Updating my side effects diary

May 16 (in the evening) - got vaccinated (Pfizer)

May 17 - sore arm

May 18 - May 21 - feeling great

May 21 - headache

May 22 - headache

May 23 - chills, felt feverish with no temperature

May 24 - May 26 - brain fog and dizziness

May 27 - May 28 - brain fog and clogged ears

May 29 - brain fog, headache

May 30 - brain fog, headache

May 31 - mostly brain fog

As of now brain fog is the most persistent side effect, I have had it for the last 7 days and it just won't go.

I had the j and j vaccine in April with expected side affects of fever, chills, fatigue and massive headache, but was fine by the next morning. I've never had any vestibular problems accept occasional tinnitus. I'm very healthy without any other health problems, no meds, always had low blood pressure. I exercise about 5 days a week. Living well and eat healthy then on May 17th woke up with vertigo for the first time. Unreal experience with nausea, headache and tinnitus. Dizziness and vertigo that first day. I was dizzy with mild headache, tinnitus, and a sensation of being disorientated or detached from reality. A couple of days I had nausea and fatigue. This lasted for 10 days. I never had a fever with all this. Now I also have a strange rash that had arrived about 2-3 weeks after the shot on the back of my neck and it's finally starting to go away. So it was shot, few weeks, then rash, then a few weeks and the vestibular stuff. What the heck? I never get any of this stuff. I'm always well. First went to an Urgent Care but he found nothing. Went to an ENT who poo-pooed the whole thing and no ear infection was seen. Audiologist checked for BPPV - Nope. I have excellent hearing though. ENT said I probably just thought I was having some symptoms because I was anxious. Oh yeah, also noticed some pins and needle sensations on my lip and tongue one of the days I wasn't feeling right.  ENT said I don't have a brain tumor. I said, "Well, I wouldn't know unless I were tested...". How annoying. My blood pressure was abnormally high over the past month but nobody seems too concerned. Everything has cleared up except what's left of the rash. After reading these posts, I'm wondering if the shot reactivated the shingles virus, hence the rash, but not a blistering rash, so also was worried it was lyme, but no fever. Just perplexing to me that doctors have no curiosity about these things and only want to treat symptoms or tell us we're imagining our symptoms.

The body has a way of telling us it's been infected by a virus, bacteria or some other pathogen. It also has a way of telling us when something isn't working right. All of this is done through symptoms. The symptoms aren't the illness, but a warning light. Why do doctors ignore this and treat these instead of investigating more?

The CDC isn't interesting in hearing about or publishing the long term bad effects of the vaccines. They and the government have an agenda and we are the lab rats. Yes, it's a necessary evil to eradicate Covid but let's not be fooled. It's about the numbers. A few must be sacrificed or suffer for the greater good. I don't know if I'll ever get a covid vaccine again if needed. I've lived a quality life. Quality is far more important than quantity for me. My heart goes out to those who suffer chronically from vestibular conditions.

This is my previous post:

https://vestibular.org/forum/dizziness/covid-19-vaccine-side-effects/paged/220/#post-6890

And here is my

✨✨❤️Countinuing report:

🌸Since 27 May to Today(31) is 5th day.

Today, I think the tired and weak is better, also the slight dizziness. I think i slowly feel better.

I forgot to mentioned in my previous post that since that day I got 2nd shot,I also had stomachache, has diarrhea and contispation(at the same time😂). I still can sleep good.  I can entertaining myself with iPad,game, reading news, watching movies. (For hours/also I slept kinda late 🥺)

I think you guys should not panic and think positive, you need stay positive ,so you don’t get anxious because anxiety can make health goes bad.  May be because I had experienced with this kind of vertigo,so I know how to deal with it. In the past, vertigo happened to me when my blood sugar pressure goes low. What I have been doing is take a cup of water, add in sugar ,mixed it and drink the whole cup all. After that I slowly feel better, like my eyes feel bright and awake. My body feel better together with the vertigo, slight dizziness. Today I remembered what I did in the past , so drank a whole cup of water mixed sugar. And actually feel better.
- and I don’t know if I should /or need take ibuprofen. After the 2nd shot day, all I took was aceminophen for pain relief of my arm and headache.

I don’t have headache anymore. The arm I think it will recover soon. I don’t feel numb, sored. I also can move it easily up and down, not like the first day after took the shot 😂.

What left is constipation, slight diarrhea and slight dizzies, slight vertigo ( need carefull when turn left right,up down..)

—That’s all for today! ;-; I hope my side effects not gonna get more worst ! And hope everyone will recover soon!
will countinue report!

If moderators think this is not useful, they should delete it. It is all very true.

I found this discussion a few weeks ago when researching a family member's persistent condition after second Moderna shot. Maybe this will help someone. Be warned, it isn't great. I hope it doesn't scare anyone unnecessarily. But I hope someone can be helped if they are the same. We had never known anything about vertigo before, this was all new.

Summary: the vertigo symptoms were not a vaccine side effect at all. It was a brain tumor that we did not know about. And also an urgent need to drain excess fluid. Emergency surgery was a success, and recover so far looking good.

Please don't panic. But do see your doctor and take it seriously if not responding to vertigo treatment as expected. We had no idea about the tumor. None at all. The tumor was large and had been there for some time.

I am just trying to help.

Details

  • 46 years old, perfect life of health to date.
  • Moderna, first shot had no side effects.
  • second shot 4 weeks ago.
  • within 24 hours of second shot, onset of many vertigo symptoms mentioned in this discussion. Especially intense dry retching, nausea, dizzy.
  • Prior to the second shot, no health complaints evident at all. Seemingly very healthy. We suspected nothing.
  • After two days of strong symptoms, they 90% subsided for 4 days. Then returned strongly for a day. For that week we dismissed it as an unlucky strong lingering vaccine reaction.
  • Another week of side effects coming and going. Dizzy, nausea, hard to walk straight, esp in AM. Tired. Depressed, moody. Heavy head feeling like the back of head being pulled backwards. No headache. Hearing was ok. Eyesight was ok.
  • Consecutive days feeling very well caused us to dismiss the problem. Then other days not so great. In cycles. Went to ENT at start of the third week.
  • two weeks of ENT. Side effects mentioned come and go, trending worse. Lots of brain fog and anxiety. The anxiety was persistent and new for this person. We thought it was a reaction to the drugs, including steroids. Referred to neurologist on 3rd ENT visit, saw him that afternoon.
  • MRI first thing next morning
  • Immediate same day emergency surgery to remove the brain tumor and address emergency swelling and fluid.
  • We learned of the tumor and had it removed on the same day. It was very intense.

Acoustic Tumor/Cerebello-Pointine Angle Tumor, complex. Posterior fossa vascular tumor with severe vasogenic edema, mass effect.

Hydrocephalus, exterior ventricular emergency drainage.

Please don't panic.

So very sorry for your family member.  What is an acoustic tumor?

@markm I discussed this matter with a professor from Germany and he said it is an autoimmune response. Though, where to find a doctor to cue it?

@dizzyfromvaccine I am in the UK so I had AZ, brave ha? I tell you I searched all over the internet and couldn't find any forum from British reporting it while I know many people suffering from it. There is a self-report but I guess it's just getting to the rubbish bin. I talked to a professor in Germany and he guided me to see a good immunologist that I can't find in the UK. I have been calling all private hospitals in the country.

@saraka

i personally got no help from drs except this one who is quirky and researches stuff like crazy.

maybe lots of Vitamin C because that also helps inflammation and cleans the cells I think.
