I have had all symptoms for 7 months now (tingling, cramping, nerve pain) plus original shortness of breath with odd forearm squeezing/chemical feel (1month), rapid and irregular heart rate (1.5weeks), random muscle twitching, headaches, etc.

randomly a few weeks ago, the shortness or breath, hear rate issues; and odd squeezing feeling on forearms all came back for a few weeks….then disappeared again.has anyone experienced that? Nerve issues present through but shift around often

Another question; on day 3 of my symptoms by shoulder locked up - I haven’t been able to put it behind my back for 7 months despite physio.  I just woke up that morning and it no longer worked…and still doesn’t. Has anyone experienced this shoulder issue - did it go away?

@medee yes still feeling back to normal now.  Although I do still find if I am very anxious, I start to feel the "pulsing" in my legs a bit.  But this is very rare, and so much milder than when I first got the shot.  Hope you are also doing well!

For how long have you been feeling better now?

Pls use QUOTE when replying. Thanks

@j Slightly different but close enough, I have a problem with my neck, I can't turn my head. I've done many treatments but same thing. 7 months in post Vax and don't know why the list includes a weird neck issues that radiates to my back shoulder. It feels lumpy in my neck and tests can't turn up anything. Have you had x-ray or ultrasound?

I know a few people on here have that rocking on a boat feeling. What did you do for it? It's driving me crazy and making me a bit nauseous. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm thanks for the reply. Yes the back of my neck/shoulder is very lumpy and tense. No imaging done on that yet but I see my family doc this week so will raise again.  I have had massage, physio and chiro on it.  Massage helps a bit but seems to stir up the pins and needles, etc.

Did you end up getting imaging done?

@j yes I've had MRI of head and spine, head CT scan, shoulder ultrasound and x-ray. All normal. The next thing I want to ask is an ultrasound of my neck to see the lymph nodes and the nerves. Massage helps for me a bit as well but I can still feel the issue. My dr said a while a go he thinks it was tense muscles but it's been 8 months now and with treatment and exercise, no improvement.

I have the exact neck pain you are talking about. It is on the back of my neck on the left side. It sometimes fluctuates in intensity, and when it gets really painful all of my other symptoms seem to go crazy as well. I have also had a head and neck MRI without contrast and they were normal. I have started considering the possibility of CSF leakage. I am considering this only because I have a few of the symptoms listed online of this, and because my MRIs were without contrast so they would not likely identify a CSF leak. I have no clue how likely or unlikely this is, but it the avenue I am starting to go down.

@sickofthis Is your side of the neck lumpy too? Same with me, it tends to go hand and hand with my symptoms. Someone posted on here about the Vagus Nerve contributing to long COVID symptoms. It resignated with me as the symptoms are all over the place. Like our post Vax stuff and similarity to long COVID. What has helped you?

@twitch I am much better than I was a few months ago. I am nervous to even say it, because I don’t want to jinx myself, but I feel I am at 95% now. My symptoms came on gradually, starting a few days after the jab and were the worst at about the 2 month mark. Then they started to back off around the 3 month mark. I am now going several days without any pins and needles. My right toes are still slightly weird feeling, but I can handle that.

I take several supplements and not sure if that is helping or just coincidence. Please do your own research on these before taking them, but I take Vitamin D (I have taken this for years), NAC, Vac-Chord, Magnesium, Quercetin, and Zinc. I do not take all of these in a day, and take a lot of half doses by cutting pills in half, or opening the capsules and dumping some out  I also rotate certain ones every other day. I have always been sensitive to medication, so I am cautious about not over doing it. I feel since I added the zinc, I have had the most improvement. Please do your own research on any supplements before you take them.

I am able to workout to about 66% of what I had prior to the jab. Best wishes for a quick and full recovery!

May I ask how you are doing now ?

I dont think mine is lumpy, at least I cannot feel it. Yeah I have read some into the vagus nerve and maybe that is the cause. Not sure. Did you read, is it a swollen vagus nerve that is believed to cause our problems? I find that leaving my neck alone completely (not trying to massage it or anything) usually allows it to calm down in a couple days after a major flare. Every time I try to put pressure in the area I end up paying for it the next few days with more symptoms. Thats about it though. ANything that helps you?

Hi all. It’s been about a week since I’ve been treating my adverse symptoms to my J&J shot. I’ve had the vaccine for a month and have been experiencing pins and needles, numbness, tinnitus, restlessness, and anxiety.

To treat my symptoms, I have started taking anti inflammatory supplements as well as some anxiety management. I am taking glucosamine with chondroitin and MCM as well as Omega-3 fish oil and I want to just say this is already doing WONDERS for my numbness and pins and needles. The discomfort from 1-10 was a solid 8 but I can say confidently I’m at about a 3. The tinnitus is coming and going, and I’ve been doing a couple exercises in AM to reduce comfort. I’m adding turmeric in starting this week and also drinking as much water as possible.

The improvements are happening a lot faster than I anticipated and I’m shocked to say the least - I encourage anyone experiencing the muscle and joint paint to get the supplements. They generally are said to start working after 4 weeks but I’m getting fast results. My mental is better than usual as well thanks to it.

Will update again in a week. Stay strong everyone!

Hi I too had J and J about a month  ago  Jan 15 and are having some burning sensations  and toes and fingers on and off numbness . As well as weird pulsing in wrists. Slight pain in right foot . And constant back pain . So far bearable with Advil . Symptoms  are slightly  mild right now and prey they stay that way.  Any suggestions  . Doctor says is anxiety  . I am a very anxious person and really didn't want to get this. And have been stressed and anxious that I've caught  either GBS , Transverse myelitis.  Peripheral neuropathy.  . This site has helped . Trying to stay positive  as I have a very young family. I have MRI scheduled  ...but here in Canada could  be 6 to 9 months.  Also have a nerve conduction  test scheduled  ..hopefully  in the next month.  And a referral  to a neurologist.  Although  appears these  one back negative  ??? . Went to ER and was practically  pushed out the door as just anxiety  and stress. Is it possible  that's all it is ???

Hi All,  wow! stumbled upon this forum today after 2 1/2 months of not thinking anyone else had the symptoms i have.

similar issues with me. 50 year old male. Pfizer booster shot on 11/16, and from the beginning of December until now feeling pins/needles in right foot, leg cramp, and body flushing, polyneuropathy(hot all over my body). The flushing seems to come and go every few days. (no issues from 1st and 2nd Pfizer shot)

After many rounds of blood tests for autoimmune diseases, lyme, etc.. , nothing really came up except for vit. d deficient

I've seen a neurologist (EMG and Nerve Conduction test), and confirmed i have neuropathy in my right foot, but it seems too coincidental to just start right after my shot. I'm on gabapentin, and increased Vit. D, B6, b12.  I was vit.D deficient.  the neurologist stated to take gabapentin and see if it goes away, but no mention that it could be from the vaccine. The gabapentin has allowed me to sleep through the night though. December I was up most nights with shooting pain in my foot and leg that would wake me up.  I have also seen a cardiologist, and EKG, and Echo test are normal.  Additionally i had sonogram on my legs since at one point the cramp was so bad (along with foot pins and needles, and body flushing) that i went to the ER. legs were also clear of any clots.

Exercising seems to a help a little, but this needs to go away!

Thanks for listening, and I hope all of you start feeling better soon

@tbraziel   i had the same thing after my booster shot (or so it seems that is what caused it)  i have numbness and tingling, and worse at night and disrupted sleep. (Gabapenten has helped me sleep again). I also had the same feeling as if somethings wrong with my circulation, and i was waking up completely flushed over my entire body.  I sure hope this will run its course soon for everyone and we can all get through it.
