Hi just wondering how you are going with the numbness feeling? I too have this and it doesn't seem to be improving at all! Anything that has helped?

Did you ever find out if this was the case? I am beginning to think it may be a case of CIDP.

Has anyone here with symptoms caught covid? Did your symptoms get worse? I have not fully healed from my symptoms and to say the least I am terrified to contract the virus!

Well I went to the neurologist who ruled out CIDP today. He said he is seeing this reaction in a number of patients but couldn't really say what exactly it is. My symptoms are the tingling in the hands and feet along with toe numbness. I also have brain fog and headaches. I was experiencing nerve pain and burning pain in my back before too.

Are your symptoms getting better ?

@hailey Sorry to hear that you a dealing with the same thing. Yes, I still have partial numbness along my toes and feet and somewhat up my ankles and a crazy, very numb 4 inch oval patch just below my right knee on outer part of the leg. Just weird. Also I have it a bit on my finger tips and very reduced sensation to the top of my hands and top of the arms. And finally, I definitely have lost sensation on my neck and now especially the back of my neck. I have had other areas of numbness on my face (esp my nose), along my back, butt and elsewhere and either that has disappeared or perhaps I have gotten used to it.

As far as what has helped, I think alpha lipoic acid has been important, but I'm really not sure. Time seems to be the most important factor. Again, all this started in last April, 9 days after my second Moderna and beginning with my toes. What does it look like for you?

I received my pfizer booster on 12/29. Since then, I have been experiencing strange sensations that started in my left hand and moved throughout my body. I have pinching, numbness and tingling. It has seemed to improve since week one but is worse at night and my sleep is very disrupted. It feels as if my circulation is lacking and things are just "wrong". I wake up flushed, fluttering chest, and increased anxiety. My doctor chalked it up to swollen lymph nodes creating "camps" throughout my body to battle the vaccine and that my immune system was doing its job. However, he said it should be resolved in 2 weeks and this is week 2. Has anyone else had this response from your booster only? I had no issues with my first 2 doses last May.

Everybody who is experiencing just these terrible symptoms remember it's going to take time, I was starting to not believe that along this nightmare of a journey but it's true. I received my 2nd Moderna on April fools day (IRONIC) anyway symptoms didn't start until mid May and different symptoms just kept coming after that. I went through the whole routine, ER visit ,doctors then a Neurologist and blood tests ,MRIs all tests were normal and yet here I was with all these symptoms. Fast forward to mid December and I was feeling really good and then a mild relapse 2 weeks later (no big deal) and now I pretty much feel 100% ,if I can remember what that feels like.

Believe me I know it's difficult but do your best to stay positive, for me I took vitamins and supplements and tried to keep my routine as much as possible. I wish the best of health to everyone, it will get better.

3 weeks post Pfizer first dose.

I still have tingling and numbness on the sides of my body as well as across my torso.

I am reading online that for many this goes away in 6 to 8 weeks.

Any idea what is causing this or if it will stop?

Hi,
I recently received the Moderna shot and have been having issues. Numbness and tingling in both arms and legs and vision changes (floater eyes). I’m reading the same side effects that others are experiencing and glad that we can share our experiences. I wish they let the public know before hand. It’s been a week now and the numbness keeps me up.

Hi, I have the same issue, started about 6 days after the Pfizer shot and I have had that for about 2 weeks now.  I have numbness, tingling, pin and needles in arms legs hands feet and but I can feel it more on my left side.  I also have eye twitching (left side) and dizziness (started about 12 days after the vaccination).  Where did you read that many of these symptoms go away in 6 or 8 weeks?  I hope that is true.

Hi,
I recently received the Moderna shot and have been having similar issues. Numbness and tingling in both arms and legs and vision changes (floater eyes). I am hesitant to get the second shot and would like others to know before hand.
