I have previously talked about my initial covid infection almost 2years ago now, during first uk lockdown which was quite rough. Had a pfizer vax 1year and 3months later and experienced seisure like tremors, pins and needles, papitations, dizziness and severe dehydration which put me off from having the rest.
My boyfriend had 2 pfizer shots and was scheduled for a booster yesterday however he decided his social life is too important so he attended a Christmas party a couple days before and managed to get covid. Unsurprisingly since uk is battling an omicron tsunami
On the first day the flow tests were neg even though he was already coughing and felt feverish. Yesterday He did a PCR test and I convinced him to do one more lat flow test and it showed positive.
I tested negative but I am now required to self isolate and I will for sure not get away easily.
Now the scary part is that yesterday I noticed that my lips were super dry so I put some lip balm on and went to work. Several hours later after wearing the mask I noticed red sores forming in the corner of my mouth which later turned out to be filled with puss. At the same time I started feeling pain under my chin but no noticeable lymph node growth. Later last night I notice more tiny white bumps on my gum and started having more noticeable lymph and ear pain. I have never had frickin herpes in my life. Based on the appearance and symptoms it looks like herpes. Not to mention me and my boyfriend have been growing apart and not had any intimate interaction in the past 8months or so, not even kissing as sad as it is, nor did I seek that from other people as I have been depressed af.
I looked it up and it seems that latent covid infections can cause primary or reactivation of hsv which is a total nightmare. Waiting to have proper confirmation but t's probably omicron and herpes in my case. If I can I will post any further progress on our cases.
Please take care and try not to get exposed to huge viral loads of covid if you can help it.
@elena1690 do you feel like the back of your head and neck is lumpy, like your muscles are all in a bunch? I think that also makes me dizzy because my head muscle move and then my muscle tremble. I have trouble holding my head up. My muscles don't follow what my head wants them to do. They are weak and struggle. Then add dizziness.

Is anyone else having really crazy dreams?
Since taking my 1st jab of Pfizer, I've been having disturbing dreams and nightmares.
Me! At first they were horrible nightmares and I would cry before bed and now they just are super weird and don’t make sense.
Me too...super weird and dont make sense. Even during day time, no long after i close my eye to take a rest, i will be awaken with weird things i saw and so so close to my eyes.
Small update. I had my second shot in July, and have had vertigo off and on ever since. I've had a few good days off and on here and there, but still suffer for a few days a week with feeling sick and vertigo.
I paid privately for a full blood panel last Monday, and got the results today. One thing that stood out is I have a high white blood cell count of something called Eosinophils - I guess these are elevated in immune disorders, and can sometimes be vaccine induced. If they are high for a while they start damaging tissues.
So not sure where to go from there, I'll likely engage a doctor or an endocrinologist and see what they say. When I took glucocorticosteroids for ten days, my symptoms mostly resolved - and apparently the glucocorticosteroids cause Eosinophils to reduce and die. Eosinophils are actually pro-inflammatory, and are associated in allergy responses. So it's interesting.
Just popping my head in, I’m still a mess but having more frequent good days which I’ll take as a win. Wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year. Here’s hoping 2022 brings us some much needed relief. Take care everyone 🙂
Does anyone have jerks on and off? Like one day you get it and then for few days it isn't there and then again get jerks while sleeping at random places of the body?

I have emailed senator Ron Johnson. I suggest all of you on here email him.

I also felt better temporarily after taking steroids. I have started an antihistamine and will try steroids again sometime next week. Maybe my second round of steroids will knock it out longer or for good. Lots of people have mentioned feeling a little better with an antihistamine so maybe you are on to something?
Let me know how second round goes for you. I still have enough here for another round too, but after the first round mine came back so wasn’t sure another round made sense. Yes antihistamines help, but I’m worried I’ll become dependent on them so I’ve tried not to use them every day. I have been doing vestibular rehab as well and it doesn’t seem like a smart idea to do them when I am not feeling lots of symptoms.

@jkro What did Dr. Murphy say in your communication with him? Dan Longo was also listed in that article. I would be curious to know if they have any connections in research related to the vaccines. Unfortunately, it feels like we would get more support if these were symptoms we had in response to getting Covid versus getting the vaccines. I do have hope though that each episode or flareup that I have had has lessened in intensity and severity with it taking 3-4 weeks for me to get as close to normal as I can possibly say I can be. My thought is if the antibodies are diminishing over time then eventually we should all go back to normal. I'm wondering if weight and height should be a consideration in dosage and boosters.
@medee I could open the link. here it is reposted.
