@anonym2 Hello ! I suffered vertigo/brain fog/numbness etc. - a plethora of symptoms. I had an MRI brain done two weeks post onset of symptoms which was clear. Two months post onset of symptoms I had an MRI full spine which was also clear. I take comfort in this, however I do suggest you get scans done as well. To alleviate symptoms, I have found that cutting out caffeine completely and drinking tonnes of water does help. I haven't had dizziness for a single moment since cutting out caffeine. I also take beta blockers each day (80mg half beta prograne) though of course I recommend talking to a professional regarding medication. Hope this helps!

So glad I found this forum! The whole vaccine experience has been a nightmare and I don't even know if I want to take the booster shot at this moment. What's even more frustrating is that most doctors are clueless about how to treat the side effects smh.

Took my second Pfizer dose on 5/25 and was fine for the first 5 days other than a sore arm that went away in 2.5 days. Was so happy that I may have dodged a bullet, but knowing me, of course I didn't. Starting on the 6th day, I experienced debilitating disequilibrium (I felt extremely unbalanced like I will fall down any minute and I felt I was being pulled to one side), extreme heavy head, extreme brain fog and occasional headache. I also feel like my heart rate is elevated. After a couple days of these, I also woke up to extreme pain in my neck/trap area. I didn't equate the stiff neck to the vaccine directly, but having seen a couple posts about it, I'm not so sure. I thought it was just me being so dizzy that I was trying to use my neck to compensate, I don't know.

Anyway, its now been a week since my symptoms started and I feel a tiny bit better from last week but still nowhere close pre-vaccine. Still pretty fatigued along with other symptoms. I've been resting alot and drinking lots of water and watching tons of tennis to distract myself. Sigh, hope this passes soon.

Thus far, I've added the following:

-Vitamin C 1000mg

-Zinc 25mg

-Advil

-Claritin (Claritin seems to help the most at the moment. I know because I take it at night because it makes me drowsy and I wake up feeling pretty good. Then when it wears off in the afternoon, I feel like crap).

I will look to add Quercetin and Glutathione in the near future and will report back.

I hope everyone hangs in there and do what you can for self-care. Hope all this crap passes for us soon!

@dizzyfromvaccine hi!  How much is excessive?  Can you send report link?  Thanks!

Are you talking about glutathione?

I dont know. I was told to get the 250 mg (2 capsules = 250 mg) capsules. The bottle said to take 2 a day. But I was prescribed to take 1 capsule (125 mg) 2x a day at same time as 30 mg zinc.  Plus the glutathione.

I had my first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine about 10 days ago. Had fever, chills, and body ache for couple of days but started feeling dizzy and numb sensation in different parts of the body almost every day from about day 4. I went to ER first but the place I live is currently backlogged with cases so returned home with no luck; then went to a doc a day after, but he refused to write any tests for blood work or scans to rule out anything serious when I expressed my concerns w.r.t clot reports. He said it's probably some "nervous reaction" to the vaccine (very comforting, huh?) and I should still plan to take the second dose, when asked. 😑

My neck feels stiff and the dizziness seems to get worse when I lean forward to work on my computer etc. Also, I tend to feel more dizzy when I'm in tight spaces (e.g., my bathroom). Today I had a sudden bout of dizziness and headache from my phone alarm, and been feeling uneasy since I woke up.

I've had other symptoms too but this one doesn't seem to go away.

I filed an adverse reaction report with AZ and also followed up via. email but no one even cared to get in touch with me.

Going to see another doc tomorrow. I hope this is not something serious and goes away soon. Never felt so anxious and uneasy.

Good for you for filing an adverse reaction report. I filed one as well fir pfizer. It’s a good way to help. If they dont have the information centralized they can say it’s just “anxiety” or “coincidence.”  If enough people report similar reactions then they will eventually take a closer look.

oh and you couldn’t pay me enough to take the second dose.

I don’t have a report link. I was given by a dr to take this. Another person did post an article earlier in the thread about glutathione and the immune system.
For me it was miraculous in getting to a recovery but it may not be right for everyone.

On April 1st I got my first COVID Phizer vaccine. I’m 71 female, no illnesses in good health, take no meds. 3 weeks after the vaccine my left leg goes numb and I can’t walk. Scary!  Thought I was having a stroke. Lasted 10 minutes and went away.  Nothing more until last week of May and got 2 more similar episodes each lasting 10-15 minutes then feeling comes back to leg. Also before numbness I get light headed first then know it’s coming. May 31 I get it again outside on patio and can’t stand up and fall down now I’m feeling some numbness in my left arm. So my husband takes me to hospital. They do a cat scan and find nothing. Bloodwork good. EKG good. Blood pressure good. Doctor tells me I’m have mini strokes. I ask if vaccine caused this and he says no. It’s common in my age group.  Sent me referral to a stroke prevention clinic. Still waiting on getting an appt to go and find out what is causing this. I have now had 7 episodes all the same. I also feel Like my head is full or heavy and I have a headache in the front of my head. Anyone else experiencing similar symptoms after receiving vaccine? I’m suppose to get my second dose next Saturday and I’m afraid to do that now.

All vital signs good . It’s scary you don’t hear of these things unless you start looking on forums like this one

Similar vertigo, dizziness, inability to concentrate or even focus. Couldn't bear the sunlight. Three days in bed, not eating. No fever, but felt very ill. Had to crawl on hands and knees to go to the bathroom. This was about 7 weeks after 2nd Pfizer Covid vaccination. Three weeks on, I still feel odd going out and crossing the road. Very unsettling, but interested to learn I am not alone.
