@chrish That’s great news! How long did it take before you started to feel 90% better I saw you’ve had the shot in March. Did you have any tinnitus? And how bad was your tingling I have tingling up and down my legs and twitching pins and needles

I saw my GP today and received my extensive blood, and neck and brain MRI results.Everything came back normal. To my GPS credit he is still trying to work out the cause of my tingling and now wants to do X-ray and ultrasound on my wrists to check for Carpel Tunnel, although he had no ideas RE the tingling in my feet. He has referred me to a neurologist as well but that could be months before I get to see them. I am pretty happy knowing it’s not MS causing my tingles though. I’m 8 weeks since my 1st Covid vax now and I feel like the tingling in my hands and feet has eased off a bit (although it could be that I am just getting used to it) I have my 2nd Vax next week so I have a tricky decision now. I am tempted to get the vax just to see what happens - if things flare up again at least I will be more certain it is the vax that has caused it.

Let us know if you go ahead with your second Vax. Fingers crossed for you.

@lmkk How sad that you had to go through all that with a new baby as well! Life can be really unfair. I feel like I'm improving albeit slowly. My bad days are the days the headaches and fatigue set in. The tingling doesn't bother me now that i know it's probably a sign of healing and it comes and goes. I'm working on getting my immune system healthy since I believe that is the source of our problems. I am working with a naturopath and an immunologist to get a diet/supplements that will ease inflammation and build a healthy immune system. I am reluctant to get the 2nd dose but may have no choice. My daughter works in a hospital and, now that we know vaccination doesn't stop spread, I wont be able to see her if i'm not jabbed. I can't live with that so I will probably take the risk. Not for a couple of months though and I'm hoping novavax might be available by then as I don't want mrna. Such a hard choice

I'm going to look into novavax too but definitely going to wait for a bit and let my body do some healing. Good luck if you do go ahead and get a second Vax.

My symptoms started to go away lately which made me feel relieved, but in the last few days they gradually came back... first just some discomfort in my right leg, then again the pins and needles in hands, arms, feet, torso, general weakness...

I did a comprehensive blood test yesterday and it suggests that I am in super shape! Other than a bit of zinc deficiency, all the rest looks in the normal parameters. This makes me feel like a crazy person.

Tomorrow I have an MRI of lower back and legs and radiography of the whole spine. Lets see what those will show...

Hi there. Just wondering how you are getting on now since you posted about your pins and needles gradually coming back? I hope since your post they have settled down for you.

@twitch It took 4 months before it started to go away.  The tingling was throughout my whole body.  It started in my hands and arms and spread to my legs and back and even my face.  It was very scary for a while until I found all the other people here who were experiencing similar symptoms to mine.

@jpgdubgmail-com Thank you sharing this Jean. I got my Moderna July 25 and have been struggling every since, almost to week 12 now. I found this forum a month or so ago but did not join until now. Reading the posts has been helpful but sometimes my anxiety gets the best of me. It is encouraging to hear you say it is cyclical for you too. I thought over the weekend the numbness/tingling was a little better, and now it is significant again. I had labs and everything was normal. The neurologist ordered an MRI of my brain but said if I was improving I could wait. I thought I was slightly, though still with heaviness in my legs and fatigue, but went ahead and scheduled the MRI for next week It is crazy-making and I feel like anyone I talk to about it also thinks I am crazy, or tired of hearing about it. It is encouraging that by month 5 you are a little better. I did not get the second shot.

@lmkk thanks for sharing your experience. I am in week 11 and thought it was slightly better with the numbness and tingling in my legs last week but it returned this week. I am scheduled for an MRI of my brain next week. It is terrifying to read all of the things it could be on the internet. Did you have an MRI?

Today is my 10 week anniversary since I was injected with the nerve poison!!! I'm actually having a mild day today and I'm wondering if it could be due to all the omega 3 and 6 in the ton load of salmon and avocados I ate yesterday? 🤔 Previous two days were horrible I was having a painful flare up and my joints were killing me.

I asked about an MRI during my phone consultation with my family GP. He didn't think it was necessary. He said that the vaccine most likely disturbed the ulnar nerve in my arm and that the tingling is caused by inflammation in my spine due to the vaccine. He didn't seem concerned and told me to take ibuprofen and wait it out. I've read several others on here who have mentioned they are scheduled for MRIs but that the waiting lists are super long so unless I start to deteriorate or get any further worrying symptoms I don't think I will bother.

My private GP at first tried to tell me I could be diabetic. He initially refused to accept that it was vaccine related. Funny how it all started 30min after my Pfizer vaccine.

I do wish a medical professional could offer a more precise time frame for when these things are likely to wear off, even if it's based on side effects of other vaxes like the H1N1 Vax. They must have an idea surely? Lots of people myself included have been told to "wait it out" or "ride it out" etc Id much rather they are straight and say it will take six months to a year. At least that way we wouldn't wake up disappointed each day when we find it's stil there if you know what I mean?

100% your MRI is going to come back normal just like everyone else on here! Good luck with your appointment!

I got my vaccine end of July, and a few weeks later started having issues with my heart where I was having SVT like episodes and nausea, tingling and numbness in various parts of my body … over the last 3 months or so this has eased however nausea, numbness and tingling has persisted and after various ECG, heart monitor and ultrasound of the heart and thankfully all is well… but this numbness and tingling still persists and I haven’t a clue what is the cause!ive read a lot of you have alphas the ‘off’ feeling which is consistent for me also which is as if you are unstable.

I hope with time all will just eventually go away …

I can see a few have also been to see a neurologist? Do you think it’s wise I should ask my doctor about this??

@judict How are you?  My experience is similar as yours.  Dizziness and nausea for three months and the numbness on the limbs, face started just recently...

Had my first shot on July 23 & was ok for first few days. In about a week I was having intense pain in my arm, shoulder, upper back and underarm/breast area. I’ve had this before about 4 years ago and was ruled as effects from Hyperventilation syndrome. Not sure this time what caused it.

Then started a slight numbness on left side. Arms, face & legs. I went to see my GP and they couldn’t find anything after x-rays & I even did an ultrasound for blood clotting. I was prescribed Gabapentin & Meloxicam for symptoms.

The pain has now subsided and I have now been having numbness and pain in my hands and fingers for about 12 weeks. My left leg just my toes feel somewhat numb and have pain. Sometimes my face feels numb and left lip will twitch. The face issues come and go. I have a small child & it makes me so sad that I was so healthy and now have this problem. I cry so much because i don’t know what to do to feel better.

I feel that the meds aren’t working at all. I stopped taking them bc GP advised they were not helping me. The gabapentin made me sooo tired during the day & spacey. I have a one year old and cannot feel that way!

I had about two weeks of no issues then it came back full force. I’ve been to my GP multiple times now. Bloodwork fine, MRI didn’t show anything too concerning (only history of aura migraines) and I do have an Appt with neurologist but not until November. Right now I’m in an ok period where it comes and goes. I’m so scared it’s peripheral neuropathy. Everyone keeps telling me it’s anxiety. When I got my shot I was in a period of extreme stress so I know why they think this but I can’t wrap my head around it.

Reading here has helped give me hope that I will get better!

Feel somewhat relieved seeing so many people are facing the same issues post vaccination.

I started getting pins and needles and muscle tremors since the 4th day of vax. I get it everywhere on my body. One night I felt pain in my chest, I immediately got up and started walking. I've been too scared and panicking since all of this began.

Though I've decided, I won't go for the 2nd jab. I don't know if these side effects would ever go? Will I ever be back to normal... to how I was before the vaccination.

Though all doctors deny, there was one who stated its a rare vaccine side effect and must go within 10 days or so. But looking at these comments I doubt if it will. I was suggested to take B12 tablets for 1 month. Will that be helpful? Do I need to do anything else? Any test or tablets, exercises, food?

And how long would it take for these weird side effects to go away? Has anyone been completely recovered from it? Can anyone help pls.

@lmkk so many of us are having the same issues post the vax. It can't be a coincidence! It is the vax!

Glad you're feeling better and I hope you recover soon. Infact all of us must. Do keep us posted how you feel after the 2nd jab.

@chrish Did you take any supplements or do any tests? Did it go away on its own?
