First time poster. Glad to see I'm not alone here in some strange, unwanted symptoms post Pfizer vax. I am 30 and got my 1st dose in early September and had experiences of dizziness & vertigo about 8 days after this for a couple of weeks. Nothing unbearable, but noticed a strange unbalance within myself out on walks or exercising. Decided to get the 2nd dose at the end of September as I didn't want to be locked out of cafes, bars, gyms etc with no double vax proof (this is needed in Australia).

Vertigo and dizziness continued after the 2nd shot on Sep 29 but this has been accompanied now with unexplained numbness and tingling on the left side of my body. It started a week after the second dose and has continued since. I have numbness & tingling in the left side of my face and head area (not all the time but comes and goes on certain days). I also have a persistent numbness or dullness in my entire left leg. Whilst I can walk comfortably, my left leg just feels like its slightly dead or limp. Had a couple of episodes of twitching in my left middle ring finger for a week also which has stopped. So this has been ongoing now and getting very worried at the moment.

Have an MRI booked for next week so hopefully that will put my mind at rest and rule out anything sinister. Will need to visit a neurologist if that comes back all clear.

Vaccines, eh?

Hope everyone is safe.

I don't think it's GBS as it says that happens on both sides simultaneously, mine's only on one side - but I agree it's some kind of nerve inflammation/irritation.. I'm hoping it gets better soon or at least goes into remission for a few days!

If it helps anyone, using a TENS machine can distract you from it for a while..

I'm seeing Neuro again tomorrow so will update then.. no sleep again so exhausted from it all 🙁

I am scared as well. I think a lot of us are. Have you seen the doctor for your symptoms?

My anxiety has hit legendary levels! I struggle every day and have never produced so much adrenaline in my life - the 4 !!! consultants I've seen are next to useless.  Pray to God you get a good Doctor!

@lmkk I was thinking maybe if I stopped BFing it would help me get better with not having the stress on my body to make food and heal. Just a theory. I have noticed there are at least 3-5 of us on this thread that are post partum. I wonder if there is anything to that? I had a feeling I should’ve left well enough alone but I was so scared for me or my baby to get Covid I gave in. I’m so ready to wake up from this nightmare. Speaking of, my initial symptoms were so much worse. I had nightmares so real feeling I would cry before bed because I didn’t want to go to sleep. I had this energy feeling surging through my body I can’t explain. My head felt like it had so much pressure it would burst. My ears hurt so bad but doctors always said they looked fine. They felt like there was immense pressure pushing on them from the inside. I had waves of electrical feelings comping over my body over and over. My skin felt cold under covers because my nerve endings in my skin were so sensitive. I also had paresthesias and numbness and tingling in all limbs and paresthesias even in my abdominal area. I would also get them on my right shoulder blade. I had tinnitus and had trouble hearing and concentrating. I had a low grade temp for 6-7 weeks straight during the day when I felt the worst and at night my temp would go back to normal. I had/have GI issues. My lasting symptoms are numbness in my feet, tinnitus sometimes, GI issues, paresthesia in my right shoulder blade, burning skin and lipomas that formed under my skin in my arms and legs.

I’m hoping for all of us we find some healing and peace. For me, I will continue to fight for justice on this and push for more research. I live in the United States and no one here seems to know anything either. I called a senator the other day. My personality is such that I don’t give up when I have an issue like this. I will not stop until I’m heard. Some states are mandating the vaccine in children to go to school. My children will not be getting these and I will homeschool them if I have to.

Hi there how are you feeling today, any improvement in symptoms? I get what you are saying about stopping BFding as it's less pressure on the body. As my little one will start trying baby food in another month or so I'm just going to keep going with it.

I will definitely home school as well if it comes to that. It's a crime giving these vaccines to kids when the risk of serious side effects from covid is minimal in kids anyway. I find the whole idea very sinister.

Good luck in your fight for justice.

Hello, I waited to feel better for some weeks at least before updating you all. I got my first and only Pfizer dose on August 29th. The worst moment was weeks 3 and 4. I really though it was the end. I got paresthesia, numbness in legs, arms and half of my face, burning sensation, internal vibration at night (the scariest thing ever), insomnia, tremors, stomach ache, what I would call waves of terror and doom (nothing to do with regular anxiety), ah I also have eyes floaters (getting a bit better). Starting from week 5 symptoms started to get better and better. I'm experiencing relapses but very very mild. I never went back to how I was feeling on week 3 and 4. This last month I was at 90%-95% all the time. Last week I was 100% for several days already and yesterday night I was feeling tingling in my legs again but very mild. Thanks to this forum I know it's going to take a while, but having already great days made me really hopeful. I'm eating super healthy and anti inflammatory food, I am just taking vitamin D and C at the moment. I moved back to my parents and I've been living like a retired person even if I am 36 😂 Trying to stay positive and surrounded by people that love, believe and support you is so important. I will write another update next month hoping to improve and be able to give you more good news and hope ❤ Sending love to you all.

@shelleyzou i had all these symptoms. Even the low iron levels and UTI! H1 and H2 histamine blockers (Prevacid and xyzal daily) and a week oral steroid helped me in the recovery process! I’m 3.5 months after 1 moderna vaccine  and 80-90% better and starting to lightly exercise. I was hospitalized for 5 days (MRIs and lumbar puncture) all normal even though I was super sick! Couldn’t walk, fatigued, tinnitus, pins and needles, numbness…

@tashley I can be reached on [email protected]. I'm post partum and I'm having all these symptoms. Had MRI all is clear and my doctor seems to be very dismissive. I'll be seeing another doctor soon. I'm getting very overwhelmed with this and I am yet to have the second shot. It seems they are ignoring or is reluctant to provide medical exemption to person experiencing what has been listed as SEVERE side effects. Smh

@floryeo hello - I am at 4 months post Pfizer dose #4.

Symptoms that are still here:

tingling in hands/feet/lower legs…but less, muscle twitches on backs of thighs 1-3x per week, hand and feet cramping, hands and feet fall asleep about 40x/day.

Symptoms that are gone:

fatigue, brain fog, shortness of breath; increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, tingling in face/head/torso

Thank you for the reply Richard thats good to hear. I have my second dose booked for 2 weeks from now.
How are you feeling now since taking the second dose? still all the same?

Im a little nervous but think I should be fine.

For everyone else on here, my symptoms have already gotten alot better. I have had a couple days with barely any tingling, and basically the only symptom I have is a mild burning sensation in my skin.
I have noticed when I drink alcohol the tingling seems to get worse, so as many on here have suggested its probably an inflammation of the CNS causing this.
Another thing to note, guys, its honestly best if you try not to over think this. I have absolutely no doubt that obssesing over it makes the symptoms feel worse.

Try and relax and it will ease.
Good luck all 🙂

@downunderguy

I ended up in the ER one week after my symptoms started. They did every test you could think of and everything came back fine. I was told to see neurology. I have an appointment with my GP today and will get the referral then. I’m just praying it all goes away for us all soon. It has been a really rough time. I have seen so many different posts with varying healing times. Praying ours is short.

@lalak my neurologist said my MRI was clear of MS or other nasties and my nerve test where they jolt you and test your nerve reaction (I’ve forgotten the name of the test) was fine. He also didn’t believe it was the vaccine causing my symptoms but had no answers to what was causing them. He basically said if the symptoms were gradually easing then move on and stop looking for answers. I feel like no one in the medical field has any idea about why the vaccine is causing these symptoms , its totally new territory.

May I ask you what were your symptoms? How are you feeling these days?

I just read about FND - Functional Neurological Disorder about which most Neurologists won't have a clue and the reports always shows normal. This was scary to know about. I don't know if this is why everyone's report does not show any alarming results.

Is there anyone out here who is completely cured from neurological issues - tingling, muscle tremors and weakness, nerve pain, weird feeling in the head?
