It has been almost 3 months since my one & only Moderna vaccine. The tingling in my arms and legs have gotten better as well as the leg muscle tightness. My anxiety has gotten alot better along with my acid reflux unless I drink alcohol which seems to flare it up. I am able to go to sleep on my own without sleeping meds. Slowly but surely I'm getting back to myself pre-vax.
@rainyday Hi, Thought i'd check in and see how things are progressing for you. My Headaches seem to have cleared up somewhat. Just the odd eye pain or forehead ache. Three weeks ago most of my symptoms disappeared for two weeks. Then the Dizziness returned with a vengeance. its worse than before as well. Hope things are getting better for you xx
Hi all, first of all I want to thank everyone who's been sharing information on here. Like many of you, I have been dismissed by my GP who would rather believe that after a lifetime of excellent health, I've suddenly developed a large series of separate and coincidental issues.
I used to run 5k every other day. I now get winded just using the stairs. I no longer leave the house and am in bed around 7:30pm every night. I have been barely able to keep up with my work. I try not to think about my life too much and just concentrate on healing.
After my first Pfizer (Sept), I developed night sweats and a bit of insomnia. And also heightened anxiety. Chalked it up to hormonal stuff. Within the first few days of the second (Nov), my injected arm went numb. Since then, I have lost strength in that arm (can't raise a cup of coffee) and I have pain in my forearm if I try to stretch it out. Have also had that arm go numb and have had intermittent stabbing pain in my fingers.
Sudden chest pain at rest (quick squeezing) sent me to ER twice - at 10 days post and then 1 month post my second. All tests came back normal, although ER doc mentioned he had been seeing 'lots' of cases like mine this fall. Other symptoms... tinnitus (constant), brain fog, headache (can keep at bay if I avoid histamine-containing foods), fevers that still come and go, and complete fatigue.
Thanks to the sharers on here (and consultants at my local supplement store) I have started taking: NAC, Vit C, Quercitin, Vit D3 drops and a probiotic. It's been less a week on these so will post back with any updates.
I so appreciate everyone who is sharing their stories here. I hold out hope for all of us.
@rainyday For a CT test you lay on the table and it takes a few minutes for the machine to scan. I have not had a brain CT but have had a lung CT with contrast. When they inject the contrast, it goes into your arm through an IV. The contrast will make you feel like you peed yourself, but you won't. It is a very strange sensation. They then run the test again to get the second set of pictures. The contrast allows for a more precise picture to then determine if there is something abnormal in the brain. CT scans are shorter in duration than a MRI. I am not aware of the contrast increasing the chance that you would have any increase in symptoms. Hope this helps.
@someone I understand how you feel. I think a lot of us are in the same boat as you trying to get someone to give us answers and it is just too soon to know. I am a physical therapist so I have a medical background and have been very disheartened by this entire situation for myself and cannot imagine trying to navigate this situation without the medical knowledge and expertise that I have. I have seen my PCP, neurologist, otoneurologist, and ENT with none of them being able to determine what the cause of things are and none of them stating that they support my theory of vaccine induced issues. Luckily my PCP was good about checking things when I immediately presented to her office with difficulty walking and the inability to stand still and be stable after my second vaccine in March to make sure I didn't have a brain tumor/MS/Parkinson's etc. I am better, but think the medical community needs to consider that some of us may have a sensitivity to the vaccine that may make it plausible to consider alternatives (i.e. different dosage or manufacturer of vaccine) or other medications when we are vaccinated to mitigate the effects. I am still looking to know what is going on given I am not back to 100% and was an extremely healthy individual without balance problems prior to vaccination. Before obtaining the booster I also want to know what my risks are and how to best navigate that. Unfortunately, we have to be our own advocates in the medical community and keep bringing the issues we are having to the attention of healthcare providers so that we don't just go away. We need to report to VAERS, NIH, CDC, and other large systems in our countries so that they are aware that a problem exists that needs to be researched and remedied. I am still very thankful for this forum to let all of us that find it know that we are not alone in this. All of us have had some major change in our bodies whether temporary or permanent while trying to protect others and ourselves from COVID-19, but we have each other to try to work through some of this with.
@melly67 With the dizzy symptoms I would seek out some physical therapy for vesitbular rehabilitation based on what you are describing. You need an MD order/referral.
@s-m-a do you remember what mg you took of fluvoxamine? I got 100mg but came down with a cold day 2 of taking it so I stopped. Think I might have too high of a dosage. Thanks
I contracted Covid 19 in October 2020 and went to the hospital for 2 days when I began to develop pneumonia as my lungs started to make that crackling sound when I breathed. I fully recovered and then had my first Pfizer vaccine shot in Sept 2021. But I have noticed over the past few months that I'm becoming feeling out of sorts and my health has decreased with the following symptoms of feeling off-balance, dizzy and almost feeling disconnected from my surroundings. It's like a weird out of body feeling that triggers a fear that I'm about to fall when I begin feeling light headed. My vision has got worse - more blurry and it concerns me when I'm driving. I wish I never took my 1st shot of Pfizer. Since then, my immune systems seems to have gotten worse.
@medee oh my gosh that has to Be awful! I’m so sorry. I don’t really do much for it.
I just saw a report on the Havana Syndrome. I was watching with my daughter and husband when the reported described the symptoms they both said “that’s you!” So uncanny and it made me think maybe we are suffering Vaccine Syndrome.

I’m nine months in with things getting worse not better. Especially the head pressure and vision disruption plus all other symptoms that have manifested since my second Pfizer on March 17. I pray we all get ourselves back, but my hope is dwindling.

Sorry Nick. I don't know. I took it like it was prescribed. I doubt I even have it anymore, but I will look when I get home and if I find it, I'll post the mg and directions. But I doubt I do.
This makes me so sad because I have these same symptoms, but I’ve never had covid. I had the first phizer vaccine. Now, Im dealing with this. I believe my body is trying to fight whatever they put in that vaccine, but it’s just discouraging because it seems like doctors are less likely to help when you say anything about having these symptoms after having the covid vaccine.
@melly67 yes, I have a tremor of the muscles of the arms, legs, head with tension. sometimes it is more, sometimes less, but it is. If I want to exercise my muscles, they shake! I am 6 months after the vaccine, I think it will go away from time to time, as it weakened.
Hi , I think it's close to 6 months for you now. I too am struggling with the anxiety amongst the plethora of other symptoms. How are you feeling ?
I couldn't edit my post but just realized I left out most of the vestibular symptoms! I've never had any vestibular issues in my life but I have also been experiencing dizziness/swaying feeling while standing (comes and goes), high sensitivity to noise and light (constant), and have also had to stop driving. I feel like things come at me too fast and my brain can't process things quickly enough. Don't know if anyone else has been experiencing this?
