Ok, sooo, I'm trying to process this.

We have a variety of Covid-19 vaccines. A lot of us chose to get them, to protect ourselves from this coronavirus, right?

But now there are increasing efforts to influence those that have not gotten them to get them. The stated reasoning for this? To protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated...?

But, wait, didn't those that chose to be vaccinated do so to protect themselves? I really thought that is what a vaccine is for, to protect those vaccinated?!

These vaccines must not be that great at being a protective measure, after all?!

Too bad there doesn't seem to be any effort being put forth to revise these vaccines to where those that get them in the future are protected from the adverse responses we're talking about here that are consuming our health, our days, our lives.

Having vaccine injury, I need protection from further exposure to these so-called protective vaccines!

Again, vaccinating the unvaccinated to protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. Wow. Sigh....

All I keep hearing about the vax is "It's safe!  It's effective!  It's free!  Why wouldn't everyone want it?!"  WTH?!  I seriously doubt that something with the potential to cause long-term disabling side effects--possibly permanent damage--and even death--and has unknown long term effects meets the definition of "safe" by anyone with any common  sense.

Effective?  To a degree, perhaps.  But it doesn't stop one from becoming ill or prevent transmission.  Not effective enough, that's for sure especially considering the risks.

Free?  Well, the shot itself is free but for those who suffered severe side effects--what about the financial impact of medical care and lost wages?  And what about the impact caused by both financial loss and suffering to people's lives?   This has to be the most expensive "free" thing in the history of the world.

And they just cannot or will not--most likely will not--see why there are those who refuse and continue to refuse.  🙄 SMH

What this once-great country has become is truly frightening.

Hi! I’ve never posted on a forum ever, but my experience after my first Moderna shot has been so scary I would really like some help.

I received the shot a little over a month ago. Within hours I developed blurred vision in my left eye and trouble moving my eyes.

I now still have these issues, as well as tingling and weakness in my limbs, Hand tremor, the feeling of sandpaper in my eyes, chest, and leg nerves, head fullness, pulsating in my head/neck/limbs and some ocular migraine.

Quickly losing the ability to function on my own. Went to the ER twice and the eye doc that said things were normal but it feels like my body is freaking out. I was a very fit and independent person before this.

Anything anyone has found that has helped?

I'm so glad to have found these forums, everyone's input has helped tremedously. Its a lot of work to go through so many pages, but worth it to find nuggets of useful information.

I'm M/50's and I already follow a low histamine diet and have other allergies. I got the first pfizer shot about a month ago and I have not been the same since. Within the first hour I had numbness and tingling in the receiving arm. Since then I have had vertigo, muscle spasms, numbness, tingling, brain fog, poor sleep, hypertension, pain, and extreme tiredness. For the first three days I was really tired but got exhausted after eating full meals, so I would then just eat many small meals throughout the day and then drink gatorade in between to give me some alertness. I already had tinitus and occasional vertigo, but the shot made it worse.

The only relief I've found was with: Magnesium, Claritin, Ibuprofen, gatoraid, Benedryl (12.5 mg for sleep) and B complex vitamins. I read someones post here suggesting the magnesium, so I tried that first and it stopped the muscles from spasming so much (so thank you to who ever posted that!). I slowly kept uping the amount of Magnesium and I figured if I got diarreha then I took too much. I'm taking a 250mg magnesium oxide tablet with 99mg potassium at Breakfast, lunch, dinner and before bed. I also stopped drinking milk since that has calcium and D3 in it, I read that too much calcium offsets the balance with Magnesium. Also, I tried taking D3 and felt like crap afterwards, then I read that D3 helps in the uptake of calcium, so I stopped taking the D3.

The claritin was really helpful to reduce the tingling on my skin and nerves. I used three, 5mg (half dose) spaced out over twenty four hours, for four days, then weaned down to nothing, so far only minor tingles here and there. But a day or so after stopping the claritin, I got really tired again and I think that is because my body is using the energy to make more antibodies. So maybe the antihistamines are just delaying the reactions. I read a post here, that they remembered on the day of their first shot they took antihistamines for poision ivy and had no issue with the first shot, but had issues with the second shot. That clue lead me to try the clairitin during the day.

The B Complex vitamin helped reducing the pounding in my heart and veins, and aleviated the anxiety. I will keep going with the B Complex daily since I probably should have been taking it everyday anyway. One of the worst experiences was when I got hypertension and esophogial spasms at the same time, I thought I was having a heart attack. I had to chew up a magnesium tablet and swallow it with minimal water, but that did the trick for the esophogial spasms. My doctor as a kid used to always give me a shot of B vitamins whenever I visited him, so maybe he was on to something.

I started regularly drinking more water and then I started to feel worse. I think I was just diluting out my electrolytes, so now I just drink water as I feel thirsty.

My neurologist was pretty much useless, it took a week to see them and only online since I wasn't "fully vaxed" for an in-office visit. My doctor said they were fine with my approach to my symptoms but didn't offer any other meds or offer blood work. They did want me to delay the second shot a few more weeks to make sure my symptoms were going away before hand. At best I feel about 70% back to normal but still have aways to go to get that last 30% back. I saw an allergist too, and again, pretty much useless... told me to take tylenol. I later figured out why these doctors are not helping, but its political, so I may post that separately.

My work requires both doses of the vax and I'm nervous about getting the second shot, so I pretty much have no choice in the matter to get the second one. Hopefully, the above supplements should help me get through it.

I may repost this in another forum here, since there are multiple forums on this subject that others may or may not see.

@isismadec I actually read some doofus on social media say "why are so many people spending so much money on supplements when the vaccine is free?". I kid you not.

First of all, nothing is "free". Big pharm isn't doing this out of charity as our tax dollars are making them fat and rich. Secondly, everyone should be taking supplements as our immune system was designed to fight viruses and keeping it at a supreme level of function should be the first message the CDC should be delivering. And now Pfizer is developing a daily pill to take on top of the vaccines that don't work? How much will that cost both monetarily and physically?

I have a appointment with an eye doctor next week, but I'm afraid to go because they'll be using drops which enlarge my pupils and make my vision blurry for awhile.

Normally I wouldn't be afraid of this, but I'm afraid it won't go away because my body reacts so differently now and my vision was really blurry the first few weeks. (Now I'm dealing with painful eyes when waking up and sometimes during the day).

Could use reassurance from somebody who went to see an eye doctor but had the effect go away after a couple of hours.

I've not had this done since having the Covid vaccine, but it's been part of my yearly eye exams for a lot of years.

When they put the drops in your eyes to dilate your pupils during your exam, they can see into your eye better, but you will have blurry vision and light will bother your eyes for a while afterwards, so you will want a driver and you'll also want to wear sunglasses until the effects wear off.

It's always had a temporary effect on me. I would expect it would for you also. Best wishes!

@aurelia I did. It was 2 months after the first shot. I was nervous, but my symptoms didn’t worsen during the 3 hour flight. I hope that you have the same experience. I brought Dramamine along in case I experienced symptoms.

@anotherone92 I have just found this forum and I am so thankful. I totally agree with you on the psychological symptoms. I seem to have these bouts of severe irrational anxiety and the feeling I am about to literally go crazy and then they suddenly subside. I thought they were anxiety and panic attacks but I have had panic attacks previously as this does not feel at all similar. You are not alone. I totally understand what you mean!!

I absolutely believe you.  Some of the stupidity I read and hear in regards to the vax is just unbelievable. You can't fix stupid.

Hi everyone, I am new here but want to say thank you to all that have posted. I feel you have saved my sanity and I am not alone. I literally have felt like I am going crazy these last 3 to 4 months. I am a 39 year old female, no medical conditions, healthy and active. No allergies and in good health. I had the Moderna shot May 19. Immediately I felt strange. I am not afraid of needles or anything and have had vaccinations before with no effects, but when I had the shot it literally burned. By the time I got home I was feeling spacey so went to bed and slept it off. Woke up the next day and my arm was so sore even my clothes touching it hurt. The following day I was on a video call at work and a wave of extreme nausea came over me and dizziness. I finished my call and decided some fresh air might help so I went for a walk. About 5 minutes into the walk my legs started to feel strange and my brain felt disconnected from my body. Then I started to have some blurred vision so I went back home and decided to lay down. Then my face and lips started tingling and going numb along with my arms and legs. My husband called an ambulance. They came and said I was not having a stroke or heart attack and said I was having a panic attack. To be clear, I have suffered from anxiety in my early 20s. This was not a panic attack. I was breathing normally, no hyperventilation. It was not anxiety. So instead of being taken by ambulance, my husband took me to urgent care. All blood work, ecg and tests were normal. Went home and had the same bouts of dizziness, nausea and tingling and numbness for the following two weeks throughout the day. After about 4 weeks, I started having dizziness and equilibrium issues. My legs would feel like they were not fully grounded and like I might fall. I have been having regular headaches, unexplained heart palpitations even when sitting or resting. I have had major back and joint pain, mostly in my legs, knees and feet. And the most uncomfortable symptom are these unexplainable waves of panic and adrenaline. The fight or flight response. Also the feeling that my head is woozy or a drunk feeling without having a drink. And the feeling that I am literally going crazy. Sometimes it lasts for a few minutes sometimes a few seconds and then it is suddenly gone. As mentioned, I have had anxiety in my 20s and this is NOT a normal anxiety attack. It is out of nowhere even when I am at home just reading a book. It is so strange. I have been to my doctor a couple times now and she has been wonderful, but still no explanation as all my tests keep coming back normal. She does believe it is from the vaccine and has told me not to get the second shot yet. This has now been almost 4 months of this, but I have felt much better in this last week. So feeling hopeful this will pass. Has anyone else experienced these types of symptoms? Thanks for listening. It felt so good to get that out. Love to all who are suffering from this.

@lynner I just received my Pfizer 2nd dose. The only symptom I'm having other than pain at injection site is severe heart racing. I thought I was having a heart attack. Anxiety set in because im not sure this is normal. It then happens 4 more times after that. When will this go away?

@godcandoanything Still having issues... Seems to flare up with certain foods now (soy, legumes, wheat), high histamine foods. Have done functional movement tests for vertigo and MRI.. It's not that. Finding it hard to find a solution, as they think it could have been an underlying condition. I thought it might even be lyme or similar, but doctors flat out refuse to even test for it.. So at a loss where to go next.
