@jkro Steroids shut down the adrenal glands.. Even if you get it in a hospital or a clinic and get an IV, you would need an oral steroid taper of about 5-10 days after to slowly ramp back down and let your adrenals take over again, otherwise you may go into adrenal crisis which is serious. I got it for one day coming off my oral, and it wasn't fun - I had to take another 1/4 pill before I passed out.
I’m not sure why we we going back and forth about this. I won’t tell you what my education is in but I assure you I know how steroids work and what they do to the body. I’m sorry if my posts to you have offended you in some way. My original point was simply that people have been given high dose steroids with conditions after the vax and saw improvement. The risks to taking steroids is another reason my doc doesn’t want to prescribe them without a study to back up efficacy. The issue I see is that the vaccines themselves don’t have longitudinal research and data so 🤷♀️. He advised me to get the vaccine 🤷♀️. I’m sorry you are suffering side effects I am as well. I have had a really crappy last 18 months. I’m just here to try and help anyone with whatever I have come across. I read medical journal articles for about 8 hours a day or at least try and research all of this. I want answers just as much as any of us. I really did hear of the high dose steroids from someone who is very versed in these vaccine issues here in the US. This wasn’t something I just came up with. Thanks for your input though and I appreciate you sharing your knowledge.

Also anything I say shouldn’t be used as medical advice. Always talk with your doc before taking anything. All the things I find is just through my own research of different articles I come across.
Anyone else had a flare up over Christmas after having a good month? Just caught a virus/flu as I’m blowing out dark green phlegm . Seems like it has caused me to relapse anyone else had similar sort of thing after having a cold or virus?
Yep totally the same. Flare up every time I get a virus.
@medee many of us have had one shot however, you would think that would clear up faster. However I'm 6 months out and still not fully recovered.
Yes, I do know there are many who haven't opted for the 2nd one but still haven't recovered. It's just so shameful on the whole medical fraternity and Governments that injured people are on their own speculating how and when they will be cured.
I am almost 3 months into this and already feel like this is my end sooner or later. Though deep down, I hope I somehow recover soon but, the chances seem bleak.

I’m not sure what you mean about 18 months? I don’t think I said anything about 18 months? Maybe I had a typo. That happens to me a lot.

Oh I see what you meant. No in my life it has been rough. I had a miscarriage at work I had to work through, I had issues on ultrasound with my rainbow baby, both of my grandmothers passed away, my mother almost died, my son broke his arm and had surgery, son had covid, son hit a deer and had to repair his car it has just been one thing after another. I can’t catch a break. I then had this stupid shot that I shouldn’t have gotten and have nothing but problems with that
Also, I had my last shot on July 22, so roughly 5.25 months ago. My COVID19 antibodies mid-December were 560, and at the end of December were 500. So they are slowly dwindling. I'm hoping whatever is going on will die out as the antibodies die out.
What is the name of this test? Maybe we too can check for this and see.
Does it require a Doctor's letter to do it or qe can do it without any letter?
@pfizervictim I don't know, but 50 is considered a negative test, i.e. you don't have antibodies.. So I'd probably hit that in six months more, but every month it'll go down.
So by that logic, we can expect life to get back to normal in say 1 year to max 1.5 years. Though still a long long time.
I don't know if eating anti inflammatory food and supplements help in reducing the anti bodies... do they? If they do, then maybe we can get back to our normal self faster.
Just a stupid guess but, speculations is all we have.

Is this 500-560 only from the vaccine or did you also contract Covid in the past?
Someone who contracted C and then vaxxed may have more anti bodies than others
People who had no covid but took both doses may have more than someone who took only 1 dose.
I wonder why people with only 1 dose are struggling for almost 10-11 months now. Have seen a few on the forum itself.

You can buy the antibody tests online in the UK. Not sure about other countries. When purchasing check the small print as most only test for vaccine antibodies but there are pricier test kits that test for prior covid infection as well as vaccine antibodies.

Thanks! Will check this online if they do it without a Doctor's letter. Most tests in India need a doctor's letter so not sure if they'd do it without it.
Doctors here are utterly useless. They won't write any tests nor know what is going on. According to them, I am manifesting all of this due to anxiety.
I am pretty much over all my other symptoms, but the only thing left lingering is head and eye pain. Does anyone have lingering head pain?If this head pain would go away I would be 100%.
@tabby Thank you for sharing this - it has been such a roller coaster. Is he having any lows? I am having more lows than ever before!I’ve gotten blood work and everything looks normal, so dead end there. Would you be willing to share a diabetic forum with me. I am in need of more information/resources and doctors are not help right now…sigh
Hi, his sugar levels are never low, if that's what you mean, they are always higher these days than they should be. Sorry if I have misunderstood. He is certainly feeling depressed at times. I do not have diabetes myself but you can private message me if you think I can be of any help. Maybe we will know more when he gets his bloods done on Thursday and his results to see if anything is recommended for him??
@hallen4496 Hi, how are you doing? Just letting you know my husband's bloods came back normal. He has an appointment with his diabetic nurse later this month.

How long were you battling this?
What symptoms have been cured completely?
