Couple of things I forgot.....when this first stated with the sensation in my leg and arm, I also had a numbness/tingling on the right side of my face. It was mostly around lip and lower face. Most recently I had a flat light colored mole on my chest that changed. It gradually crusted over and was red and flaky. A week later it was back to normal. Was worried so went to plastic surgeon. Mole is subcutaneous blah, blah and nothing to worry about. And the change, i was told I must have irritated it.
Hello everyone,
So glad I've found this forum. I've been incredibly anxious, stressed, lonely and depressed for a long time now.
I had my first dose of pfizer 10 weeks ago.. instantly had tiredness and severe neck and back ache. After two weeks this went into my face and the face pain was unlike anything I'd experience. I went to ER and was told it was a Migraine/nerve pain.
Symptoms increased and at week 4 I started having pain and twitching in my left leg. This spread and became widespread. Legs arms back even neck twitches. Internal tremors. Electricity feeling inside my body. Google telling me I have ALS. Terrified. Panic attacks heightened.
Signed off work and my Dr's note said 'pfizer adverse reaction - spasms'
10 weeks in and taking magnesium, b12, vit d and turmeric. Lots of green tea. Muscle twitching still very present. Mainly at night. But melonic jerks have reduced which helps sleep.
Gp today has requested urgent neurology referrel. Waiting list long though.
Bloods and ct scan clear.
Been advised to not have the 2nd jab and even if I hadn't I wouldn't have it.
I wish everyone well xx
I wanted to update that today is Tuesday (got Janssen vaccine Friday). Pins and needle sensation did not go away as I was hoping when I woke up this morning. Instead they’re worse. I went to urgent care who told me to go back to the ER. They did blood tests and a CT scan which came back normal. Waiting to talk to the doctor. I feel like the vaccine messed up my body. Any advice what to ask doctor?
Hi everyone! Sunday August 22 at 3 pm pacific time I received my first moderna vaccine. At first everything went well until night hit around 11pm I had a severe headache and my left arm where I got my shot hurting me severely nothing like other previous vaccine . And it was not in the location where I got the vaccine but my wrist and joints. I had body ache and nausea. Anyhow fast forward Monday August 23rd around 6 pm I payed down with my infant for a nap but I noticed that my both arms and back were numb and tingling. I didn’t put much attention to it as I thought maybe I was mis position. Anyhow the night came in and the numbness and tingling cold feeling radiating all through my legs chest finger and in my arms and back was a lot more intense. Now it’s august 24th 2pm as I’m writing this I haven’t breastfed my baby ever since my vaccine because I’m scared and guess what I’m still numb and tingling and cold . My left arm , my underarms, my chest , my neck my back and left leg numb and tingly and cold. I’m worried and crying because I am not able to hold my baby as I feel weakness when I do. I’m scared because I honestly feel I’ve made the biggest mistake of my life in taking this vaccine !! I was very hesitant not to take it and i now believe I should have gone with my gut instinct. I’m scared if it could be anything serious like a blood clot or something 😢I tell my family and husband and they’re all saying it’s in my head but I swear it’s not. And now that I found this forum I know it’s not in my head and I’m not alone . How are you guys doing . I’m debating now if I should go for my second dose . Has anyone with tingly and numbing gone for their second dose and if they’ve gotten better. Please
Hi , I am going through the same since my first vaccine May 28th , pins and needles in left foot 12 weeks now, and I can feel them slightly in my left arm I am freaked out. Waiting to have an MRI. Fingers crossed that will be ok
@dgingoglia I know you weren't responding to me but I just wanted to chime in and say I'm feeling very similarly. I'll have an okay day--still lots of pain, but not quite as bad--and then very intense days where I feel like my body is collapsing and I genuinely feel temporarily suicidal when the pain is that bad. The burning nerve pain is so unrelenting. I'm sorry we're all experiencing this. If you're comfortable, please do share how your neurologist visit goes. I'm still waiting to set an appointment but, based on responses from other people, my hunch is that everything will come back fine. Who knows though. Hoping we all recover from this soon!
@summer For me it took about 2-1/2 months after the first shot for the numb and tingling headache and nausea to go away.
I couldn't find anywhere that it was acknowledged that this was caused by the vaccine. My doctor suggested it might be a brain tumor. Actually he didn't suggest that outright but when he recommended me for a MRI for my head it was pretty obvious what he was thinking.
Foolishly after 3 months I convinced myself it wasn't the vaccination. And I got the 2nd shot. Mistake! Three weeks later and everything is back. Numb Tingling. Dizzy headache. I want it to end so bad. And I know I am looking forward to another 3 months of this. The numb and tingling is in my stomach too so I am forever nauseous. I've never been sick from a vaccine before. I feel like this is it and I'm going to die. I am spending most all day in bed. That's what happened last time. And now they are talking about a booster. No freaking way. I know people who have gotten covid. They weren't near as sick as I am from the vaccine. And they recovered in a couple weeks.
Hi,
I am so glad I found this forum. I started to experience tightness around my knee on the left side and also my ankle. I had shooting, stinging sensation in them; also the site in my upper back on left side where I had an operation started to sting and get painful. Then it started to spread up my arm and into my hand. I have pins and needles and tightness now in my leg, arm, under arm and neck and I am over 2 months since my 2nd jab. It is so frustrating as I don't know should I attend my Dr or what to do. When I look back I didn't have this before being vaccinated.
Hello all... so a little update.. I saw another Dr today. I've been told there's no more they can do for me until I see a neurologist. Long waiting list but at least I'm on it. They seem to think nerves are misfiring. Anyway... the gut I saw today happens to be based in Cyprus and is part of the European vaccine development programme. He categorically said the problems I am having are vaccine related and that neurological side effects will be noted within the covid vaccine information Panflets as nerve damage is becoming very frequent in patients post pfizer. I couldn't believe it. He found my case very interesting. Don't let anyone tell you it's not related. I've pushed back for 10 weeks now and finally I'm being listened to!
@justvaughn The doctor in the ER also told me that I was being anxious. I agreed with him and said if you thought you were dying or had MS or Parkinson’s you would be anxious too. I felt like they thought I was making it up or it was no big deal. My numbness over the past few weeks has been getting better. It’s far from gone but seems to be in a different spot every day. Let’s keep in touch and share how we are all doing so we can help each other out and get through this.
