@thenystagmus yes that was my experience. I am thinking about just skipping prednisone all together this time. Not sure it really does much if the inflammation comes back so quickly after I stop. Ugh. It’s tough. I actually took 20mg this morning just to see if I notice a benefit. Nothing yet but probably too soon to tell anyway. I will try to update when I can. I am also on Humira which is why I got the second shot - I actually suspect it might help this issue by calling down the inflammation a bit.

but the good news is I was fully better by about 8 weeks after shot #1! And I am now 100% positive this was caused by the shot. Which sucks but at least is clear. My ENT said it is an autoimmune attack on inner ears.

So, are you now dealing with symptoms again after getting a second vaccine?

I'm still waiting to do an MRI to rule out all the stuff that could show. Yes, ugh ...but in the meantime I'm trying to find what may help, pushing through it one day at a time. 😏🙏

Hello all,

It gives me so much comfort to learn I am not alone is what is happening.

I am 25 years old, female, 5'1, 130 pounds. I consider myself an active and healthy woman. I got my second dose of Pfizer on April 28th. When I first got it, I didn't have a bad reaction, mild body aches but some advil fixed that up. It's been a few weeks/a month or so. And About 3 weeks ago I started feeling awful. I was getting terrible head tension, brain fog, derealization, I was not feeling normal what so ever and I still don't. It was a rough start, I had to go to the ER on June 7th, they did a CT and everything was fine. They prescribed me Hydroxyzine for the anxiety and butalb-caf,accep for the head tensions.

I have a normal life, the same life stresses I always have (which I wouldn't even consider hard stress) I live a good life and I have ruled out these symptoms from possibly everything else associated with another illness. I went to the eye doctor because I can barely stand putting my glasses or contacts on. Everything came back normal, just have a slight change to my prescription. My brain/head feels so weird, I can't even be left alone in my thoughts.

It has been giving me so much anxiety, because nothing is working, so bad to where I had to go on Zoloft. I really think something happened after the vaccine to where my body is having an extended fight or flight response. I also tested positive for Covid back in September but I was asymptomatic.

I feel the same, now I don't have the headaches. I just started taking Zoloft, I am not one to take medication but it got that bad I had to. I am still suffering, I don't feel much better, is anyone in the same boat? I'm scared to the point where I can't even be in my own apartment. Currently staying with my parents so I can be around them and feel safe. I hope this stops soon. I cry every day from frustration because I don't feel like myself. I am a social and outgoing person and all of this has left me scared to go out.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to give you an update. I’m now on day 3 of the supplements plus Betahistine.

I would say I am feeling 50% better already but I’m only taking the doses as recommended on the products not the dosages others on here have taken.

I’ll update again once a week has passed and let you know how I’m doing then.

Sending you all best wishes for a full recovery very soon x

@moscraciun32 I would recommend you contact a doctor to help you in dealing with your symptoms. Many here also have symptoms after their Covid vaccination. I would recommend that you contact a doctor to help you understand if anything else is going on and to possibly help you in dealing with your symptoms. I hope you're feeling better soon!

@hope123  It took me about two months, but I am feeling nearly 100% back to my pre-vaccine self. All of my dizziness and vestibular issues have totally resolved. My neurologist did believe my issues would resolve in time, and he was right.

I have also read stories of improvement and recovery on this forum, so there is definitely hope. Some people's issues may be longer-lasting, unfortunately, but everyone's recovery time will vary based on his/her individual condition. I've said this before, and I continue to believe that it is extremely important for people to consult with qualified medical professionals to rule out other conditions that may be causing their symptoms. This will help determine whether one's symptoms are related to the vaccine and not another medical condition that might require different medical intervention. That said, it's important for people to find doctors whose advice they trust--and to seek second opinions if necessary.

Sending best wishes to everyone still feeling unwell, as I know how hard that is, but I do believe that recovery is possible, even if it takes some time.

I will also be leaving the forum after this post as I've shared whatever information I believe could be helpful to others experiencing similar issues, and don't think there is much more I can add at this time.

I appreciate everyone sharing their stories. It has helped me get through a difficult time, and I hope I have helped others do the same.

Keep the faith for better times ahead!

Thank you! And I wholeheartedly agree with your advice.

I'm happy for your recovery and wishing you continuing health 🤗

@wynnwolter Yes! It feels so weird to go out, I can't stand it. I can manage in my house. When I go outside, I just feel confusion.

@moscraciun32  I think you should see a medical professional if you still aren't feeling well. You can decide about the 2nd shot once you are better. Hope you feel better soon

@dathrower Please do not despair! You are not going crazy. You are not alone in this. I believe your family and your doctor are suggesting you get a second vaccination because you are important to them and they care about you - but I understand your feelings (of repulsion?) to doing that. I myself will not have further vaccination. I hope you will find the acceptance of others in your life for your choice about that.

I know this issue and your health issues at this time seem so large, but you have much investment in your life to this point and have potential to recover your health and find yourself enjoying your life in the future. Please DON'T choose to end your life at this time. I'm a survivor of my mother's suicide and I know the void left by someone that makes this choice in a time of trouble.

Please contact your counselor and anyone else you trust to help you deal with this. And feel free to write here, anytime day or night. There are others here from all around the world and we're all here for you and each other.

We're in this together and we don't want to lose you. Please stick around!! 😔🙏

@gingerjones oh it has put my mental health through the ringer. I tried to work through it with just therapy but finally decided to get on anxiety meds! Sometimes I get confused if my symptoms are flaring up again because my anxiety is SO bad or if it’s lingering symptoms from the vaccine!?
