@gingerjones  agree with you. I have to believe I will get better and seems that some members haven't been on the forum for a while so I believe they must have recovered x

@thenystagmus

  Now I love animals and would likely keep a cow in our one  bed apartment if my boyfriend  allowed me! However even the offer of a free cow wouldn't persuade me to take another vaccine! Mooooooo! X

It's sad that for these people this might be comparable to winning one of the high-stakes vaccination lotteries going on in the US. In the article there was someone changing their mind, deciding to get vaccinated in order to give the lottery a try, saying the outcome was up to God. And the intro photo ...that woman looks so fearful!

(You might enjoy a metaphorical dream about a cow & Covid vaccination that I had about a month ago... You could locate it by putting the word "symbolism" in the search function at the top of any page.)

@rachie same here. I had flu like symptoms and headaches after the first shot lasting 7 days but was told the second shot was nothing compared to the first so I had the second one then 4 days later the nightmare began 😩 x

In theory, shouldn't our bodies heal in time?  What would prevent our bodies from healing?

@lexie111 I’m so sorry to hear this. I do feel for you. Mine also started 4 days after my second shot. How are you feeling now? Praying it’s resolved itself 🙏🏼

I’d be interested in knowing this too as I’m still having the same head pain three months later that comes and goes. Weird. Never experienced it before Pfizer vaccine. A real pain in the petunia. 😤

So an update, my Dr prescribed gabapentin to help with pain and anxiety but now has changed it to pregabalin which is a faster acting version of gabapentin. Pregabalin and gabapentin are drugs used for epilepsy, nerve pain and off label anxiety. I have been prescribed a low dose of 50mg at night. I had my first full night's sleep with no nightmares last night - unbelievable how much I needed that! However am still dizzy this morning, have some blurred vision which are side effects of this drug, but seeing as I'm dizzy and blurred vision currently anyway I figured what the heck! It has also helped with my anxiety and worry regarding my vaccine side effects, just kind of calmed me a bit not completely relaxed but taken the edge off my anxiety. My pain seems more bearable although still there it seems that now I'm not so tense the ibuprofen works better.

Now my thinking is if this vaccine has caused nerve inflammation and pregabalin works for nerve pain then. it makes sense it's helped me.

I have read up on pregabalin and have found it can be addictive and some people have found they need to keep increasing doses for the effects to last. It also not suitable for anyone who has or had drug dependence.

My plan is to stick with the low dose of 50mg at night to help me sleep, ease my pain and take edge of my anxiety so I can cope better with these side effects which hopefully recede with time. Then I will reduce my pregabalin dose and come off them.

Not suggesting this drug pregabalin is for everyone as we are all different but just wanted to put it out there so that if you wanted to you could talk to your Dr about it. I know it has helped me a little BUT it's a drug to be used with caution as can be addictive or abused, however if discussed with dr and used appropriately it may be of help.

Wishing you all a quick and full recovery xx

Recap: 1st Pfizer on 4-16, dizzy since 4-19. Many doctor appointments, antibiotics, steroids, ENT specialist, CT scan, blood work. None of that solved anything.

After someone here suggested, I started taking glutothione, quercetin and zinc. Pill form. Did that for a week and didn’t notice improvement. Then I bought some glutothione in liquid form from Amazon. Starhonor brand. Been taking it for a week along with the zinc and quercetin and I have been feeling pretty good. Huge improvement with the dizziness and I have a lot more energy. I have a four month old baby at home and it has been tough not being able to help with him very much.
I can’t say for sure it was the supplements that have helped or if it was just time. I’m not an expert but I am going to keep taking them. I am not at 100% yet but I would say 75%. I feel good most of the time now.
I wanted to share my experiences with these supplements because it might help you guys. I am 38 and generally healthy. Everyone take care!

I was dizzy for 5 weeks. Then I started the supplements in the evening. I woke up 50% better next day. By second day i felt completely better. It’s now been about 2.5 weeks that I feel good. I started to drive again. Im not taking the supplements anymore, although I may start a general health maintenance dose.

i actually went on a boat and felt a bit weird for a day. But now Im ok.

Hey guys! This is the 3rd day I'm taking the SERC pills for vertigo that the doctor prescribed and absolutely no improvement, in fact I feel like it's gotten a little worse yesterday. I'm usually riding a motorcycle around the city (living in Spain), but now I can't do that anymore.. Today is the 6th day of dizziness and tomorrow will be exactly 2 weeks after the J&J vaccine.

I'm not happy others are going through this but it's good to see it's actually a pretty common thing. I believe it affects people who have any kind of problem with the inner ear. I'm 28 and I also have a slight problem with my left ear in general, sometimes when I do sports I tend to hear my breathing in my head, but this usually goes away as soon as I stop and the pulse goes down. I never had dizziness because of it or pain or anything like that. In fact I never felt dizzy ever, except for obvious reasons (like alcohol) and it's really strange that all of sudden exactly 7 days after this vaccin I started feeling dizzy for 6 days straight and on going.

Hope it goes away soon, hang in there everyone!

My reply didnt post. Weird.

Anyway I tried to say Im glad youre feeling better! It’s never easy with a young baby. It seems others are not having the 2 day recovery I had but are doing better over the longer period of taking supplements. I wish I knew why?!

@elena I had exactly the same. I've occassionally noticed mild tinnitus when I was younger but barely noticed it (only when it's very very quiet).

Post Astra Zenica I had a big bout of it (couldn't focus on anything else). I thought it eased off but it's been persistant for several weeks now. It's affecting my work as I struggle to focus on my clients over the ringing.

I am nervous about my second vaccine as i'm reading more about tinnitus being a side effect.

How are you getting on?

@lukenick

I have to believe in my heart that we will all be fine and eventually recover. If COVID long haulers can recover so can us vaccine long haulers.

The vaccine is not re writing our DNA or anything like that. We will all get better. I truly believe that.

I am with you 100% on that one.  We will ALL get better.  It is just a matter of time...and believing this, has gotten me so much better mentally
