@dgingoglia that's really what I think - that it was just too strong. I wish there were different dosage levels (I always take the lowest dose of everything, and then half it!)
Although, to be fair, I'm not sure if "half-doses" of vaccines work....
@twitch I went to the doctor 3 times during the first month. She told me she wasn't concerned about my long term health and thought I was having a temporary reaction to the vaccine. She gave me the lowest possible dose of a beta blocker to bring my heart rate down and Xanax to help me sleep. Quite honestly though, she we was googling my symptoms as I was telling her! I took 1/2 a Xanax for about 3 nights to help me sleep, and took 1/2 the beta blocker off & on for about 3 months which did seem to help. I haven't taken either in about 2 months now. I haven't gone back to the doctor since because I AM improving significantly. But when I sit still, I can sometimes still feel the random muscle twitches. When I'm stressed or on little sleep, these are worse.
@dgingoglia I haven't met too many people with the complicated migraines. It's so scary! I hope you only get them rarely. Luckily I only get them about once a year on average.
@davec So sorry to hear this! Did you have any issues after shot #1? I hope you start seeing some improvement soon
@dgingoglia I'm sorry - that is awful. I also got one about 2 months ago, and I wondered if the vax contributed to that too.
@jessclaire how long since your shot? How much improvement have you had percentage wise?
@davec So sorry to hear this! Did you have any issues after shot #1? I hope you start seeing some improvement soon
Nothing really after the first shot except for a sore arm. But I do think I did notice that my feet also started feeling colder.
@kdubs Hiya I just wanted to let you know that on 25th August 2021 the UK government listed Giulian Barre(not sure of the spelling) syndrome as a "rare" side effect of nearly all the COVID vaccines so we are not crazy it was the vaccine causing the pins and needles and numbness!
Just wanted to share with you this article regarding a doctor in the USA who has been offering those with severe reactions o the COVID vaccines their doses split over several hours via several jabs. Here is the link:
@beeaydee Hi there! I'm also highly sensitive to meds, certain preservatives in food, scented candles etc! I'm wondering if those of us who have had the pins, needles, numbness etc after the vaccine are effected more with side effects due to our blood group? I'm RH negative meaning my cells don't have protein spikes on them. I do wonder if this could somehow explain our immune response to the jab. There have been several articles in the news since the beginning of the pandemic suggesting that those with Rh negative blood could be less susceptible to covid.
@katia Hiya. I feel what you are saying about worrying about the second dose making the symptoms worse! My pins and needles were starting to ease off around 6 weeks after the first jab. I then got a cold and everything came back really severe so I reckon it was my immune system going crazy again. So worried about the second dose and what's best to do about it!
@eileenwh I noticed this plus I seem to be bruising more easily now and the bruises take longer to disappear.
