@jkrogmeier I agree that I think steroids would help! I was so frustrated my GP wouldn’t even consider it. I have heard a few people say it helped them immediately to feel better. All I want is for it to go away for good!

ive had days of feeling better lately then last night my left lip started to twitch and I’m reminded it’s still there.

do any of you still have injection site pain? I’ve noticed that it will begin to hurt there for me & then the numbness gets progressively worse.

@lalak weird about the injection site pain for me. I didn’t have any initially and then in the last week I have had pain in the injection site snd itching. I’m going to see an immunologist and I’m asking for steroids. My PCP wouldn’t give them either

@maddie628 Mayo turned me down for an appointment recently. I don’t seem to have as severe of a case though. I wish your son good health.

@maddie628 let us all know if Mayo gives you any answers so we can maybe get treatment too! I have reached out to the clinical director of neurology at the NIH and he gave me a couple of docs to contact in NYC and that hasn’t amounted to any answers either. My question is….I knew this was a new shot but if absolutely no one knows how to deal with problems with it why are they still giving it out? I’m so frustrated with the entire situation as I’m sure you and your family are too. I wish your son health and healing soon!

This has been an emotional rollercoaster. So, I got my first vaccination on 9/9and found out I was covid positive on 9/18. I went through the fevers, headaches, and cough. I had my second shot 10/11. Now it feels like my head has liquid in it. I can hear it.Then it goes down to my forehead. I am scared. I went to the ER and they act like they didn't want to give me a catscan. He said I had one last year and my brain was fine last year. He said its the covid symptoms. He checked my blood and said it didn't come back with any infection and he said it didn't detect any blood clots. I got an appointment with my GP on Wednesday. Anybody going through this. I am crying right now because it's me and my daughter and I'm scared to go to sleep.. I am praying and just trying to stay strong.

Since my first and only moderna dose I have experienced pins and needles, fatigue, shortness of breath, vertigo, tinnitus, muscle spasms, muscle weakness, heavy legs, numbness, muscle twitches, burning skin, itchy skin, stomach upsets, weight loss, headaches!! I’m 13 weeks into this mess. 3 ER visits, 2 hospital stays, 3 MRIs, and lumbar puncture. All tests are normal and doctors didnt know what was happening. They refused to believe it was vaccine related. I’m 34F and healthy/fit, prior to jab. Experimenting and reading about others in similar situations, i have found magnesium, antihistamines, and currently taking a steroid all have helped ease symptoms. I’m by no means cured! Praying for that day and hoping the best for us all!!

@rosie01 I’m sorry you are going through this.  I hope you feel better soon.

I recently saw a neurologist who indicated that he has seen this with all three of the vaccines presently in use.  His assessment is Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) and he indicated that not everyone with GBS loses mobility.  Maybe you can find a neuro who has experience with GBS cases.  I was referred out for treatment, and will be following up soon.

@shelllynncox I hope things get better for you soon.  I am still experiencing the paraesthesia.  It is intermittent, come and goes, and includes burning sensations in limbs, needle like pain in limbs, tingling in fingers and toes, twitches in calves and arms.  I hope this will resolve soon.  Now that I was assessed with Guillain-Barré syndrome by a neurologist, I will follow up with treatment options.

@richardhall17

Me too!! 10th week but after 2nd shot ( but I had my 1st and 2nd shots 3 weeks apart so it could’ve been the 1st shot that triggered the burning feet for me on a daily basis).

I have lost so much sleep all this time. Ive had intense anxiety symptoms and some dizziness over the first few weeks.

@nat21 I have nerve pain at random places. Its been 4 days with 4 instances each day - My index finger, back, left arm and neck bone. These happen only for some seconds to mintues and then vanished. While I am typing this my back nerve seems painful.

Also I've got pain in my ears. Its on and off. I have been on B12 supplements for past 10 days and tingling and tremors have reduced to some extent. I did visit a GP yesterday who asked me to calm myself down. She suggested me to continue with the supplement and asked me to intake Gapabin NT 100 which is for nerve pain. After taking it last night, I felt jerks in my sleep. Similar to how we feel when we feel like we're falling while sleeping.

I did inform the GP but was suggested to continue taking it as it will take almost 4-5 days for my body to adjust to the medicine.

I don't know if this is helpful to anyone but my personal observation from past 1 week now. I feel this issues aggravate when we panic. I haven't been able to sleep at night too.

I know it's difficult time for all of us but, staying calm and keeping faith that things will soon be back on track is the only thing we can do. After speaking with the Doctor yesterday, I was a bit calm the whole day but, post the tablet things got little crazy.

Hope all of us soon recover from this and are able to live the life we once had before injecting this substance.

I wish, I had seen this page before. Maybe I would've saved myself. But, now we cannot go back in time.

Anyone can tell me what to do with this pain in my ears? Has anyone felt better from these side effect? Has anyone ever recovered?
