@medee

Hi, Dee!

One idea is to find out, on the website of the large laboratories nearby, what series of tests for MCAS it offers.

There are some labs that can help identify MCAS:

   Histamine

   N-methyl histamine

   Tryptase

   Leukotriene E4

   Prostaglandin D2

   Prostaglandin 11-beta F2 Alpha (11-β-PGF2α)

   Chromogranin A

   Heparin

The test must be conducted less than 4 hours after an MCAS flare.

There are blood or 24-hour urine samples.

Some samples must be immediately cooled and transported to the laboratory.

The analyzes are harvested in special conditions, a few days before they are not used:

- nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen, naproxen and so on)

- heparin products (hepaGel, calciparine, hirudoid, varidoid and so on)

- proton pump inhibitors (omeprazol and so on).

Many tests may need to be repeated.

Those who address MCAS specialists receive a longer list of labs, some of which are chosen individually, depending on the particularities of each.

Some also test:

Tumor Necrosis factor a (TNF α)

   Interleukin 6 (IL-6)

   Serotonin

   ECP

   Interleukin 1

   Interleukin 8

   Interleukin 10

@ivica

The EBV PCR blood test shows if an Epstein-Barr virus infection has reactivated or is chronically active.

After 9 months of this, I finally bought Eastern Pine Needle Tea.

WHY ON EARTH is it helping me?

The theory is that Suramin in pine needle tea inhibits improper RNA replication.  The theory is if this mRNA vaccine is pulling a number on me, Suramin can stop the process.

Suramin is also an antioxidant, detox, and anti-inflammatory but I have taken many antioxidants and many anti-inflammatories and none have had this affect.

So, do I seriously have the mRNA instructions from the vaccine still doing things to me?  Or is Suramin just so capable of cleaning things up that things can finally calm down for me?

Insane.  I resisted buying pine needle tea until now because it just boggles my mind that a pine needle could help cure a crazy vaccine injury.

Keep in mind my symptoms are nerve problems across my stomach, at my side, and up my back.

What other symptoms did you have?

I know we have had a number of recovery stories on here, most of which say they have recovered 90% or so. Does anyone know if these people have recovered 100% and are back to their "normal" self? Like most of you, I am seeing slight improvement but find it hard to believe that I will ever be 100% or "normal" again.

Have you recovered completely?

Hello, no I have not. I have been lingering between 75-85% for quite some time. I saw noticeable improvements around 3.5 months and have been stagnant for a month now. I am almost 5 months out. My main symptoms are headache, light headedness/dizziness, brain fog, fatigue, and occasional tingling in my arms. My symptoms seem to get better as the day goes on and I feel almost normal around 8pm at night. Hoping at the 6 month mark these last remaining symptoms resolve.

Can someone please please tell me this gets better or what I can do to try and help with it. I recieved the first dose of pfizer 14th December 2021 which I was abit reluctant to get not because I'm antivax but because I had covid in June last year and fought it off without the need of a vaccine. However starting a nursing degree in January I was told I needed this shot! It's been 8 weeks since this jab and things keep getting worse....headaches, chronic fatigue, extreme vertigo, blurred vision, burning sensation all in my legs and arms, tingling sensations in my face and tongue, heart palpitations..the list seems to be endless 🙁 I've been given medications that don't do a thing, blood tests, ecgs, ct scan and everything comes back normal! Currently awaiting to see a neurologist hoping to get somewhere with them....this is getting me so down I hate waking up in the morning! I want my body back, my two children need there mammy back 🙁

Maybe extracts are faster effective?

Sorry, I haven't been on this forum for some time. I just had my spine fused at the beginning of January so I was a bit preoccupied recuperating. I would say I'm still good. It's to the point where I feel like I'm back to normal. For physio, I've been walking 30 minutes a day which I couldn't do before my surgery. I feel that the physical activity has also helped me with keeping any residual side effects at bay. Still have tinnitus  though.

What were your symptoms if I may know and how long sid it take to recover?

Severe vertigo a few days after my first Pfizer shot. Ongoing dizzy spells, blurred vision, brain fog, tinnitus and headaches for over 8 months. Took all sorts of drugs and supplements along with numerous visits to specialists and testing. Side effects gradually diminished with time.

@yoki Thanks to you reporting on your second dose i have had mine and it was a breeze compared to the first. I had a smaller prednisone dose - 20 mg for 7 days plus the H1 and H2 histamines and had no recurrence of my symptoms. Thank you.

I'm really glad to hear your second dose was uneventful. Yeah, I may have overdone it with the prednisolone during the second dose. I had some not so nice side effects as I started tapering the dose....
