@chipster I had all those problems for 6 months after my first jab, at 9 months now I still have the odd feeling in my feet & side of face. No doctor acknowledged it was the vaccine & all said anxiety so have got better with no help just keeping well & taking supplements. I do believe it may have been a mild form or gbs or nerve dysfunction which I know takes time to heal. Hope you feel better soon.

@philroy sorry to hear you are suffering too. I am 9 months out from first jab. I got tingling in my hands & feet a few days after which lasted full on for 6 months then settled down. I get the odd feeling in my feet & side of face now & legs feel a bit tingly but nothing like it was. I hope it’s the nerves healing which I know can take time. The doctor will more than likely fob you off & say no way the vaccine caused your problems etc etc as most of us have not got any help from the medical profession. Mostly blame our problems on anxiety or underlying autoimmune problems that have now come out. Most tests done have found nothing wrong so no way to treat. Look after yourself, up your fluid intake, eat healthy & take supplements & try not to worry about it. Wish you a speedy recovery.

Wow.

I thought I was overthinking.

I thought nah, I have diabetes.

Afterall so many millions of people have had this vaccine and well, took the plunge for the first shot, March 5th.

It's been a weird time since. Tingling forearms, legs, then hands, and feet, sometimes face warm tight feeling in those areas other times. Blurry to ok back to blurry vision.

Literally, was checking my blood pressure, sugar levels obsessively thinking it wasn't the vaccine.

Now that I found this, well. Just speechless.

I'm two weeks in, what else will happen and for how long? 6 months seems to be the norm duration and that takes me to September and even that is a maybe the symptoms go away.

Just gonna say thank you all for sharing your experiences, your advice, your hope. I was seriously losing my mind. I am still there but finding peace as I continue to read through this.

All the best to everyone affected and hopefully a speedy recovery!!!

Hi, yes I had burning also. It started after the all over tingling was starting to go. I would have what felt like hot drip of water down my shins,  a deep heat feeling inside limbs & lower back also a frozen burning feeling in patches & a burning sinus feeling, all very strange which always makes me lead back to nerves playing up as they cause odd sensations. I then started to get nerve pinging pains & the tingling spread out so just kept telling myself they were healing.

What supplements did you take for your symptoms  and have they lessened ?

What haven’t I taken lol! At the beginning of it all I cut out sugar & sat fats. I took high dose vit c & d (blood tests showed I was low in d) amongst other comments I have seen many say they had low d too so not sure if that’s related to side effects. I took vit a & e as antioxidants but changed to Gluthathione & nac. I then added b12 but think that made me feel worse so stopped then added Alpha lipoic acid & noticed further improvement. Hard to say if it was any supplements or just time though. As I said I still have a few odd feelings & it seems to be more of a buzzing feeling then tingling now. Can’t wait for the day to not feel anything weird in my body!!

@kim-h

Hi,

Great and reassuring to hear you’re feeling better. I just finished with the neurologist and although the tests came back negative she said that while they can’t detect anything, she’s seen too many people with similar symptoms after getting the vaccine to believe it’s anxiety (which is what she and her colleagues thought when the first few patients came in). It’s not any profound structural damage but it is some kind of genuine reaction that doesn’t register with current tests. The good news is it will resolve in time as your experience shows.

All the best

Update: 6 weeks out from 4th Pfizer booster and still with numbness and tingling and twitching in feet and up to knees, sometimes in fingers. On somedays I think it's getting better, then the next day it comes back full force. Sometimes I feel like I am wearing itchy wool leggings. In fact, tight shoes, leggings and even too much walking make it worse. I am an RN and I am fortunate that my doctors, general doctor and neurologist, believe me and both attribute to a vaccine reaction. They continue to tell me it will go away. From the stories I see on here, it looks like it will take 6 months. Like almost everyone else, every blood test, each MRI, EMG and all exams are totally normal. The doctors have no explanation for this. The one I trust the most tells me, "It's a new disease, it's a new vaccine. We have no tests to tell you what is happening." But at the end of the day, I tell myself it's still better than getting covid and dying. So many of my friends and colleagues have died before there was the vaccine, I am sure they would gladly trade months of numbness and tingling in exchange to be alive again. These are the supplements I have taken : NAC, Alpha Lipoic Acid, L-Glutamine, 1000mg vit C daily, curcumin extract, homeopathic pellets Hypericum perforatum, L Acetyl Carnine. Even a few days of gabapentin, which turned me into a zombie. And a 10 day course of prednisone (for another issue)Nothing has helped. So, I say, what else can I do  except "tincture of time", and prayers for all.

@chipster That’s great to hear it’s finally being recognised, hopefully the word spreads to all doctors etc. it’s certainly a bizarre side effect for us all to have.

@gazzman Hi. How's things going? Can you please give us an update on how you are doing, especially after your 3 week course of IVMCT... thanks

Did your tingling come back after your first 3 out of 5 day round?

@buzzgirl hi everyone, has been maybe a month now since my last post so I better do a update. Thanks for the reminder Buzzgirl!

Since  my last post I have had another 3 doses of Ivm. Roughly a week apart. Still inproving! Put the 4th one on hold ATM. Still blood pressure issues and a pain in the shoulder, injection site that still comes and goes, but a can go a day without it happening now. The numbness in my feet is much improved. I can almost walk normal again! Still somedays are better than others. My hands almost normal now, they seem sensitive to pain when doing work like fencing or undoing bolts etc maybe a little buzzy but not tingling and numb like before. No headaches or dizziness or feeling like passing out. Still taking NAC once a day with B12, D3, zinc and C.

I can pretty much work through the day now. Before by lunch I was completely stuffed. Plenty of fatigue.

No chest pain either or feeling like my heart is going to jump out my chest. This was stressful when it happened and usually in the middle of the night. Would wake me up.

Maybe with some of us, the mrna is still in our system long after it should be gone? Creating spike protiens in cells where it shouldn't be like our nervous system etc. Saw a study about this with some people still producing spike protiens 2-3 months after Vax.

I really hope someone can actually do a study and find out what is happening. They seem to worry about long covid patients but us adverse reaction people are just forgotten about. Makes me angry and sick of all the mandates they push.

Anyway take care everyone! We we all improve And  I shall keep the updates coming every few weeks!
