I called the covid-19 helpline yesterday (in Austrwlia) to tell them my adverse reactions and they transferred me to a lady for help and info. She was very nice but like everyone I speak too, I get a similar answer. These drugs are new and we don'tΒ  really know what's happening! Best she could tell me is report it to TGA.

On another note..... has anyone tried Lecithin? If so has it helped with the tingling and numbness?

My tinnitus is starting to drive me a little nuts!

Β

I started taking 10,000 mg of B12, NAC, and Alpha-Lipoic Acid and that's helped control the pins and needles.Β  The tingling sensations still kick in from time to time but it's a lot better.Β  Doesn't help with the muscle weakness at all though.

@kim-h sorry, I missed your reply some how. I was given an antidepressant by my neurologist and had so much hope in it helping me but it made me even more depressed and I stopped taking them. The last few weeks I felt so much better but I feel im now going backwards again. Its so hard to keep my mind positive when these symptoms can be so intense. They lessen and then come back with a vengeance. And because they are so similar to MS symptoms its just all so scary. I felt my muscle twitching was starting to go away and now it's constant again, along with many other things. Its such a vicious cycle of anxiety amplifying everything, and once it does it makes anxiety worse 🤦‍♀️ My vision has been really affected lately, it gets really blurry in the afternoons and sometimes is almost like tunnel vision. I can only focus on one thing. Also what im guessing is nerve pain in my arms and legs. I'm glad things started to calm down for you, I am almost at 5 months so I hope this will be the same for me. Thank you for your reply, I really appreciate chatting with people in the same situation, as awful as it is.. it reminds me that I'm not alone in this and that things will get better.Β

Anyone else experience lip tingling?Β  That usually leads to whole face tingling, even their head?

Yep! Lip tingling, tongue, throat, roof of mouth, face, eyes, feet, hands...you name it I've been tingling there at some point! It dies down after a few months.

@jessm hi, I can’t see what I originally posted to you. I think my worst months were 2-5 then my body has slowly calmed down since. A lot of people are having good results with adding antihistamines & supplements for inflammation so try adding this to what you’re already doing. High dose vit c is good for neutralising histamine too so add that. Look on this long covid page, they seem to suffer the same as us, look for post about tingling on 12th jan from Lane Bond.

I am just over 7 months now & can definitely say I am so much better then I was. I get the odd internal shaking, head & arms feel buzzy, heat in legs on/off, feet have got less tingly even in the last few days… i added b12 so not sure if that’s helping.Β

@craigca That's my lingering symptom as well. I have a numb spot along my left jawline that has not gone away. At one point, symptoms went up my scalp, down my arm, trunk, and left leg. I do get that occasionally; but my biggest complaint is the facial numbness/tingling/creeping. I do get some of that on both sides of my face; but the majority is left side. Some days, I have eye twitches, lip twitches, and even cheek twitches. Today it's acting up again. Booster was 10/6/21; numbness and tickling started 10/7.

@mugwump Thankyou for your rep,y, I will add that to my list!Β

Managed to get some Ivernectin and I will trial 3 doses of 15mg at two days intervals. See if this will help?

This forum is a godsend for many people having very similar but different symptoms.Β

I just CANNOT understand why we have been left out in the cold and having to fend for ourselves. Thank goodnessΒ  for places like this.

I shall let you know if this helps much or not. Some of the locals where I live tell me to take it and get some zinc tablets to take at the same time..

When I am talking to random people in our town I am seeing more and more people with similar but milder symptoms like on these forum pages and most people don't seem to link this Vax to it till I ask them did it start after your shot, then they think, oh come to think about it yes. A few weeks after.

Thanks again! And take care!

@alma hi, alot of my symptoms are similar to yours. Only thing is I don't get that itch thing happening but notice that my toes are feeling really frozen sometimes and my hands get that bloated feeling and fingertips can get very sensitive! Sometimes I get those little sharp pains up my legs as well as pain at injection site.

The fatigue that comes with this is really bad ex by the afternoon and I think my blood pressure fluctuations are making me light headed and dizzy?

I at least have a doctor that believes me and is going to write me up a deferral for the booster for 6 months as working for gov, they are mandating boosters soon and at least I will have a job for another 6 months. I am hoping thinks might change by then or I shall be unemployed.

The cardiologist I saw the other day blew me off with that crap, saying you have anxiety get your booster. NOT IMPRESSED !Β

I too think this is some sort of nervous system inflammation or damage. But I am wondering if those spike protiens are still being produced some how causing this. So I am going to give Ivermectin a go and see if it makes any difference.?Β

ALL THE BEST

@thekrc Hello. So pleased to find this forum!

I've a very similar tale to tell. A week or so after my Pfizer booster I got a strange itchy tingling in my right leg. Didn't think much about but it persisted and then 8 weeks after the shot I suddenly got the full works - tingling around nose and lips, buzzy feeling ( like palpitations ) in the chest, numbness and tingling in right foot and hands. 5 weeks later it has waxed and waned a bit but the foot numbness and tingling in foot and hands are persistent as is buzzy palpitations in chest particularly at night.

Doctor unable to explain as nerves still functionning but she did say that Covid itself can produce these symptoms. I haven't had Covid but now am convinced that it is the Pfizer shot that has caused it.

Thank you for all your posts - so good to know that I'm not alone!

If you're going to take zinc, make sure you add an ionophore with it in order to increase its effectiveness.Β  I use quercetin as it's the easiest to find here in Canada.Β  Sadly, even though many use it for an allergen control, I'm one of the lucky few who develop hives if I use it daily so I limit my quercetin intake to twice a week along with some anti-histamines.Β  For ivermectin, I used to take it about once every two weeks when I worked in Thailand as it was supposed to prevent schisosomiasis.Β  I never had any issues taking it but a few co-workers complained of blurry vision initially.Β  Once they lowered their dosage, they were fine.

Has anyone had success with ivermectim? I'm able to get some but am hesitant to put anything into my body at this point. I couldn't deal with things getting worse but am getting a bit desperate. What is the iveemectim supposed to do?

@mugwump Hi - that’s too bad -another dead end. Β As an FYI, I saw my neurologist this week. Months ago when I first saw him he had a half dozen patients like us, now he has 12. Β I don’t have the impression the neurologist understands why exactly our symptoms are happening. I was offered meds for nerve pain but nothing to treat the cause. He does believe this is a vaccine reaction which is good to hear as I don’t feel any of the ER docs felt it could be the vaccine. I was unfortunately assured that my symptoms do NOT qualify for an exemption since they are not in the list of symptoms that check the box. He was very confident in saying that he felt this would all go away…but it’s been 7 months and I won’t believe until I experience that.Β
Another FYI: the SIC that I noted in an earlier post to you called me back 3 Months after my referral. They gave me an appointment originally for this September! Meaning 13 months after this all started…and 9-10 months after the referral was submitted. Β They told me sorry, but they are overwhelmed with COVID vaccine reaction patients and they can’t keep up with the demand
