Not really. I did have unusually high blood pressure (uncharacteristically high) in the first 3 months or so after the vaccine. And a little bit of GI distress. Both gone. My neuropathy symptoms (assuming they don’t get worse) are annoying and at times uncomfortable but don’t stop me from doing anything. I think about people who have heart issues, dizziness, fatigue, etc. and pray their symptoms improve.

@pepms

See my post on page 148. I also can have a shivering / goosebumps feeling in feet and lower calves. My feet like cold better than heat. Heat can be uncomfortable / burning. The symptoms usually feel a bit better in the morning. Symptoms first started mid December 2021, about 4 weeks after Covid booster and progressively got worse until March / April. Since then they have stabilized but sometimes flare.

@r30953 thanks , you had already answered me , I hope it improves , I haven’t had the sfn test but all the others have been negative , I stopped caffeine and neurologist put me on amitryptiline and it tones down the sensations, started taking NAC today to see if it makes it better , will keep updating !

@mugwump Hi. One step forward then two back. I was hoping you would be better now after your glutathione treatment. Can I ask how many IVs did you receive and did it provide any relief? Have you seen a functional doctor by any chance? I few people have gotten covid antibody tests and their antibody levels are high. Apparently countries have different metrics so it's hard to compare, but one theory is the additional antibodies are what is causing the issues. If you search antibodies on the forum you will find links.

Can I ask how long did it take for amitriptyline to tone down the sensations? And which ones specifically?

@buzzgirl I first started 12.5mg at night and took for about 2 weeks but from my other symptoms another doctor changed my med to a combination one that also has amitriptyline but 5mg, and the sensations (tingling and prickling throughout body) returned , just yesterday I increased only the ami to 11mg and I think it could be a couple of days to see if they get lower intensity again, it’s been a rollercoaster , I have periods of 2-3 days where I don’t feel any and then they come back

Hi, I have been following this forum for a number of months and it has really helped that you are all sharing.

It has been 8 months since my second Astra Zeneca vaccine. After the first I was tired and not walking as far as usual but didn’t connect it to the vaccination. I just thought I was working too hard. Within 24 hours of the second my left knee and ankle were collapsing. I then developed shoulder pain and numbness at my left shoulder. Strange tingling and creeping sensations worked down my left arm, then left leg, then right arm and started on ny left leg over several weeks. One weekend I was almost completely paralysed. I have had shortness of breath, dizziness, incontinence, trembling fingers, muscles spasms,heartburn coming and going. I can now walk about 100metres on a bad day, 400m on a good. I cannot raise my heart rate or my vision swims. Certain muscles I cannot feel at all on my left, others fatigue very quickly and switch off.

I have had multiple MRIs and nerve conduction studies. The scans of my peripheral nerves lit up with gadolinium in Oct 2 showing peripheral neuropathy in my shoulders and hips.

I was diagnosed with MS 3 years ago after another reaction to a medication set of a demyelination episode. It was the only lesion on my brain. The vaccine has no impact on my brain or spine.

I have had steroids courses 3 times and numerous IVIG infusions for the last 4 months. I have been taking baclofen to help the muscle spasms. I have also been having B vitamin injections, alpha lipoid acid, NAC etc etc etc.

Nothing seems to be working and my muscles are showing signs of wasting.

The neurologists are agreeing now that it is the vaccine and are talking about potential reboots of my immune system using either a low dose old chemo drug or other even more extreme measures.

My daughter currently has Covid and has been very ill. It makes me nervous about what would happen if I got that as well.

How are you now? Any successful treatments?

Thanks for sharing your update. That is great you’re feeling better. Maybe time will heal and everyone will recover soon.

Take care!

@apnp23 How are you now? I was perfectly fine before the jab, too! Similar issues. It’s almost been a year for me

@ryedog32 hey there

How are you? Did you check your Igg levels again since January? How is the MGUS progressing?

I also have IgA lambda band!

Also witnessing cancer rates going parabolic! It's outrageous...
