@thelma@Sassafras@atp223

Thanks Thelma, I hope that works for you, I'll keep it in mind. I have Damamine which I think is helping with the dizziness but I'm only taking a half tablet a day instead of the recommended 1/2. Just want to make sure if it agrees with me first.

Sassafras, good for you for getting on your mower, hope your dizziness is subsiding.

Atp223, I have not taken Prochlorperazine, I don't intend to, thanks for the warning.

Hope everyone is making improvements. I had a fair!y good day yesterday, still have headaches and dizziness but it's manageable. Trying to spend less time on tablet, affects my eyes, but I do need this site for reassurance, it's been a Godsend. Take care everyone!

@susanfeuerstein

at this point I’m willing to try anything. The Dr’s. Just keep testing me for other things, I’ve never had dizziness like this before. In 3 days it’s 7 weeks. I’m nauseous, from this dizziness. Thank you

@drmili43 So sorry you are experiencing ill effects following the vaccine like the rest of us here. I agree it's such a relief to realise we are not the only ones going through this. I hope our messages get through to the powers that be so that these issues can be addressed. Hope you feel well again soon!

I think prochloperazine is given for nausea caused by dizziness, not sure if it works on dizziness alone (I'm not a medic). The anti-histamine based pills such as avomine or Dramamine might work better, but there's discussion on this site of things that have helped others.

I've read some of your posts, it's been going on a long time, how are you feeling now?

It's been 7 weeks for me now (after AstraZeneca), felt awful for first 4 weeks, mostly bedridden, now gradually getting better; have decided I will have the second dose but am still worried about it.

@thenystagmus

thanks for this.  Here in Canada the second shot is 4 months from the first.  So I have time to consider my options re: second dose.

Update: I'm now almost 3 weeks out from 2nd dose, had symptoms since 1st dose on 2/24. Last post I made was about 1 week post 2nd dose. I can say that while I still have constant rocking vertigo, I am far more functional today and feel better. The severe nausea and fatigue has eased up a bit. I can drive some. Taking care of my kids is doable. I still have the constant feeling that I'm on a boat, my pulse races periodically for no reason, my legs and arms feel weak, and I still have some brain fog. Seeing PCP Wednesday, will most likely see an ENT soon, maybe begin some vestibular pt. I tried Vit C, Ibuprofen, etc. Seems like the only thing that helped was time. I still regret rolling the dice and getting the 2nd dose. I will not be getting any booster in the future. Sending you all good vibes. Does anyone else have rocking vertigo, rather than the spins?

@lauriek

Yes! I have the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and exactly one week later woke up with incapacitating vertigo. I could barely stand without holding on to the walls. I'm still going through it and mostly spend my time in bed though the dizziness now is more of a drunk and unsteady feeling. My head feels very full and heavy feeling. This is the only day four for me and I shudder to think that this is going to be long lasting like it is for many of you. I cannot function like this. Going to see my doctor tomorrow. 🙁 wishing everyone well!
