I have had the tingling and it in random spots all over my body, muscle twitches and cramping in calves. Also getting fatigued easily, flush off feeling like a feverish/sore throat almost, which to me is even more of a hinderance. Does anyone have something similar to this combo of side effects? When I went to the ER the only thing that was kinda off was maybe I have anemia I was not aware of, levels are borderline. I know the constant regret as I was not going to get it does not help me at all. I see me PCP on Monday

I did have some of your symptoms, pin and needles in various places, numbness in fingers and feet, got tired from getting up the stairs, weakness in legs, left eye twitching, and disequilibrium.  After 8 weeks, now I still have buzzing/vibrating sensation in my legs feet and arms/hands (come and go).  Disequilibrium is barely noticeable.  Other symptoms are gone.  So i would say I slowly getting better.  Not as fast as I hope but getting better.

I. have Pfizer, first shot 12/29. Second shot 1/19/2021

Around 1/20 I started having tingling, numbness in face, gums, hands, arms, feet & legs, sometimes my chest.

It has now been six months and it's just now starting to go away. I reported it to vaccine adverse event website of some kind. have seen a neurologist. He said it was a virus from the shot.

Thanks for the update, 6 months is a long time but at least it’s going away.  Mine is 2 months now.  I hope mine will go away soon too.  At least your doctor agreed that it’s from the vaccine. My doctor didn’t say much. He just said he’s not sure what’s going on.

I'm not sure I can take this for many months I wish I had never had that first shot

Hello!! I have the same symptoms as you and I also started to feel paresthesia in my left leg after 12 days. The course of symptoms has been the same as yours. I already feel the same sensations in both legs, hands and even face. I've been like this for 5 weeks, after the first dose of pfizer. EMG and Magnetic resonance OK.
Has anyone been administered the second dose and can you share your experience?

Thanks!

Did you need dye contrast for MRI?  I had EMG today and everything is okay.  Now I am afraid what if it’s a central nerve?  But both of your test were okay.  Are you still having the symptoms?

If we knew that this would happen, I don’t think anyone here would get the shot.  Well we can’t go back now.  I believe you will feel better eventually.

@stela mine is weird now: I almost feel it in my arm (same side where I got the shot) and less persistent in my legs/feet. In return, I feel both my legs sore and weak: I am totally fine when I am sitting or lying but when I walk I feel I have to do an effort.

My GP told me to hold on with the second dose for the moment: he did me blood test and in a week we'll see if those paresthesias can be due to something else.

@adenk it looks very similar to what I have, with the difference that I felt nothing for days. Just sore arm and bowel disorders the day after and then nothing till 12 days later.

What did your doctor said? If not the vaccine, what else can be? Mine talked about tyroid, vitamins deficit and all that, I guess we'll see it next week with my blood test results.

Let's keep posted

After how long after your symptoms your GP prescribed EMG/MRI? My doctor for the moment only talked about doing blood test (done yesterday) and, in case, to do a nerve conduction study (so probably EMG), never spoke about MRI.

Did  you do blood test? If yes, did the doctor find anything weird?

One of my concern now if about getting the second shot or not, I would like to do to be fully protected and to live normally, as almost everything here is open only for the ones who had the full cicle of vaccine. But as well, I am scared as there isn't a way to find out that it was because of the vaccine or not, so maybe I'll do it and my symptoms persist or get worse.

My Covid Vaccine Symptom? Four months after getting the Janssen one shot vaccine.

I have been under a diagnoses of Multiple Sclerosis for now decades. 😕

I have had numbness in my right thigh. which started 3 weeks after I got the Johnson one shot. And I got the shot, 30 days after I finished my MS drug treatment for the year, (just two months out of a year) which initially impacts a person's immune system.

So I went to discuss it with my neurologist of YEARS, and he shrugged off any further testing, even it this actually could be an MS symptom. He referred me to contact where I got the vaccine. After a half an hour with them, getting referred and cross checked with higher ups, they informed me to contact my primary care. WHO I recognize her only option is to refer me to a neurologist. 🤪

So obviously, I only want her to refer me to a neurologist locally, who is curious to investigate this potential vaccine linked new symptom of mine. BUT how does one find ANYONE, who is doing such kind of treatment?? I will contact her office next week, but then I already have an appt with her, in two more weeks from now.

So I did reported it to the CDC, to MS Lifelines, and the Janssen vaccine hotline. (8/2) We will see what happens from there.

All I REALLY want to know, is am I one of those RARE individuals with side effects? OR is it a sign that my MS is finally impacting my extremities? When I got the vaccine, I readily accepted the fact I was participating in a grand experiment, regarding side effects. But there does appear to be a need to set up a hotline that actually DOES something for patients. Yeesh. 🙏💖

I may have to now report it to my states CDC agency, as well as my congress representative, to see what they may know and what contacts they have. 😕

I had my vaccine on the 27th May 22 days later I suddenly got a tingling/vibrating sensation in my legs, both.
The sensation hasn’t calmed down, I’ve had blood tests and all clear. Now waiting for a Neurologist appointment and an MRI.
I was really nervous to have my second shot but has it five days ago. The sensation hasn’t changed but I’m suffering from terrible anxiety through worrying taking the second will make it worse and that I’ll of done some serious harm to my body.

I am so glad I found this thread! I got my first dose March 29th and within a couple of weeks, I started noticing pins and needles in my toes and feet and some light tingling in my right hand along with some tingling in my face and my earlobe sometimes felt numb. I didn’t even think about the vaccine. Then I was constantly pulling muscles while working out, which sent me to the chiro in pain. I am pretty physically fit and this was odd because it was in multiple areas of my body all within 2 month’s time. Then I pulled the trap muscle in my shoulder blade and the pins and needles in my hands got so bad. My fingers felt like they weren’t working right and felt stiff and the tingling was traveling up my arm. I went to the orthopedic doc and they couldn’t find anything wrong. I stopped working out for a month and also did some research and found that wearing racerback sports bras that are too tight in the top of the shoulders can cause this due to nerve compression. I stopped wearing them for now and the hands have gotten much better, but that does not explain all of the other issues I had been having. It seemed like my nerves were on overdrive. It’s been a little over 4 months and I finally feel like things are improving quite a bit. I opted to skip the 2nd dose due to being concerned over negative reactions people were having (my mother being one of them). I am now glad I didn’t get the 2nd dose!

@summer Please advise if your tingling on head has gone away? How did you overcome this? The reason I asked is my child age 19 has head tingling sensation after 4th day (9Jul) of Pfizer vaccination. Until today, 9 Aug she still has that sensation.Hence we have postponed her 2nd jab to 6 weeks (to 21Auf) after her first dose ( was on 5July 2021) .

Please help to share your experience. We are worried.

I talked to a doctor today about my paresthesia. He told me he had several patients who described simmilar symptoms after pfizer vaccine ! He also told me he had patients with changes in menstrual cycles - either heavy periods or no periods at all... also patients with weeks of episodes of fatigue. He told me symptoms tend to dissapear slowly, which made me hopeful.

My own paresthesia got better these last days but it is still not gone completely. I still have episodes of nausea and also of fatigue I got my 1st shot on june 21 and 2nd on jul 26th.
