Volunteers – Resources You Can Share

Raise Awareness

You can educate your friends and family about vestibular disorders by sharing VeDA's articles, infographics, fliers, and graphics!

Presentations:

PowerPoint presentations (in PDF format) are available on the following topics by request (files too large to upload here). These can be used to guide a community presentation, e.g., at a senior center, club, etc.

  • Overview of Vestibular Disorders
  • Balance & Aging
  • Cognitive and emotional issues
  • Concussion
  • Pediatric vestibular disorders
  • Spirituality & gratefulness
  • Tai Chi
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy
  • Yoga

Note: You should be at least somewhat familiar with the topic you are presenting.

Forms

  • Social Media Share: Use this form if you have content you would like to request be shared on VeDA's social media platforms.
  • Ambassador Activity Report: Let us know what you're doing to raise awareness! This helps us when reporting to donors, and motivates other volunteers.
  • Volunteer Hours: Please report the number of hours you have spent volunteering with VeDA. This is used in grant and other financial reporting.
  • Support Group Meeting Announcement: If you are a support group leader, please tell us when your next meeting is so we can help you promote it. If you meet on a regular basis (e.g. 1st Monday of every month) we can extrapolate all the dates. If you have a special topic for a particular meeting, let us know. These are included in our monthly e-blast, V-News.
  • Support Group Attendance: As a member of the VSGN you are required to report the number of people who attend each support group. This is vital to our advocacy efforts, and may be used in research projects that track the effectiveness of support groups for people with vestibular disorders.
