@nawpan mine started 10days after and now I'm questioning if it's that or something else. My legs feel like jelly and both hands go numb all of a sudden then I feel spacy.. what is your feeling like?
Hi everyone, I’m so glad I found this site.
I have the same symptoms as many of you have especially pins and needles and tingling and numbness a week after first moderna jab. I also have had nausea and blurry vision. I thought it was something else. The doctor gave me x-rays and found nothing. He gave me B12 for two weeks. It got a bit better but still flares up unexpectedly. Then came my second dose and still have pins and needles though not so bad as the first two weeks. I’m on week 5 since the first symptoms I am anxiously waiting for the time my body can be normal again. I am taking fish oil and B12 still and I hope these supplements help. I hope we all get better soon
Same exact thing with me. There is no way it is a coincidence. With my first Pfizer shot, I had severe tingling in hand on opposite side of injection. It not only felt weird, it looked weird! This spread to the forearm region and slightly to the other arm and hand. This continued for about 3 days v and gradually subsided. At the time, I thought it was a fluke so I went ahead and got the second dose 2 days ago. Though it didn't come on as quickly or intense, I have pins and needles feeling sporadically on all extremeties!!!! I hope it goes away quickly, but what is going on?!
@chrish I’m having the exact same things happening to me me. I got the 2nd Pfizer vaccine July 21 and the tingling and twitching started July 22. When I googled symptoms (terrible idea) It had me thinking I had ALS or Parkinson’s. It’s terrifying. It the jerks that make it hrs to sleep for me too. The tingling I can handle.

@justvaughn Hang in there. Some days are good for me and some not so much. Every doctor I have asked, which is probably 6 now, said they never heard of these symptoms from the vaccine. This just isn’t true. I will make sure I let them all know that this is a thing and there are many people suffering. Maybe then they can address the issue. I just hope this goes away by itself. It’s been 3 months for me and I am tired of it. At least I don’t think I’m dying any more.
@dgingoglia i have anxiety issues in the past, but having a 5 yr old, 3 yr old and 8 month old baby. When i got the vaccine in july rhe 28th it wS the calmest period of my life in over a yr. I had nothing to worry about or do, life is good, no woories on my plate, felt 100% and even the 1st week after aside from the numb finger. Then 2 weeks post bam! I will note however im on day 11 of non stop random symptoms and they are much milder today vs day 7/8. Whewww that makes me think vaccine induced. I've been off carbs, dairy, sugar, eating clean and taking my vitamins. i get mri tommorow. I'll report back. As for anxiety try natural factors Gaba, It really helped me after my second baby in 2019 and it's natural.

Hello I am glad to have found this thread for suppport. I wish there were more stories of symptoms going away. I regret getting vaccinated and am mad for giving in to pressure from work, the media and family. Here’s my story.
I got the Johnson & Johnson Jannsen vaccine on Friday (today is Monday for the record). The following night around 3am I got severe shivers and muscle aches which I was expecting. During the day I felt very nauseus and had heat flashes with various muscle pains, nausea and loss of appetite while feeling sick. My vision was very blurry
Sunday the pain in my leg felt worse and I was feeling tingling sensations spreading to more areas of my body. I became extremely worried and messaged my primary doctor. I called urgent care who said they only have an xray and I should go to the ER for more tests.
Today my primary got back to me and said to go to urgent care who can check if I need to go to the ER. On my way there the pins and needles sensation on my foot, hand and face got so bad that I drove to the ER instead. I cant affors cat scans ans mris so I said ok to an ultrasound on my right leg thats been in pain since Saturday. They ruled out a clot and dispatched me.
It’s midnight and I still have very painful pins ans needle sensation on my hand, foot, scalp, neck, lip and more slight elsewhere. My right cheak and part of my forehead feel numb. Someone saw me before I went to the ER and commented I looked too pale. When I look in the mirror I get scared because I look like I have no color.
My leg feels like Im dragging an elephant it feels very heavy. Im also hearing a loud ringing in my ear. My hand feels like someone sat on it and it got bad pins ans needles but instead of going away its getting worse and I can’t sleep.
I called Jannsen’s hotline yesterday where they noted my symptoms and told me they can’t give medical advice. I feel like they must know more than theyre revealing to the public. I am desperate to find out if this will go away. I feel like Im in a bad dream and want to rewind time before getting the shot. I just want to scream after reading most of you have had these symptoms for months. And my vision is so blury even when I have my glasses on. And the thought of how much my ER bills is going to cost is not helping. I am tempted to sue Janssen. I have always been in excellent health, a vegetarian, ideal weight, low blood pressure, take vitamins. I don’t deserve this crap nor not being warned of it so that I could make an informed decision as to whether to get vaccinated. I also find it hard to swallow a few times a day including just now which freaks me out. What the f is going on??????!!!!!
I’m curious how many of us who are experiencing these symptoms have been extremely stressed and anxious during the pandemic and also making the decision and actually getting vaccinated? I’m an already anxious person and the pandemic and choosing to get vaccinated may have sent my anxiety into overdrive manifesting itself into these odd neurological symptoms. This is not to say that they are not physiological but possibly caused by an overactive anxious response? Just curious if anyone else has thoughts in this direction? I’m feeling desperate for relief and have noticed extreme flare ups on days when I am most anxious which then exacerbates my anxiety causing even worse symptoms!!
I have been very anxious during pandemic indeed. But I was actually looking forward to this vaccine. And honestly I was never concerned about possible side effects. Right after 1st pfizer dose I even celebrated, finally feeling safe after so many months of anxiety. 10 days later when I started to feel pins and needles it didn't even cross my mind this could be a vaccine side effect. But symptoms were coming and going and were scaring me. I ended up googling it and found people complaining of the same thing after getting vaccinated. Only then I realised I actually got these symptoms shortly after the vaccine too, never experienced them before! So at least in my case, this was certainly not related to vaccination anxiety or me being more aware of my body right after vaccine..
@chrish Thanks for the encouragement! I actually ended up in the hospital last week because they thought I was having a stroke. While I was there I asked the Dr who was handling my case if it could be the vaccine and she shut me down so quick. It has become so political that I feel like it’s causing people not to take us serious. They did CT scans and MRI and found nothing abnormal. So they said it was anxiety. When I was getting my MRI the tech there told me that she has done a lot of MRI’s on ppl who show symptoms after the vaccine. I find hope and encouragement in these posts and I hope life gets back to normal for us all soon!
