@csgut me too I just got a Moderna booster three days ago and my whole head and whole body is tingling I’m really scared I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions? I’m not sure how to use this site and hope this goes through
@vikki1928 You should go see your Dr to rule some things out but if you are like many of us, this could last months. Hopefully you are one of the luckier ones and that's not the case. Definitely speak to the dr and they should arrange some blood tests, MRI etc. You will be ok, try not to get too anxious, I know that's hard but it makes everything a million times worse.
@karenmadsen I'm sorry you have been going through this for so long. I am almost at 4 months and I do definitely feel that I am improving, although I dont have a day without symptoms. I think alot of people are right about anxiety making it all worse. Once the appropriate tests are done to rule out the nasties it will put alot of minds at rest. I am very nervous that this will get worse but I am keeping my faith that in time all of us will recover. Its so strange that one day we can feel good and the next can be terrible. I have no idea yet what triggers mine or if this will eventuate into a full blown autoimmune disease but I do know that I cant let myself get back to the head space I was previously in. It took over my whole life, we just have to keep going, have faith and stay away from any further shots!

Hi Vikki, sorry to hear you are suffering with the tingling. I believe it’s an over reactive response of our immune systems causing nerve dysfunction so causes different sensations, tingling, prickling, burning etc. Everyone heals differently, some after a couple weeks some 6-12 months. I got it in my hands & feet a week after jab last June which spread to most of body for few months & settled down at 5/6 months. I am post 7 months now & have mild tingling in feet still. All I will say is don’t stress about it as anxiety will make the nerves misfire even more. Supplements that have helped me are high dose Vit C - this neutralises histamine response, vitamin D & B12 - good for inflammation & nerve healing, Antihistamine - lowers histamine response that causes inflammation causing nerve problems. Turmeric - for inflammation, glutathione - antioxidant works at the cellular level to prevent inflammation and other cell damage. I noticed a big difference after starting the glutathione and then again after starting the B12. Eat well & stay hydrated also. Hope you feel better soon 🙂
Finally Pfizer acknowledging these symptoms.......now what are they going to do about it!?!?!

Updated Pfizer product information
The product information for Pfizer has been updated to include the potential adverse events erythema multiforme (a type of allergic skin rash), paraesthesia and hypoaesthesia (tingling and numbness of the skin). These events were reportedly not observed in clinical trials but have been reported during post-market surveillance.
‘Erythema multiforme may appear on the hands [especially the palms] or feet before spreading to other areas,’ the TGA states.
‘The rash is characterised by small round spots that are darker at the centre than the edges. This condition usually resolves on its own, but treatment may be needed for more severe cases.’
Only five cases of suspected erythema multiforme were reported to the TGA up to 2 January.
Meanwhile, paraesthesia (an unusual feeling in the skin, such as tingling or a crawling sensation) and hypoaesthesia (a decreased feeling or sensitivity) have been reported to the TGA for each of the COVID-19 vaccines and are mentioned in about 9% of all reports relating to the Pfizer vaccine.
It is not known why paraesthesia and hypoaesthesia sometimes occur after vaccination, but the TGA suggests they are usually mild and may be a stress-related response to immunisation rather than an immune reaction.
- @jessm hi, I know how you feel. My reaction consumed my mind every single day for months, I was so incredibly anxious, suffered insomnia, lost my appetite & got very depressed, I cried inconsolably for days 🙁 I was prescribed antidepressants in September last year & thankfully I could feel the weight being lifted after just a week which helped me cope. I had the vaccine in June & my problems started a week later with tingling/buzzing & shaking on the inside, it got progressively worse until it stayed the same for a while then at 5/6 months I started to notice things starting to calm down. I had countless bloods & an MRI & all was well (like most other posts I’ve read) I was so scared I had MS & had to remind myself that I was perfectly healthy before the jab! It’s caused an over active immune inflammatory response. It’s obvious the jab did this to our bodies. Eat well & stay hydrated. I use supplements Vit c, d, b12 = all good for inflammation & a daily antihistamine & antioxidant glutathione. Stay strong. Time is our healer.

During my first Pfizer, I didn't have too many symptoms, apart of some fatigue. 3 to 4 weeks after my second Pfizer I started to feel very tired, legs were numb and sensation of pins and needles all around my body. I went to a doctor, did checks...nothing.
3 weeks ago, I had the 3rd (booster) of Pfizer, same symptoms pop up again few days ago. It's clear to me. And I just hope that many people googling their symptoms don't get in a panic state of this being linked to so many diseases. Of course, do some necessary tests to rule them out. But it seems that besides COVID, also the vaccine can have an effect on our nervous system.
Thank you for the positive post! Hope we can all hit 100% recovery! It's laughable how we are all fobbed off with anxiety alone.
So very lazy. Anxiety is a real problem and they should make a real effort to make proper diagnoses so that they get it right.
Wow, you are very lucky with your doc. But we are all probably similar if we have been fine before vax so your results are helpful to know thx.
Eric Clapton is right. The media bullied me into it. Of course they don't write anything about vax reactions that they don't officially recognise (yet!)
I had my first Pfizer shot on 11th Jan. 8 days later i started experiencing random zaps in my legs. That night, I was getting pins and needles in my arms, hands and feet.
The last week I have had the pins and needles on and off all over me including ny tongue. I went to get a blood test today, doc said I could possible be low on vitamins etc.
she said she’s not heard of these side effects from the vax.
my question is, for those of you who had the second one…how were your symptom? Did they continue? Get worse? Get better?
I am asking because vaccination is mandatory where I am. I have to be double vaxed so I can take my child to his chemotherapy appointments! Otherwise I cannot take him. So not getting the second one isn’t really an option 🙁
unless my gp states that I can have an exemption, which the only really way to get an exemption is to have an anaphylaxis to it.
I’m freaking out, which anxiety makes everything so much worse too, but I just can’t help it! I am 30 with a 4, 2, 8 month old. My 4yr old has cancer and when I think about it I am like surely the universe isn’t going to throw MS at me too.
Sorry, one more thing.
My d dimer was also a little high in the beginning! But I have no other info on my results other than the stats were satisfactory. So I don't think they had such a close look... do you know what this test was called? Or what exactly they were looking for? I might ask them to check or look for private blood test options. It's interesting and could help to reassure me if they can tell how healthy things look. X
How does one stay positive? And that coming from one who largely has a glass-half-full, optimistic, positive attitude and outlook on life.
Today - 2 months and 15 days since the first jab - has to be the worst day yet. I stubbornly keep moving, and try to avoid sitting for too long.
With moving about/struggling to walk (shuffle more like), hanging onto furniture, doors, walls, and my walking stick, I think it's taking its toll on my back. For my lower back, waistline aches... but a Nurofen (with Ibuprofen) helps and the ache eases away. Do have to take something like Rennies after taking a Nurofen because of the Ibuprofen.
Phoned Pfizer med info dept... it's like whipping someone with a fluffy pillow... they do not want to take any responsibility, and pass it on to a variation of Tom, Dick and Harries. I told them, you developed this poison, and it's destroyed my and many, many other thousands of lives around the world, so it is YOUR responsibility! But like many doctors, and other medical specialists, they don't give a flying f****!
I've ordered NAC, etc, and hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow. And believe you me, I will religiously start taking it!!!
Feel so out of sorts... burst into tears several times today. Shivery, as if I am feverish, but temp lies between 36 and 36.5C, so pretty normal for me.
Why is it?... how come?... NOTHING shows up be it in test, scans, blood work, or a thermometer... By all accounts we should be perfectly normal and healthy, and bouncing about... but we are NOT.
I hope I will make it up the stairs later tonight. More so, hope I will be able to make it down the stairs tomorrow morning.
And assuming, hoping and praying (and I am not religious), I will make it OK down the stairs tomorrow morning, I anxiously await the delivery of NAC, some Vits and supplements. And from thereon fingers and all crossed.
Can you tell me how your child is doing NOW? My son is 19 also and we are running in circles trying to find answers. He had his 1st dose of Pfizer in June 2021 and his 2nd Dose - Moderna in Late July 2021
Since about 2 weeks after his first dose (Pfizer) he has has pins and needles all over at random times. Arms legs and torso. It can be mild or severe lasting from a couple minutes to half an hour. We are now seeing specialists because 6 months later its still happening. Lots of bloodwork and now scheduled for an MRI.
Before the vaccine he was healthy and active. Never sick. We have no history of auto immune disorders in our family tree. The internalist we are now seeing thinks its a virus...because its showing these symptoms.
My sister in law is a nurse and right away blamed the vaccine...i laughed it off. Now, after reading these posts I think she may be right. Can anyone help me out with info? Has anyone's symtoms lasted longer than 6 months?
Thank you,
Signed,
A Worried Mom
