Started a few days after pfizer dose 1 for me. My GP did acknowledge its a "rare" side effect that seems to go away with time. Although it did disappear for a while, I am still getting it randomly in both hands and feet 3 month later. Thankfully its not stopping me from life, but I definitely dont want to take dose 2 now as I dont want to risk things getting worse.

I have done a bit of research and vitamin B12/ fish oil seems to be helpful. It may be connected with anxiety as well so its important to be concious of that and try to keep a positive and calm attitude. I am crossing fingers there will be an exemption for people like us who had sideeffects after the first dose so we are not limited in what we can and cant do.

@andyl89 Yes it is quite tension like and can move around. Sometimes it feels like air pressure or a light headedness - very hard to explain.  It was really bad last night so I'm hoping it's a short lived flare. Eye strain has been a big issue. Ive been for an eye check and they say my sight hasn't changed but something feels "off".

@spencer Sorry you're going through it. I got the red and white hands, buzzing and lightheadness as well. Although doctors can't help it's probably worth going just to get it documented. Hopefully we will be acknowledged eventually.

@davidl @biancax08 Wondering if your numbness has shifted and if anything seems to be working for you. My toes are fairly numb and there's loss of sensation on most of my feet, ankles and up through my legs. But I also have losses on my finger tips, arms, neck, face and head. It all started 9 days after my 2nd Moderna with my big and 2nd toes on both feet going numb. The twitches, electric currents up my leg, tingling, and pins and needles have mostly subsided and thankfully so too the anxiety and insomnia. I do feel like I have brain fog, however. Wondering what is happening for y'all and if you are in touch (that word is starting to bother me) with others experiencing the same symptoms.

I pray everyone here gets better soon.

I have been experiencing the peripheral neuropathy, burning, tingling and needles in my limbs for weeks, along with particularly brutal insomnia which has included some sleepless nights and I’m now averaging maybe 5 hours of total (broken) sleep on other nights.  I was a deep sleeper before taking the vaccine.  I have also developed a noticeable increase in resting heart rate and exercise intolerance.  I have mild tinnitus and intermittent vertigo.

I am 9 weeks out from my first dose of Pfizer from August 2021.  This was to comply with an employer mandate.  Now i hope this gradually subsides so I can continue to work long term and provide for my young children.  No preexisting conditions before the shot.

It is sad that many doctors seem to be dismissive of these side effects or that they just don’t understand how to treat them because of the novelty of the vaccine and general lack of publicized disclosure of side effects.

It is encouraging to see that with the passage of time most people seem to be improving.

Feel better soon.

@eileenwh Our symptoms are exactly the same. I also went for an eye test and eye scan with no issues. I really feel your pain. For me this had been the worst side effect. I hope we’re both feeling better soon.

I don’t know who posted about weird bumps under the skin but I have them too. I got a biopsy of one yesterday. I will update with results.

have any of you seen an immunologist? I’m going to see one that specializes in drug allergy. I’m curious what any of you have been told?

@spencer yeah I am 7 weeks post first Pfizer and will see immunology at my local university on Nov 9. I’m hoping to find out any answers. I also have been trying to track down any researchers I can to help. I feel so helpless and frustrated. Good luck to you!

@mika12345 Hi there. I am a 20-year-old female from England. I am having the same thing as you - tingling and numbness in my fingers and toes for hours at a time. I had my first dose June 2021 and was fine. About 3 days after my second dose (September 2021), I got tingling and shooting nerve pains everywhere in my body. After about 5 weeks my symptoms seemed to go away. Now (Week 8) I am getting this numbness and tingling and everything seems to be coming back. Did you get your second dose in the end?
