Hi,

My name is Kris and I am new to this site.  I am wondering if there is anyone else out there who has had worsening of symptoms, including migraines, after a wall down tympanomastoidectomy.  This is an ear surgery where they took down my ear canal wall down due to frequent ear infections and cholesteatomas. It was my second surgery.  The first one they did not take the ear canal wall down. A couple of months following surgery I developed increased migraines and was in need of PT because of vertigo, lightheadedness and balance issues.  It got better for a while, but now have increased symptoms again, even with continuing PT exercises at home.  It seems that looking at my phone or a computer for any length of time exacerbates the symptoms and my eyes are so tired at night. I am following a migraine diet and am started receiving Botox injections to help with the migraines.  I do see a neurologist and I also see an ENT every 6 months.
