@lmkk I am sure your post will give hope to many 🙂 so pleased things are getting better for you. I think we all had an autoimmune reaction to the jab that caused widespread inflammation aggravating our nerves. It’s odd how some recover over a few weeks & others months, I’d love to know why that is 😞  I had jab 26/6/21 & tingling hands & feet came 6 days later… spread full body but calmed down at 5/6 months. I still have hot tingly feet mostly now & the odd prickly patch feeling in random places… hoping the nerves are healing 🤞🏼

For those that have the tingling, try cold showers.

I start my shower sessions with 1 minute of showering at the coldest temperature, before switching it to a higher temperature. Helped me after the second Pfizer when these symptoms started, and helped me now after these symptoms showed up again 3 weeks since the booster.

You know your needs best 🙂

I only ask because I asked the doc if my nerves are healing would things like these interfere and they couldn't really say not knowing what exactly was happening. But it's good that they didn't interfere because you improved! 😊

I'm having the same thing: Peripheral Nueropathy - nerve tingling, burning in hands and feet. It feels like the circulation isn't working and then I get the feeling in my arms to hands and below my knees to my feet.  I also have bad tinnitus and left ear feels clogged. This got especially worse after the booster. Though, I did have a start of it a month earlier and my doctor thinks I had an asymptomatic covid exposure (6 months after my second shot). The booster made it much worse.  Two things:

1. Has anyone found any help to address this? Help for the tinnitus?

2. Please submit your experience to the national website tracking vaccine adverse events.  This way people can track that this is actually happening:

https://vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.html

Thanks!!!

I was told by a doctor I most likely have a mild variant of Guillian Barre.

Here is a copy and paste of information on recovery from this disorder:

"Recovery from Guillain Barré Syndrome

Recovery from GBS is variable. The general rule for recovery is the same for peripheral nerve injury, which is what occurs in GBS. Peripheral nerves recover one inch per month. Recovery of GBS depends on the amount of damage to the myelin and if it includes damage to the peripheral nerves. Just as GBS ascends the body during the acute phase, it will descend in the same manner during recovery. Some individuals will have recovery within three weeks. Many will have recovery over six to twelve months. Still others may take three years to recover."

Recovery is slower than I would have liked but knowing that it can sometimes take a few years I am just trying to be patient. My hands no longer have pins and needles and it's only mild in my feet. The most important thing is that we are seeing improvement no matter the time frame that means our bodies are definitely healing. We can certainly help the process by eating anti inflammatory foods, hydration, probiotics, and a good all round multivitamin.

Can you tell me how your child is doing NOW? My son is 19 also and we are running in circles trying to find answers. He had his 1st dose of Pfizer in June 2021 and his 2nd Dose - Moderna in Late July 2021

Since about 2 weeks after his first dose (Pfizer) he has has pins and needles all over at random times. Arms legs and torso. It can be mild or severe lasting from a couple minutes to half an hour. We are now seeing specialists because 6 months later its still happening. Lots of bloodwork and now scheduled for an MRI.

Before the vaccine he was healthy and active. Never sick. We have no history of auto immune disorders in our family tree. The internalist we are now seeing thinks its a virus...because its showing these symptoms.

My sister in law is a nurse and right away blamed the vaccine...i laughed it off. Now, after reading these posts I think she may be right. Can anyone help me out with info? Has anyone's symtoms lasted longer than 6 months?

Thank you,

Signed,

A Worried Mom

Hi @rebeccam

I have no history of autoimmune disorders myself or within my family. My pins and needles, numbness, electric stabbing pains began minutes after my first Pfizer jab. Six months later my symptoms are much improved though they do flare up when I'm run down or catching a cold. This is totally normal for Guillian Barre which is what my doctor thinks I developed straight after my jab. As of late August 2021 it has been listed as a "rare" side effect of the jabs including Pfizer. When you next see a medical professional make sure to mention it to them as it is now a known side effect of the jab and see what they say!

Does anyone know what this could mean? Is it good or bad? Or what?
My left side from the waist down is totally numb. The right is a tad better.
But the last day or two, when wobbling down the stairs, whenever my leg (mostly left) for instance touches the wooden treads, it feels sharp or like minute razor pricks. What does this mean? Something hopeful, or....

@lmkk Thank you I will be sure to ask

He is in the middle of bloodwork and an MRI appt waiting game and I just booked him in with a naturopath since most of the people on here seem to be seeing some help with supplements. I'll try anything! He's too young to be dealing with all this. The pandemic lockdowns have already stolen too much from my kids- I'll do anything to prevent them from stealing his health too since he went to get this vaccine to stay healthy in the 1st place!!

  • Thank you for this. It’s certainly eased my mind a bit more especially the bit that says it descends the same way as it started.  Just my feet left to stop lol 🤞🏼

I didn't have anything at my first Pfizer, at my second Pfizer it started to get really weird. Mostly tingling and very tired. Now I had the booster, and same stuff. But a little less serious than after my second.

I had similar symptoms on my right side particularly leg for several weeks after my jab. It eventually went away. It could be painful but I tried to keep active to keep the muscles strong. I think it is the nerves. If I'm standing still too long it still happens occasionally but not as strong as in the beginning.

Finally Pfizer acknowledging these symptoms.......now what are they going to do about it!?!?!

https://www1.racgp.org.au/newsgp/clinical/tga-releases-updated-covid-booster-safety-data

Updated Pfizer product information
The product information for Pfizer has been updated to include the potential adverse events erythema multiforme (a type of allergic skin rash), paraesthesia and hypoaesthesia (tingling and numbness of the skin). These events were reportedly not observed in clinical trials but have been reported during post-market surveillance.

‘Erythema multiforme may appear on the hands [especially the palms] or feet before spreading to other areas,’ the TGA states.

‘The rash is characterised by small round spots that are darker at the centre than the edges. This condition usually resolves on its own, but treatment may be needed for more severe cases.’

Only five cases of suspected erythema multiforme were reported to the TGA up to 2 January.

Meanwhile, paraesthesia (an unusual feeling in the skin, such as tingling or a crawling sensation) and hypoaesthesia (a decreased feeling or sensitivity) have been reported to the TGA for each of the COVID-19 vaccines and are mentioned in about 9% of all reports relating to the Pfizer vaccine.

It is not known why paraesthesia and hypoaesthesia sometimes occur after vaccination, but the TGA suggests they are usually mild and may be a stress-related response to immunisation rather than an immune reaction.

Thanks for this Simo, it feels like a weight lifted off my mind.. I thought I was going mad with anxiety but it now seems it's a real diagnosis albeit a "stress response" which is a bit vague...  I also strongly disagree that the paraesthesia is usually "mild" - constant buzzing in leg all day/night is NOT mild!!

I was also beginning to feel ok after 6mths second dose, had the booster 23/12 and a week and a half later more paraesthesia, just hoping my "stress response" stops responding soon!

I'm so sorry you have to go through all this. This is so cruel now, you had a jab and you don't feel well from it. I shared a link from science.org you can find it a few pages back. Take it to your doctor and if they don't listen try and find another one. I have read that some people were not badly affected by their second but others have been.

Mandatory jabs make me so angry with experimental vaccines.

Their conclusion apparently is that only mass market trials showed some side effects (which is a lie) but either way it's just not on what they are doing to healthy ppl.

I hope you'll be OK.
