I had my first episode on Monday and can’t get in to see anyone till Monday. I read about the Eply maneuver online and tried it. I had a couple of episodes on Tuesday, but then no more. I did the Eply a few times and it got better. On Thursday I hadn’t had any dizziness and did the Eply and it seemed like that started it back. Should I not do it when I haven’t had any Vertigo for 12 hours? Today I am dizzy at times, but not Vertigo dizzy. I also got the vaccination yesterday.
Hopefully these questions will be answered when I go to the PT, it that’s a long time. I am so fearful of having vertigo when I don’t really know what triggers it.
Thankss

Hi Cath,
I'm sorry to hear about what happened, I'm glad to hear that you were able to get into see a provider yesterday. I hope they were able to answer all of your questions. While I can't offer any diagnosis or medical advice, I can offer some resources for you. Here is an article on BPPV and here is an article on VRT that you might find helpful.

I would be inclined to first have a physical therapist or doctor perform the eply, and give you instructions on when and how often to do the maneuver. My understanding is that you only do it when you are experiencing symptoms, but I'm not a professional, so please get some guidance from your health care provider.
I'm sorry you are experiencing vertigo. It is a scary situation. But, stay relaxed and go easy on yourself as you learn about it. VeDA has so much helpful information about balance disorders.
I hope you're doing well, you can always use buy cajeput essential oil for reducing the effects of the systems and calm you down a little bit.
