Hi everyone, been having the same tingling in my hands and legs, 10 days after my first Astrazeneca vaccine. Anyone with Astrazeneca got this issue? Or just Pfizer?

How are you feeling now? Me too got the AZ jab.

One day after my second dose of Astrazeneca vaccine, 4 weeks ago (13 october 2021) , tingling started in my feet and the hands and face and tongue. i did MRI from brain and cervical MRI, i did EEG test, every thing was normal. my blood test also normal. i am 31 years old male and healthy without any disease.  The neurology doctor gave me gabapentin 100 mg which did not help much. i had 4 shots of Dexamethasone, which is steroid. i was better for few days but now i am not feeling normal. i think my feet and hands and arms muscles are weak and i dont now what to do...

How are you now?

@melly67 thank you for your reply. Its sad that so many of us are going through this but also comforting to know that its not just me. I work myself up into a state of thinking that whatever is going on in my body is just going to get worse and worse so im constantly on alert wondering what will happen next. Did you see a neurologist about any of this?

@dbbgrl123 thank you for replying. The tremors are very scary. Have you seen a neurologist since all of this started? I'm booked in again for 2 weeks but im thinking he will have no answers for me either. Although that might not be such a bad thing because I did convince myself this was MS at one point so im praying for a clean MRI and ANA.

Hello everybody. I just want to report. It is now 2 months after my second shot of asterazenca. The tingling, numbness and weaknees is 75% better. I dont feel tingling and numbness in the legs or hands. sometimes it comes for a short period of time and then it goes. The ringing in the ear is also 75% better.

However sience last week, i have a mild abdominal pain, in the lower right part of my stomach. i also had this pain after my first shot for one month. anybody has this broblem?

I hope everybody become healthy again ASAP.

How's your abdominal pain? I've also had the lower right sided abdominal pain on and off. No idea what it could be but only began after Pfizer jab.

Yes, mine started exactly few days after my first shot of asterazenca (these vaccines are almost simmilar). The mild pain is usually in the right side and lower part of abdominal. i also did the ultrasound, everything was normal. The doctor gave me Metronidazole 250mg, it is better now (maybe 50% better) but the pain comes and goes.

The pain is very mild but it makes you wonder why this is happening... i try not to think or concentrate on the pain and it helps me. Hope we all become healthy again.

@nawpan

Hey, no worries. I kind of avoid coming here unless I feel like I'm losing my mind as it all just makes me wanna cry.

I continue to improve...

But it's just not enough. This thing terrorised my body so much that it now broke my mental health too. I feel like I'm stuck in a nightmare. Cold and dark winter and clueless doctors don't help. I am definitely failing my kids now because of this, just wish it would clear off already. I know what I was like before this jab so I can tell it's definitely connected, I just can't prove it.

I try and stay positive but it's honestly brutal. I can relate to many posts here. I am certain that they now know about us and our symptoms so I worry they really haven't got a clue. But my dr is still optimistic that it's temporary. Thx for asking x

"...pins and needles (parasthesia) on my ankles which eventually spread"

"twitching all over my body, jerks while falling asleep, internal vibrations, burning feeling on skin, tremors, eye pain, twitching in abdomen, panic attacks, muscle cramps, pressure in ears, weakness (mostly in wrists), and a strange feeling in my head like it is full of water"

"I have also lost 10 kilos in the last 10 weeks. "

"I have seen a few drs, most of which laughed at me and said I have anxiety. I obviously do now because this is scary, no one has answers. I feel the medical system has failed us."

"I dont know at this point if I have good days or I am just used to dealing with these symptoms"

Hi Jess,

I am the same with the stuff I left in the quote box. Although I have had that watery feel in legs and I described it as full of air but my guess would be we are experiencing the same.

Also lost almost 10kilos (9 something)

I know exactly how you feel about this it's terrifying. I handed my symptom list to the doc and I felt crazy. But they are all true. They didn't care much, shame it couldn't happen to someone rich and important right?!

Many of my symptoms have calmed. But there is always something new to ruin my mood. My right arm keeps twitching uncontrollably these past few days. It used to burn instead and before that, feel torn and ripping. How fun. It makes no difference what I do it just starts. For me the vibration and buzzing only started months after other symptoms though. My palpitations are occasional. It messed up my period too. Now I'm worried it messed up my hormones.

It's so hard to just carry on being constantly bullied by something invisible. I hope it stops soon for all of us. Carry on x

Finally I found this website!

I did my first shot of Pfizer 10 days ago (27 years old), because of my job, first day was ok, only pain in the arm. But just after, started to feel numbness in my hands or legs, and tinglings in hands, feet, and hips.

I don't know what to do, I didn't talked to a doc yet, yesterday was not good at all, today was better, went for a walk during one hour, everything was ok. Some people are feeling better now and healed ?

@helenn thank you for replying. How long have you had your symptoms for? Some days I feel like its all starting to go away and then it hits again.

@jessm I understand 💯. Especially that we have no confort from most Medical expert. Because a day, a month, a timeline - one can endure but the unknown path is not one we want to be on. I know that I did see this and it makes sence and I am a strong believer that we maybe less severe cases of this - similar like actual long haulers. https://health.ucdavis.edu/newsroom/news/headlines/antibodies-mimicking-the-virus-may-explain-long-haul-covid-19-rare-vaccine-side-effects/2021/11

No, I didn't. But I got the MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, extensive blood work - apparently I'm healthy...but Next I am doing a nerve conduct test (which can bring on the neurologist onboard) and seeing a rheumatologist. My dr thinks it's axiety so he's not pushing for much testing.

I also saw an allergiest, and essentially if you aren't dying then you don't have a reason not to be excluded from the queue of vaccines - in Canada.

Although, some have seen a neurologist on here. I didn't see anything from what I read.

I hope that you can enjoy some of your holiday season. Happy holidays. I know that's been hard for me. Pretending, because others don't understand really. You sit there with the tremors - hoping for the moment you can crawl back to bed where it's safe.

I guess what I hope to tell you is that your struggles today, won't be your struggles of the future. Its for sure a life-ruinner and barely copping in the moment, but there is nothing to prove that this is long term. I say that to myself too because I keep thinking "game-over".

Has anyone tried primidone for the internal tremors and buzzing? My regular doctor prescribed them. Then yesterday the rheumatologist prescribed low dose muscle relaxer and some prednisone. Anyone had success with those? Ive also been to an infectious disease specialist who thinks I have neurological lymes. My blood work doesn’t indicate that tho.I do agree that my brain and spine have been affected. He’s prescribed 2 mos of doxycycline. I just want to be careful about what I take bc I don’t want to aggravate them situation worse

@sahmed Hello, I didn't get any MRI. I just been dealing with it. I still sometimes have the wetness feeling. But it no longer helps. I try to eat clean so I won't build up anymore inflammation in my body. How are you doing?
