... a long time. Getting proper sleep is super important. I think it might help with the healing, but for sure it helps with my outlook. For example when I started getting a flare up this morning, I was getting discouraged, and then I said to myself, "At least you were able to sleep last night." The sleepless nights are truly the worst. I also take 3 Gabapentin per night for nerve pain, but I don't think this helps.
The flare ups are so weird. I have no way of understanding them. It's like some of the poison got released from somewhere in the body and ...
@jpgdubgmail-com Hi Jean. I am taking Claritan for the Itching. It seems more intense in hot weather.
@dgingoglia yes. Almost back to normal. Almost no tingling/buzzing anymore. Still Itching though. How are you feeling ?
@jpgdubgmail-com Jean, I know exactly the sensation(s) you mean. I feel that Itching too and it's 100% how you described: it feels deep down, not at the surface. I've been experiencing it more and more lately. It's tough for sure. Thinking of you. All my sensations (including the burning) do seem to be worsened when I'm stressed. Argh!

... my symptoms have developed:
Same day at night felt tired, the day after felt like an unusual heat coming like from the inside of my head but no fever, when tried to shower I felt very sensitive to hot water when I usually loved almost broiling water on my skin. Some minor Itching on the injection site (right arm) and moderate anxiety. Since everything started, I had been taking care of my family to the point that we never got infected. My key and best friend was the continuous use of face mask.
So, two days after I noticed that my right hand got numbed w ...
... not scratching your head about it, wondering "what's going on". At first, with my symptoms I thought it was the vaccine, but then a random Doctor gave me the impression that it couldn't be the vaccine which got me searching for over a month for answers. That sucked big time. Reading about others with these same symptoms is what got me clear again about what's going on with me. And then I finally got an appt with my Doctor and she told me that she has other patients with the same symptoms after the vaccine too.
I haven't had the balance issues, bu ...
... it will eventually work itself out. I'm a teacher, so I'm off of work right now, and that helps. I'm a little worried for when I have to start back up again in a few weeks.
I'm running again a few times a week which seems to help, at least with my attitude towards all this. Also, I'm usually in bed by 9:30 or 10:00.
Are you having tingling and Itching at the same time? For me they don't happen simultaneously. I'll have an itchy day OR a day of tingling, but they don't really happen together. I've been journaling about this as well so that I can ...
Hi csqut. I've had tingling, Itching, and generally "off" feeling, especially on my skin since my 2nd vaccine, which has been about 3 months now. I spoke to my doctor and she said she has other patients with these symptoms since they've gotten their vaccines. I'm taking a nerve drug to deal with the tingling, and an allergy medicine for the Itching, which both seem to work. I know someone in his nineties who got asthma after his second vaccine, and now it's finally going away for him, 5 plus months later. So I'm mentally preparing myself for this to las ...
... breaking out and Itching ferociously, which I usually just put up with. I remembered that for poison ivy outbreaks an oatmeal bath is considered to be good, so I got a handful of oats, wet them and used it to scrub my forearms. All rash, red streaks, and Itching quickly disappeared!
I started wondering if eating oats might help with this crazy reaction going on systemically in my body, so I decided to do a Google search. What I found was interesting...

Hi all, I haven't posted anything for a while so a quick recap and update. I had 3 pfizer, June and July 2021 then booster Jan 2022. For 6 months after first 2 shots I noticed hot flushes in lower leg and incredible Itching on lower legs. After 3rd booster things got bad with pins needles, hands feet legs head face etc plus very bad numbness in my feet. I also had a strange feeling like brain fog and trouble sleeping. This went on for 2 months until I caught Covid April 2022 when it got even worse for the week I had Covid then gradually died down. Since the ...
Hi there. Sorry to hear about your mum. I’d encourage you to read through other posts which may provide clues to your mothers condition.
I cannot relate to the pus in the finger however some of her other symptoms sound familiar. Prickly pain and numbness is a sign of neuropathy (nerve inflammmation), feeling like she wants to faint is a sign of POTS (postural tachycardia) and cognitive impairment is a sign of brain fog. Has your mother suffered from Covid, recently had the vaccine or any other infection in the past year? Conventional drs may not help and you’ll have to go private to seek the right blood tests. You should do a full autoimmune screening on her and make sure to include auto antibodies, cancer screening, sugar, a vitamin panel and the most common bacterial and viral infections. Secondly, has your mother attempted any treatments? Make she drinks 3l of water a day, eats an anti inflammatory diet, and takes a vitamin b complex. To treat nerve pain she can take pregabalin or gabapentin. Traditional pain killers may make things worse, id cautiously suggest low dose aspirin as opposed to paracetamol however this may not be appropriate if your mother has a bleeding disorder. Invest in a blood pressure monitor, oximeter and blood sugar device you can use at home to monitor her condition and give her all the reassurance that she will recover. If I’m not mistaken it sounds like she is dealing with an immune related condition such that is inflammatory. Steroids, antihistamines, anticoagulants and vitamins may calm this down but only do patch work and don’t necessarily fix the cause.
... a needle (maybe a bite), she thought it was strange but then after nothing of it and continued. After a while, she felt pain and pulsating in the exact finger, she went to the woman she gets her nails done by to take off the nail polish and see what’s disturbing the nail, the woman squeezed the nail and pus came out. First, my mother thought it was an infection of some sort and contacted anyone she could, the GP, they did blood tests - they showed that her analysis is fine. We called the ambulance - they came, all they did was checked her sugar levels and h ...
