rented accommodation. They everyday have to check if I am still breathing. Cry out their heart to the Lord to heal me. I can't concentrate at work nor can I tell them what's happening to me coz nobody believes. My reports state this is all anxiety which we all know it isn't. We've nowhere to go.

Every few days or weeks new symptoms show up. I hear weird sounds from my stomach, bone craking sounds etc. These weren't even there a few days ago.

What is happening to us? This is pushing us to death either out of frustration from health issues or by killing us slow. We just voluntarily took in poison without even knowing it is slowly killing us.

Yes, i have too bone cracking sound and sound from stomach.

I feel so hopeless with these side effects. I have no idea how to navigate the medical system. I have a very complicated pre-existing medical issue (which i was managing just fine pre-vaccine)  and a very complicated vaccine reaction and it seems like almost everyone gaslights me on the vaccine part of it. buuuuut just look at this site...this isnt an antivax site, its a site for people with vestibular issues and there are so many of us reporting the exact same issues. something has happened to us, Yet no one is talking about, it, why? I don't know where to turn for any kind of real help anymore. I don't get vertigo anymore, but i still have a lack of depth perception and very severe dark eye floaters. laser treatment is an option with floaters. had it done twice, some effectiveness. im thinking about trying again with a more specialized doctor. basically i have to act as if i can see perfectly all day at work, driving my car, and i feel like something is really not right with my eyes and i dont know what to do about it. im afraid to go anyhere, to drive, to look at anything white (floaters), be in the sun, be in an unfamiliar spce or a familiar space where i have seen floaters before. im just in bad shape and i dont feel like i have anything to live for, any quality of life left. i used to feel comfortable doing my job, driving anywhere, outdoor stuff,, nothing is pleasant in my life anymore. im so sick of this. its not fair.

my 2 cents, will take a longer break from this forum now.. Do I regret having had the shorts... no, because I do believe that me and each and every one of us made the right decision at the time, based on the knowledge and facts that were available to us. If we would have known that we would get such symptoms for who knows how long, probably we all would have skipped the shot. So no point in beating oneself because of having had the vaccine. Boosters I guess are not something that people who roam this forum intend to have.. we looked at the risks and benefits, did our calculations and made the decision..

I think it is logical that we all want and are looking for answers but going down the rabbit hole too deep will just create more confusion, disappointment and frustration.. Do take breaks and whenever you get the bad days, its best to take it one day at a time.. Trust we will all get better with time.. pcmn
