Hey There, What Physical Symptoms Of Anxiety Do You Experience?

I often feel very alone in my experience of having physical chest (what I think are heart) spasms and was wanting to create a space for everyone to list their physical feelings that come hand in hand with anxiety so we can all feel less alone.

Hope Everyone Is Well.

Vincente, I've been having all sorts of symptoms since my second vaccination 11months ago, many new ones, and my anxiety is frequent. I sometimes experience it with feelings of fear, urgency. This comes with shaking, muscle twitching, cold (drop in temperature) and a variety of physical symptoms. It can vary from time to time.

That's an awful feeling and I understand your concern. I would talk to a doctor if you're worried about your heart, for reassurance.

Take care,

  • Feeling nervous, restless or tense.
  • Having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom.
  • Having an increased heart rate.
  • Breathing rapidly (hyperventilation)
  • Sweating.
  • Trembling.
  • Feeling weak or tired.
  • Trouble concentrating or thinking about anything other than the present worry.

Any combination of four symptoms, either physical or psychological, can lead to a panic attack diagnosis. Some people have episodes with the same symptoms as panic attacks but with fewer than four symptoms

Anxiety affects our physical health as well as our mental health. I have some anxiety symptoms that physically haunt me very much. Those include shivering, nausea, sweating, a racing heartbeat, breathing difficulties, and occasional chest pain. I think these symptoms may vary from person to person according to their anxiety type.

Anxiety usually ‘attacks’ me in two ways; it’s a quick heartbeat with a body shiver or nauseous feeling and stomach spasms. Sometimes I even have everything at once. Anxiety drives me crazy, and I don’t know how to get rid of it. I can’t normally live, talk to people, or do my chores when I have panic attacks or anxiety

I've thought about seeking help from a psychologist or therapist, but that's a huge step for me. Maybe I should start with suggestions online like https://fherehab.com/anxiety/treatment/ . I have never tried anything to improve my situation. It would be helpful if you could share how you treat your anxiety.

Yes, this is true that anxiety impacts physical as well as mental health. To get rid of anxiety, there are various treatments or medications available. But one unknown fact is that music,e relaxers can also be used to reduce anxious feelings. Muscle relaxers help manage pain to reach the brain producing a calming effect. This property of muscle relaxers such as Soma muscle relaxers can be helpful for anxiety. Read this blog to know more information about it.

Usually this is a lack of appetite and insomnia. A slight tremor also began to appear recently. This adds to the anxiety even more.
