Hi all, I have been to Acupuncture treatment twice, one earlier this week and another one last week. From yesterday I started to have fever and developed mild night sweat for two nights now. But i recovered from pain fully. And i was very pleased with them.

@dbbgrl123 Hi! My doctor prescribed 5 days of prednisone, and it took my numbness and tingling almost completely away. It did come back after the 5 days, but it has been almost two months, and it’s a lot better.

@djm-21

I was eagerly waiting for Novavax but I didn't see how it would be launched in the US before the spring, so I decided to get the booster shot. I had a really bad reaction to the second shot, including pretty bad dizziness for about a month. This time, I experienced dizziness,  but the worst thing has been tingling in my hands, feet, and face,  as well as pain and a burning sensation in both feet.

I got the booster 2 days ago. Immediately after I felt a shooting pain in the back of my arm and rib cage and chest area.

I thought it was just a muscle cramp or something.  After that, I started to feel pain on the right foot followed by the left foot followed by the tingling sensation on both feet, hands, and face.

The doctor's assistant said the vaccine might have pinched a nerve...

Last night the burning sensation was so strong I didn't think I was going to be able to sleep. I eventually got a couple of hours of rest.

I've been reading so much about this and I'm scared about the risk of neurological problems over the long-term.

There was a video on YouTube about a patient who said that they probably hit a nerve when they administered his shot and then he ended up with severe ringing in the ears, dizziness, and tingling for over 8 months now. He was still trying to find a solution.

He said that if he had taken a dose of Medrol pack he could have avoided what happened.

I'm wondering  if that's true. I wonder if I'm letting time go by and I should be doing something before it gets worse. Any thoughts about this?

Quick Update folks..

Good news! I've managed 15 days with little to no buzzing, on day 16 mild buzzing in left leg but not as intense as the (every 3 second) buzz in right leg. That's the longest period in 6mths so headed in the right direction!

Good days are at around 50% and I try to keep telling myself this. Anxiety is still there but not as bad.. (40mg Citalopram might be working as it's been 6-7 weeks on the higher dose)

I also had the Pfizer booster a couple of weeks ago, touch wood all ok..

@medee Hi! All symptoms have gone apart from the tension headaches which are there from mid morning after I get up until early evening when they seem to ease off. Overall, I think the headaches have eased off ever so slightly, so hoping they’ll ease off with time.

Can anyone tell me how to search for keywords like "Mast Cell Activation Syndrome" for all pages in this topic instead of searching page by page?

@sabsab I'm so glad to hear you got better, I got the booster 3 days ago and regret it. Tingling, muscle twitching, pain... I wish I could turn back time. but your comment gave me some hope.

Has anyone considered bioenergetic healing? I'm thinking going that way, currently experiencing my darkest period with these symptoms. Love to all and god bless.

For anyone who is anxious about getting upcoming vaccines: Novavax - which is is made by more conventional technologies than let's say mRNA vaccines - has been approved in Europe for use since a week or so. Most literature is quite unanimous about the side effects of this vaccine: "Novavax's side effects are relatively mild and similar to commonly reported side effects for Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson."

To all in the US and outside Europe, I hope the FDA also gives the green light asap.

Some of the literature:

I've got my sights set on Novavax too after the disaster I suffered because of Pfizer.

@divaeyez37 around the time I messaged you last time, the wetness feeling got really bad and I had to go to the ER. I was feeling liquid moving around my head and it felt so real. I got a cat scan of the head and it came out normal thankfully. But my glucose level was high, I wonder if that causes it? I think eating clean definitely helps, I am glad you’re doing it, I’m also going to try!

Hi @sahmed did you ever get any information on what was creating the feeling of liquid in your head? Just yesterday my son mentioned the same thing that he felt like he had water in his head. I thought maybe he was having a dizzy spell as he has been suffering from earache after a heavy cold but since I read your comment now I'm wondering what exactly he was feeling.
