I had the Pfizer COVID vaccine May 1 and had my second one exactly two weeks later as recommended. I had no side effects after either dose.

@jkennedy1979 I mean let’s look at our collective symptoms, they are all pretty much the same. I spoke to a friend of mine about how I was feeling like rocking on a boat and other symptoms like sensitivity to light, nausea and anxiety symptoms like chest discomfort etc. She said oh I suffered with Labyrinthitis as a kid, that’s what it is! So I looked at Wiki and it gave me the following info which is pretty much spot on.

“Labyrinthitis, also known as vestibular neuritis, is the inflammation of the inner ear. Vestibular neuritis derives its name from the labyrinths that house the vestibular system which senses changes in the head's position or the head's motion. This results in a sensation of the world spinning and also possible hearing loss or ringing in the ears. It can occur as a single attack, a series of attacks, or a persistent condition that diminishes over three to six weeks. It may be associated with nausea, vomiting and eye nystagmus. The cause is often not clear. It may be due to a virus but it can also arise from bacterial infection, an allergy or as a reaction to medication.”

Maybe this is actually what we have in sudden attacks as a reaction to the vaccine and it will go away on its own over time. It makes sense right? Looking at the side effect data for Astrazeneca vaccine for this month alone thousands have reported it as a side effect. It will go from being an uncommon side effect to common I think! Let’s hope this is all it is and it WILL GO AWAY!

Wish you well soon x

@ladyd

Wow...that description pretty much sums up what ALL of us have...I don't have dizziness but I got the ear ringing and the ear pressure...I hope for us all that this is NOT long lasting...

@tabby 100% they were trying to convince me that post vaccine anxiety was causing all of my symptoms. Absolutely infuriating when it’s the other way around! They listened eventually and I guess it’s a process of elimination for doctors. Got to try to take control of this anxiety though when it rears up and not read too much online either because that makes it worse. Let’s face it none of us are doctors, nobody really knows what’s going on, doctors included and we are all different. All we do know for sure are the facts that the vaccine trial data clearly states many other people had these symptoms afterwards, we got unlucky and just have to get used to living with this and finding and sharing things that help us and using this forum for support until the symptoms go away which I believe they will.

We need to support each other with sharing helpful information, positive thinking, actions and advice. I think we are all upset and angry but at least we don’t have covid, we have our lives and although it’s upsetting that we have been left unsupported with nowhere to turn we do have each other on here at least and it’s vital we give each other some sort of hope!x

Hi LadyD, you did well in finally getting your doctors attention, some just don't like to be told. I absolutely agree with you, if it wasn't for this forum I think I'd have gone mad by now. Anxiety is a problem for me too, these symptoms from the vaccine ramps it up. If I feel it coming on I drink water, the theory being that you don't breath when you drink and therefore it slows down your breathing. That followed with slow breathing usually helps me. I also carry a tin of rescue pastilles with me and an olbas oil nasal inhaler that comes in a tube. It all helps me a little. Best wishes😊

@tabby I feel your pain and there’s some helpful tips there. I’ve been using the 333 method but doesn’t work for long!

@gingerjones exactly same here, so after reading this and seeing the vaccine data I think I’ll just have to give my body time to work it out and try to reduce the anxiety in the meantime because otherwise it’s a vicious circle!

@thenystagmus Hi, yes, that's question we're all asking isn't it "why". I doubt whether they will say there is a connection with the vaccine, seems to me that topic is taboo. Hopefully your MRI will give you the answers you need to speed your recovery.

I'm pleased for you that your Covid19 antibody test came back negative, another thing less to worry about.👍

I did have a better night last night thanks, I feel better this morning for it too.

I am of the opinion that the vaccine has caused an inflammatory response and I am personally working on that theory because it gives me hope that it will eventually subside.

Someone here, Sunshine I think, has recently posted about Gregory A. Poland, MR who contracted tinnitus after the vaccine. It's a good read, he believes these symptoms are "inflammatory responses that will disappear completely or considerably diminish over time".🙏😊

Good morning, Tabby ... although I think it's afternoon for you in the UK... 😊 I'm glad you had a better night! I'm getting this deeper-seated exhaustion with not sleeping well. I think my brain is trying to sort out the erroneous information coming from my right vestibular system even while I'm asleep. I'm hoping to be called that the pharmacy has gotten my Medrol script today, but I know I can't just keep doing the steroid dose packs.

I've gotten weary pushing my view that it seems my vaccination triggered this plight, so I didn't bring it up again yesterday. Although, I would like the doctor to theorize my disease process, I don't know if that will happen even after my MRI. I did have a concussion 45 years ago that put me in the hospital for 5 days with symptoms similar to now for over a month and I wonder if damage will show from that.

I was warned that if I had Covid in March 2020 it was possible my antibodies may have waned to an undetectable level, so I'll probably never know if I had it back then for sure.

I think the inflammation therapy quite plausible ...don't know how that figures into autoimmune reaction theory, and then the reactivation of herpes simplex or the shingles herpes variety intrigues me also. Whatever has gone haywire for us, Yes, we are all banking on this going away ASAP! 🤗

So last night  and continued today it seems my symptoms have gone right back to how they were. I had less ear fullness and head pressure, dizziness had eased a little and the nightmares had stopped.  Now I am right back in the worst again with chest pain, nightmares, heart palpitations, dizziness, stomach pain with nausea and vomiting, joint and muscle pain. Not been able to achieve my goals today as feel too unwell. I really thought I was improving a tiny bit but it seems I was over optimistic. I'm hoping it's just a bad night and day and will improve tomorrow. No point in seeing anymore Dr's as one I spoke to yesterday insisted it was not vaccine related but anxiety which I needed to treat by being more positive. Even told me to drink less fluids so I didn't have to go to the toilet in the night as I said I struggled with dizziness when trying to lie down or sleep. Told me to enjoy the dark quiet  night! Nights are my dread as have nightmares and cannot lie down as worsens dizziness.

Sorry for non positive post but today its just got me low.

 Take care everyone and speedy recovery to you all x

@lukenick i'm the same, the last week or so i've been experiencing them in both eyes - worse in bright settings. so strange, can't seem to find a remedy for them online - hope they spontaneously disappear?

I have floaters too but I've had some before the vaccination.  I'm afraid floaters are permanent. You will eventually learn to ignore them.

True, your brain will probably learn to ignore them. I've had them for a long time and they're evidently significant enough that my optometrist expressed a bit of surprise that my brain has been successful in suppressing notice of them.

Update: after 7 days of taking the supplements and a round of antibiotics I am back to square one, woke up today feeling extremely dizzy.  How much longer will we have to suffer before we are heard?

Til the cows come home?!! 😐

Sorry, but I couldn't resist! That "herd immunity" business really gets under my skin!

I'm going through relapse to square one again also and hating it! Seems like a cruel game of Chutes and Ladders! I so want to learn how to navigate it without this sliding back ridiculousness! 🥴

@thenystagmus

saffrass,

this morning I lost my peripheral vision in both eyes for the first time. After your mentioning this, I’m curious if anyone else has had the same happen.

I haven't ...so, is it still gone, or was it temporary?

@thenystagmus

It returned shortly after I noticed. I was online and concentrating when I noticed it. I checked it out by putting my hands by my ears and moving them forward to determine when I could see them and it took at most five mins. Sorry I recalled it was you  must have been in another post 😔

@thenystagmus I meant heard as taken seriously by our physicians that keep telling us this is not vaccine related. I decided to take the vaccine because all my friends did and I wanted to finally be able to see them and my parents, I am unable to do either at the moment. Glad you find humor in the "heard immunity". Just read an article today that Covid and vaccination is something we will have to deal with for years to come.

Hi All,

Been reading some of the updates from some of you on here and it's so sad to hear others are really struggling.

All of my symptoms that I was struggling with have now faded asides from the Tinnitus (6 weeks exactly since vaccine - AZ).

And im STILL waiting for my referral to the ENT specialist.

Being someone that runs 30-50 miles per week I've recently had a few 'inflamation' niggles.

Namely Achillies tendonitis and also some unusual aches in my glute muscles.

Im convinced that what we are all experiencing with our various issues is indeed an inflamatory response to the toxic ingriedients in the vaccines.

The big question is whether or not this will fade over time or if the symptoms persist or lead to other more dangerous and long term conditions.

Logic would dictate that the effects will wain over time (3-6 months) and I suspect we all need to start paying particular attention to what we eat during that time.

Anything that is naturally anti inflamatory and fights toxins is a good place to start.

I suspect that our issues and symptoms are for things we already had, but were probably dealing with without symptoms but the vaccine has manifested them ten fold to the point where we are now being made aware that there are problems there.

Who knows in the long run, maybe this is doing us all a favour and were getting to address potential underlying issues NOW, before they became serious health issues ?

Just trying to find a bit of positivity.

Since taking B12, Zinc, Magnesium, Bromelain and Ginki Biloba I do feel better.

Im not convinced the Quercetin helps me, if anything my symptoms seem worse with Quercetin so I'm not taking that now my'n had added Vitamin C too.

The Tumeric tablets help with sleep but Im not feeling much from them otherwise.

Hope this helps others.

All in all asides from the niggles, even my Tinnitus is not really bothering me too much now and im close to being how I was pre vaccine.

P.S caffeine and sugar are your enemies !
