@jolie that's great regarding your recovery and thank you for keeping us all updated. Can I ask which herbal teas you had? It's great too that you never caught covid during your recovery

@kg1986

I also went on medical medium diet and some suplements. A lot of foods went away so it is a big change. Similar symptoms as yours.

@buzzgirl

they prescribe me 300mg gabapentin once a day.

my symptoms was: numbness in left leg and arm sometimes also the right leg, Lower jaw, forehead sometimes.

i was always fatigued and had retinal vein occlusion  6 weeks post poster dose which i still taking injection in the eye 👁 to prevent  further  progression.
I also still have  tinnitus on my ears.
but i used to it now.

i was heathy , medically free 39 years male with no family history for such awkward complicated symptoms.

however, my pins and needles appear only with walking on my feet 👣

no more numbness any part of the body.

@goldeneye hi. I have now had tingling / buzzing in my torso (ribs) hands, arms and groin for 11 months after 2nd Pfizer jab. Starts up when I move (at all) then goes for a while. Right hand and arm lingers longer and weakness in hand due to this. Had full neurological and they have said it’s not that.. I think I am going to have to live with it as it doesn’t seem to be dissipating at all. Discussed with GP a few times but no answers… I don’t know what to do next

@sarahlou I'm exactly the same, except its my legs and feet rather than arms and hands.  It is so horrible.

@nawwaf what was your experience with gabapentin? My doctor prescribed me the same with the same dose, but I'm afraid to take it due to any potential adverse reaction.

@lmkk sorry, you may have already told us, what supplements or meds did you find helpful?

I haven't taken any prescribed medication. Only occasional ibuprofen.

I think time and clean eating is the best route in healing. I drink daily turmeric tea. Lots of extra virgin olive oil on salads. Oily fish, pineapple, omega 3 fish oil, pumpkin seeds and a good multi purpose vitamin which has all the B vitamin spectrum. Also marmite on toast as it's full of B vitamins which are good for nerves.

Sugar, caffeine, salt and oily foods definitely make my symptoms worse so I try to avoid them.

I have heard very good reviews by doctors and surgeons about alpha lipoic acid for nerve repair and regeneration but I haven't tried it myself due to nursing a baby as it can have a chelating effect and I didn't want it to effect my milk supply. Hope this is useful.

@lmkk hi kit, i remember u have some eye issues, has it resolved?

Hi there. I still have eye issues. Some of the problems I had with my eyes resolved such as the pain and pressure feeling behind my eyes but some of my other symptoms still persist although not as bad as before.

I have noticed that I have better days where my eye problems are less noticeable and then days where stuff starts flaring up again.

On the whole things are better than 8 months ago.

Hi Kit, what are the eye symptoms u still have?

I remembered u have tingling in yr tongue ?

What are symptoms are still lingering on?

What symptoms have gobe away?

My tinittus, dizziness, eye pain and facial numbness and twitching has gone away. I'm still left with pins and needles, muscle twitching in my legs, eye dryness, eye floaters, wobbly vision and sparkling dots in my vision.

I'm 8 months out. Early months were just awful. Some days now my symptoms are so mild I can forget all about them for a few hours. Other days they flare up but not as badly and for as long as in the early days.

My main severe initial symptoms were pins and needles, horrible burning pains in my limbs, crazy muscle twitching, numbness in limbs. I also had pins and needles in my face, mouth, throat and tongue, followed by dizziness and eye problems that started a few weeks after the jab.

Tinnitus has gone and the facial numbness, twitching and pins and needles has gone. Eye pain has gone but other eye issues remain although better than how they were.

I also had a two month long headache which started two and a half months after the jab which may/may not be jab related but since I have never experienced a migraine longer than 4 days I suspect that my two month headache marathon was Pfizer induced.

My left arm where I had my jab often still aches and has a deep burning ache in the muscle which is crazy considering I'm 8 months out from my jab.

Are the burning sensation pains gone ? Did you have any GI stomach issues? When did you start to feel better ? I'm 3 months in and symptoms still relatively mild ?when  was it at its worst . Am I just getting  started  ? And worse is yet to come? I too am having these issues .

Hello all, I am back to report I am still ok.

Every symptom is gone, except for my mild tingling in legs - that now is 1 or 2 days every month during my period for some hours - and my eye floaters that are still there after 6 months but smaller and more transparent.

I had only 1 Pfizer at the end of August 2021. I never had Covid.

Hope this helps someone.

I will come back again to report if there's any changes, but everything is ok so far.

What were yr symptoms?

As we know this recovery and symptoms play havoc on our mental health? Anyone tried antidepressants to help lift their mood? Made things better or worse?
