I have PTSD from my experience with the vaccine. I usually get a yearly flu shot but feel nervous. I’ve never had issues with flu shot but wondering if anyone has had flu shot since vaccine experience and had a reaction from that?

Hi, I had the egg based flu jab on 25th Sep and on the 29th got a terrible attack of dizziness and vomiting! I was dizzy many times since then and extremely nauseous.  Dizzy enough to not be able to move my head or I would be sick!  Has anyone else experienced this with the latest UK flu jab?  It has been totally debilitating and at the moment, I’m not sure I will go for the booster covid jab in December as still don’t feel right after this one!

It is difficult for me to make a correlation but my dizziness/disequilibrium/motion sickness feelings have felt worse since the day I got my flu vaccination. I have had it in the past with no vestibular problems. Not sure whether my vaccine was an egg based one. All I know is it was a "4 strain" flu vaccine. Hope you get better.

@randatlas Hi, wow, that is very interesting as mine was a 4 strain one also!   There must be some connection -   It can’t all be a coincidence!  Of course, if you look up for any connection, there isn’t much information out there but dizziness features as a common complaint or side effect of covid vaccine and I’m sure there are records of dizziness for the flu vaccine too!  I had vertigo previously but 4 years ago and this jab seemed to restart the whole thing! We are guineapigs a lot of the time for these vaccines.  I’m really not sure about the covid booster which is due for me in December as I don’t want to be unwell with dizziness like this again as it has been totally debilitating and exhausting with the vomiting and nausea - especially over Christmas!  I hope you also feel better soon.

Sorry Randatlas, meant to ask, when did you get the flu jab and how soon afterwards did your dizziness get worse?  I had mine 25th of Sep and first dizzy spell 29th Sep and frequently since then!

i think i might have ptsd from it too, and honestly i would not even consider ever getting a flu shot. i never got one before either, but that was basically out of laziness/not seeing the point. now you couldn't pay me enough money to ever get a vaccination again.
