@dgingogliaΒ

I can't say it is getting better.Β  Pins and needles come and go on a daily basis. I feel them pretty much everywhere but mostly in the right arm and foot, and in the back and neck. Sometimes they are so strong that it gives burning sensation. I even ended up going to ER twice, in tears...

Sadly I start getting used to having them in my life and integrating them into the new normal.

I had a brain and upper spine MRI today (which on its own was an incredibly scary experience). It did not show any major issues, but problems with spine position that my doctors believe could be responsible for the pins and needles I feel, and that we will try to address with physiotherapy.

In addition to the head MRI I also had lower back MRI, full blood tests, ECG, and a CT of the spine.

My doctors told me most likely the vaccine aggravated the symptoms of my spine and hip position problems that were already there and that I was not feeling before, through some sort of inflammatory reaction. I hope they are right cause it sounds fixable.Β

I know how scary these symptoms can be, I have been going through this since beginning of July! I hope we all get better soon!

@stela that sounds very promising. I too have spine issues that would come up for me regularly but since vaccine it all seems on overdrive. Inflammation seems like an appropriate direction. Please keep us all posted of your progress. Happy thoughts coming your way. 💕

@chrish hey, I am not sure of your symptoms or original post and apologies for just jumping in here but I just wanted to say I feel you! I have spent the last two months convinced I'm either dying with ALS or have MS. My anxiety is out of control. My Dr's originally kept telling me it was my anxiety but I pushed and pushed and now I'm finally being listened to. Good to have people to talk to on this forum to. Xx

@stacie hey Stacie, you really aren't alone. I feel the same and I had one pfizer dose 10 weeks ago ago it's the biggest regret of my life. My symptoms are ongoing and I'm now waiting neurological investigations but the mental health side is just as debilitating as the physical. I went through a few weeks of utter hell. All I did was cry and panic and turn up at hospital convinced I was dying. Now I've calmed down and I'm trying to be logical and take each day as it comes. Please try to focus. Breathe. Take vitamins. Write down your symptoms daily. And talk to us on here should you need someone to talk to. I am a 30 year old mother to a 3 year old. I was in perfect health prior to my jab. I have been advised by 3 Dr's now to NOT get the 2nd dose xx

@larag Wow, that's so interesting! Thank you for sharing. I'm so glad someone finally listened to you. It's so disheartening when professionals (who you've probably waited a while to see and/or paid a lot to visit) are dismissive or at least not open to the connection. I keep searching every day for new headlines on this. I think in a few months time (maybe sooner) we're going to see things emerging, sort of how we saw new info coming out about the blood clots, etc. Maybe by then there will be more information on how to deal with this.

Did that doctor by any chance mention any treatment for this? Did he give you any sense of hope?

@beeaydee exactly. I've seen numerous Dr's but the one today was brilliant. In fact he just phoned me out of the blue saying he is in the hospital now and has spoken to radiology and is going to try to chase me up an MRI SCAN as I'm currently on a waiting list which is about 7 weeks so he is keen to help me after seeing my symptoms. Other than that unfortunately he could offer no suggestions or hope as they just don't know what can happen as the vaccine is so new. I simply have to wait for neurology for further investigation. I have previously been told to take fish oil vitamins and turmeric and magnesium so I have been taken them daily. I've changed deodorant and shampoo etc to limit chemicals coming into contact on my body and drinking lots of water. I'm also having counselling and reflexology to try to relax my anxiety. Xx

@larag Did he say if it will get better or continue getting worse? Is there treatment?

Yesterday I ended up having an MRI too after the CT scan plus my blood panel. Everything looks normal yet my condition is getting worse. Now the pins and needles are on my tongue and eyeballs too which are painful, and getting more painful on my feet and hands, having spread to my left side too. Part of my face is still numb. I am so scared and Janssen was not providing any answers. Dont they know if this is permanent or temporary or how to treat it? Why aren’t they being held accountable?

@larag thank you so much today is three day and it’s not getting better and it has moved up in my face . I cry as I’m seeing my 4 month old trying to go back to Sunday and just not taking the vaccine. I just want to know that it’s going to go away , I want to know nothing worse can happen. I need to know . The doctor just told me waited out and that’s it . But I need answers . 😢😢 I am truly sorry for what you’re going through as well and I wish we all had answers and I’m definitely not taking the second dose . I’m afraid to get paralyzed or a blood clot or something I’m my heart. Idk I’m overthinking it . I guess because I just didn’t expect this outcome and now that it’s bad I’m expecting many thing . 😢😢😢😢

I’ve had a really rough night. Lots of burning in my legs making it difficult to sleep. I’m so tired and tired of this. Just looking for some encouragement. My symptoms have been going on for 4 weeks. I have some good days and then some horrible nights. I feel like I’ve been isolating myself from friends because they seem to be skeptical of my symptoms being that none of them have any. Thankful for this forum or I would feel very alone. Trying to stay positive but that would be easier if I wasn’t so sleep deprived.Β

Hi everyone, been having the same tingling in my hands and legs, 10 days after my first Astrazeneca vaccine. Anyone with Astrazeneca got this issue? Or just Pfizer?

@dgingoglia I feel the same Donna. I am on week 10 now and I've become a recluse because I just feel I have no positivity left in me. It's mentally and physically draining. I have an mri in 5 weeks time. The waiting lists are ridiculously long which adds to the anxiety. Bloods and ct scan clear. Waiting on neurology for the twitching. I hope you feel better soon. Keep us posted xx
