Hey all. I’m doing an update here on my progress with taking some supplements for joint pain and tingling along with minor tinnitus.

I have been taking a glucosamine/chondroitin/MCM supplement alongside some omega 3 fish oil and turmeric for a little over two weeks now. I’m having nerve pains and tingling come and go but I’d still say it’s helping, most supplements really don’t kick in for about 4 weeks so I’m trying to stay positive.

One thing that has been helping me is staying distracted and doing some mindfulness exercise. Reducing stress and anxiety about the situation actually has does a lot more than I thought to contribute feeling better for me personally. It’s not easy since I have Borderline Personality Disorder but I can say that it’s even helping just a little.

I’m rooting for us all and sending love and hope for everyone.

Hi Tone, how are you now?

I'm having the exact same symptoms as you. I'm ten days after the J&J booster (had J&J first time and just had a fever). I've been to a doctor, but just had some blood sent off for work. He suggested might be B12 deficiency or the onset of diabetes. Also, if you look at Reddit, you'll see this is a pretty common side effect of the vaccines.

I've just been told if you lose motor functions (can't walk on tippy toes,  lose strength in feet, legs or hands) these be need for immediate attenion.

Still much of the same ...really weird rumblings and stuff in stomach ( mostly  at night) . Numbness in toes and finger tips ( seem rather sensitive  to heat and cold) . Nerve pain  mostly moves around legs torso chest and arms. . Have had this wierd pulsing in wrists ( not painful) primarily  on left ( shot side) . Pins and needle feeling moves around as well. Have a MRI scheduled  for few weeks from now. Sleep is hard. . Haven't taken any supplements  yet.  but feel I gonna start something  in the next few days . What has worked best for most ? Is this a good regiment or would someone suggest anything else ? Trying to stay positive Nights suck. Have pretty constant back pain as well. And left knee is sore as well. Gonna try a more anti inflammatory  diet as well. What about melatonin  for sleep ? Anybody have success ? Or antihistamines?

@lalak

Hi there , I’m new to the site helping someone with symptoms described by, well, all of you.
She commented on an article I wrote on Quora, and it kind of completed the picture.
The condition being described normally comes with a distinctive rash. That’s why it hasn’t been diagnosed.

it’s called ‘Zoster Sine Herpete’ and it’s a much more serious form of Varicella Zoster Virus reactivation than Shingles.

I don’t want to tell you all that this is pretty serious and there are a multitude of serious complications if left untreated, but it is.

I’m shocked to see so many of you.

Because it’s been reactivated due to the vaccine, hers was AZ, she’s suffering for 9 months, it’s even more Atypical. You are all describing what would be considered ‘rare complications’, thus, on the face of it, the diagnosis seems hard to believe. I assure you my word is True.

Treatment protocol is pretty  well understood but even now there’ll be jiggery pockery to confirm a diagnosis.

I must figure out how to post something everyone can see.

The sooner you get treatment the better, I mean as soon as is reasonably possible you ought to call your GP and get an ‘immediate necessary’ and tell them directly that this is Zoster Sine Herpete. They wont be directly familiar with it.

and please avoid further vaccination of any kind until this is resolved.

I’ll do everything I can to help, I have a lot of knowledge of the treatments for this.

What is the immediate  treatment  and what is too late ? Many are months with symptoms  ?

@tone hey there 🙂 thanks for replying, There’s so much to say, I’m literally pacing around. I don’t know if I’m allowed to link let alone diagnose here.
In terms of treatment, this is a virus that is typically treated with Aciclovir, valaciclovir, or famciclovir.

Yet Chinese medicine has been treating Zoster for centuries..

And there are two Trees that are known for their healing properties in this regard; Neem and Moringa. Their leaves can be purchased as powder and not expensive. They are superfood anti-viral super anti-oxidant. I got them myself and in just 1 week banished a 3 year chronic gastric condition.
There are 3 other trees, 1 is  coconut. Coconut milk has remarkable anti viral properties against all plasma membrane viruses. Definitely worth adding to the menu.  The other 2 concern haemorrhage. This will be important.
One of the most effective treatments is phlebotomy- blood letting. That requires explanation but I mention it so people can know to look it up. I found out by such strange connection.
But all of these things, they must be considered by the person, I am not their physician. Yet I will only say what I believe is True.

This person, her story, she is the same. She had a rash, I’m surprised she didn’t get diagnosed. But most of you I’m thinking wont have a rash.

her name is Caroline Pover and she describes her story on a site call realnotrare

com

“..In the following weeks I developed a range of weird physical and psychological symptoms. Every single day was different. They included: agoraphobia, excessive yawning, “bubble” sensations going up and down my calves, inability to process written information, dizziness, inability to walk unaided, lightheadedness, and kidney failure. And the head and eye pain — it was relentless. From the moment I woke up to the moment I went to bed, I was in constant pain. Everything exhausted me”

And as the months went on, more and more symptoms appeared — nerve pain, inexplicable bruising, tinnitus, jaw pain, insomnia, random shooting pains, swollen lymph nodes, bulging veins, loss of sensation in limbs, suicidal thoughts, excessive crying, blocked sinuses, diarrhea, bladder dysfunction, food intolerances.”

But the most surprising thing I tried that dramatically improved my symptoms, was phlebotomy. I discovered quite by accident, after having a lot of blood taken for tests, that I saw an improvement in my symptoms, especially in my cognitive functioning. I enjoyed a few months of feeling like “me” again in my soul, even if not quite in my body, and then the cognitive functions declined again over a period of a month. I hired a private phlebotomist to come to my home. She removed 520ml of blood and I went from being slumped on the sofa, hardly speaking, to sitting upright, animated. I was back at work within two hours when I hadn’t worked at all for a week. Phlebotomy has given me a way of regaining my full cognitive functions. And it has given me hope. At least I have something I can do (no more than once every three months) that can give me quality of life back.

@jamesallmandsmith I had shingles as a teen. And on my left shoulder. Could that be a reactivation I’m having from that?

unfortunately my GP is of no help at all. I see a neurologist for follow up end of March. Is there a treatment I can do in the meantime?

I can’t find a clear connection for your GI noises. Have you been constipated or otherwise?

@tone I'm sorry to hear that. I've seen a facebook group that is pretty active and they might have other solutions for those problems. I've found melatonin works well if you can fall asleep 30 mins after you take it.

@lalak  hi there, I’ve read your posts. As for the GP or whoever diagnosed you ‘general anxiety disorder’, uh. I feel for you right there, y’know, it would have been better for your health had he said nothing.

You are going to be fine, ok? And you correctly diagnosed yourself right where you said it feels like it flares up when you get stressed.

Flare ups of herpesvirus, are well known to be associated with stress.

Ok, a doctor correctly diagnosing ‘shingles without a rash’ would prescribe acyclovir.

It seems you can get it over the counter, most usually for a cold sore before it starts showing up on the lip because the tingling feeling there is the advance sign.

But I will come back to you after learning a bit more about that and how you might evidence your condition better.

as it says here:

Patients with ZSH display variable symptoms, such as neuralgia, however, different from HZ, ZSH show no zoster, which makes clinical diagnosis difficult.

and

Since pain and neurologic complications before, during, or after VZV infection can occur in the absence of the classic skin findings (zoster sine herpete),2 it is important to recognize the wide spectrum of regional VZV syndromes that can occur.
