@lmkk yeah, the CDC, American college of obstetrics and gynecology, and society for maternal fetal medicine recommended it in pregnancy and breastfeeding. I knew I shouldn’t have done it. I hope to god this hasn’t given my baby any I’ll effects. While I was at the pharmacy to get it there was a person there who said she was a labor and delivery nurse and she was overheard me talking with the pharmacist (I had reservations, should’ve trusted my gut). She was like what a great Gordy to give your baby blah blah blah. I know not to listen to a stranger but it just felt like the pharmacy and her and everyone was like it’s okay do it and I ended up caving. I don’t know anyone who has had an issue with the shot so I figured I would maybe be okay. I do regret taking the shot every minute of every day. Good luck with everything! I hope you are well.

@jtranger I still have symptoms but they just occur less frequently. I am 11 weeks and two days from my one and only shot. Today I’m having a flare up. Weird feeling head and dizziness is worse with a low grade temp.

Hi Luke - I have had no change in my tingling hands and feet at all. It still fees about the same as it did a month ago just prior to getting the 2nd shot. I really seem to notice that my tingling hands are a lot worse in the night and when I first get up in the morning - once I am up and about I don’t really notice or think about it much.good luck with th 2nd shot and please keep us all posted how you go afterwards.

Thanks all for the kind words, Ill definitely keep everyone updated as to how I get on with the second dose.

Unfortunately I think its just going to be a waiting game for most of us. Im now thinking its going to be pretty much like this for the next few months at least before It goes away.
There are many others far worse off, its important to remember that. Its just infuriating that this has happened because the majority of us on here were forced to take the vaccine.

Not to downplay covid, but I am a young and fit guy. I would have much preferred to get the Virus than deal with these symptoms.

@sandervb I can feel you how to live with this. I become insomniac with sleepless nights, feel heavy head .. don't know if there is any hope where we can feel fully recovered and back to original life. I can only wish you with a speedy recovery.

Hello, about 3 days after my frist vaccine I was at working and started getting a tingling/crawling sensation in my legs. Over the next few days it moved to my arms then eventually my whole body on and off.
Its been a month since my shot and I have had days where ive barely noticed it, and other days where its much worse. The last few days have been bad.

Without sounding rude, I think you and others on here are not helping yourselves by obsessing over this.
I know its hard because its your body and its a new sensation, but by reading your posts I can tell that you are really worked up over this and believe me that anxiety will only be making your symptoms alot worse.

Try and relax, and be confident that your body will slowly get better.

Thanks Luke and not rude at all! This is something I've been trying to do for months (deep breathing/meditation/acupuncture etc). My Psych has actually now diagnosed me with severe health anxiety (and said I obsess over it way too much)..

I think some of us are very worried because it's taking so damn long to go away (5 mths so far for me!), and if it is anxiety feeding it, it concerns me that this may turn into a chronic condition lasting years if I can't deal with the underlying anxiety.. it's not something I can "think" my way out of..  I'm hoping the anxiety meds will help break the panic cycle I appear to be in..

I might also go back to the physio for some more work on the lower back.. my buzzing definitely settles down when I'm upright and not sitting or laying down indicating some kind of physical pinched nerve.. It also comes and goes, so some weeks it completely disappears. The advice I've had from 4 separate "consultants" has been poor imho and "muddied the waters" by saying it's not a pinched nerve and they don't know what it is?!?! but at least they ruled out the serious illnesses which they only appear interested in (MS etc)

I live in hope that the good periods increase in duration, and this keeps me positive 🙂

We also need to support each other so the forum is still good for that.. I know that some days I am absolutely suicidal and go into a complete panic, and need that support from others.

We may never find the answers we want, and my suspicion now, is that it's nothing to do with the vaccine. but we just want it to go away!

@jkro I also read about Epstein Barre being reactivated with COVID, and some talks about it contributing to long-haul COVID. I checked an EBV antibody panel and my antibodies were the highest level, > 750. I had mono 19 years ago so would have thought the antibodies would be much lower. My PCP was not sure what to make of it but I consulted Infectious Disease who did say it could have been a flare-up from the vaccine. I just finished two weeks of acyclovir and either it was a coincidence because of time, as I am now 17 weeks post my one Moderna vaccine, or it actually helped. It seems our symptoms really align with long-haul COVID so I am wondering if there is a correlation. The fatigue I was experiencing weeks 6-12 really mimicked how I felt with Mono. As someone else mentioned about feeling like it was a herpes outbreak, mono is in the herpes virus family so that would make sense too.

Abstract 10712: Mrna COVID Vaccines Dramatically Increase Endothelial Inflammatory Markers and ACS Risk as Measured by the PULS Cardiac Test: a Warning
Doctors are not fully aware of our situation and how many we are.
My first dose Pfizer was in August 30th. After symtoms including paraesthesias, itchiness, insomnia, arrythmias and tachycardia, I visited an allergiologist, a neurologist, asked consultation from an infectious disease expert. They all said I should proceed with 2nd dose.
Only 2 days ago, I visited the vaccination center and the doctor there told me to see a neurologist again, and one specializing in COVID vaccines side effects (!) because new evidence has come up. She also told me that these side effects are almost certain coming back after dose 2, but I should be well hydrated and relaxed and they should go away.
I am too scared to proceed with vaccination as I am now 32 weeks pregnant...
Hope everything goes well for all of us!

@miguelgr HI Miguel.  I am fully with you on all the symptoms you stated there. Did you ever find out what it was?
